Illis had nothing to take off but his shorts, so he didn't bother and just...stared at the water for a moment. Oh right, he'd forgotten. He was scared of water."Uh-"

"Come on, Illis. The water won't hurt you." Dalamar opens his eyes and looks over his shoulder at the cat, giving him a reassuring smile.

Illis bit his lip and put a foot into the water gingerly. This was great, he probably looked like an idiot. Ah well, there was nothing for it. Of course, he was being so careful that he slipped and fell in, promptly freaking out.
((Eheh, sorry. Everytime I try to be careful, I fall or something,so...))

Dalamar eeped and hurriedly helped the cat out of the water, sitting him down a few feet away and placing his hands on Illis' shoulders to calm him. "Are you ok?"

Illis sat there, shivering slightly, staring at Dalamar with wide eyes. He nodded his head after a few moments, his tail poofed up from the scare he'd gotten,"I-I'm ok," he squeaked, now blushing from embarassment as he looked down at his knees.

Dalamar noticed the blush and smiled softly, leaning forward to plant a kiss on Illis' forehead. "Its ok." He stood and gathered up his clothes then came back to the kitty and wrapped his scarf around him. "Lets go back to the inn. I'll find you a blanket there."

Illis smiled and snuggled into the scarf. It smelt like Dalamar. He got up and followed him into the house, the heat in his cheeks fading slightly it was still embarassing, but he was able to laugh at himself now, and he did, quietly into the scarf.

The angel led Illis up to his room and sat the kitty down on his futon while he rummaged through his closet, looking for a blanket. He finally found one and wrapped it around the cat's shoulders. "There now. Feeling a bit better?" He smiled sweetly, kneeling in front of him.

Illis nodded and snuggled into the blanket instead,"Yeah. Thanks. Sorry for freaking out. I just...really don't like water." he shook his head, but smiled at Dalamar, his cheeks going pink again.

"There's no need to apologize. It was my fault really." He rubbed the back of his head and sweatdropped, letting Illis hold onto his scarf.

Illis blinked and tilted his head,"How?" he ran his fingers over the fabric of Dal's scarf, which was still in his hands. It was soft. He didn't see how it was Dalamar's fault. He didn't know that Illis was afraid of water, and Illis was the one that had agreed to go. Atleast now he remembered why he'd never been in a hotspring before.

"You told me once that you didn't like water but I completely forgot." He frowned slightly and looked down at his lap, thinking back to when he had offered to show Illis the mer tank. Dalamar slowly brought his gaze back up to the kitty's face, his eyes looking a bit watery. "I'm sorry."

Illis didn't know what to do, so he leant forward and kissed him softly, then pulled back, smiling."It wasn't your fault. It's not like you forced me to go in there. And I forgot that I was scared of water too, as strange as it sounds."

Dalamar still felt upset but he managed a faint smile, his cheeks tinged pink from Illis' kiss. After a moment he tilted his head and asked curiously, "How could you forget that you were afraid of water?"

Illis shrugged,"I don't know. You just asked me to go, and it completely slipped my mind," he giggled softly and shook his head,"Bet I sound real dumb, don't I?"
