http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?page=1&t=8001639#101751907Oh Brother..(Ghost and Boo) PRP 2/25/07 Tweekend RP for Tweek and Mondo! Ghost cheerfully smiled at the nice weather, flapping her wings at the feel of a cool breeze. Her days had been quiet and relaxing, and although she enjoyed such, since she had grown older, her lack of 'adventures' had subsided. Everything around her had become more serious, with issues of different Soquili, and dangers that never seemed apparent to her as a young child.
It had been awhile, also, since she had seen her siblings. This to her was painful, only because of her closeness to her family. She recently had many random encounters, some more interesting than the next, though to her it was hard to cope with the separation of her family.
As she approached a clearing, her ears twitched at the sound of a cool creek. Her mind wandered, dreaming about the comfort of the nature around her. She was at peace, slowly drifting to the side, she layed her body on a near by rock, allowing herself full relaxation. Mondo Celest Boo wasn't sure if he had ever tasted water as pure and clean as the water from this creek he had found. The sun was mildly hot on his black coat, and the water felt wonderful on his muzzle. Today had been a good day, or as good as they go. He had stumbled upon a wild apple tree, and snacked on a few that had fallen to the ground, either because they were ripe, or from the help of some marauding creature. He wasn't complaining, though. He enjoyed being alone. He wasn't completely anti-social, but he felt at peace when he had a place to himself to think and relax. Deciding that shade would be good right about now, Boo headed away from the creek and back towards the woods at its bank. Eying a particularly comfortable looking rock, he decided that would be a good place to nap. As he slowly made his way towards his destination, a familiar bit of pinkish-peach colour poked out among the landscape on the other side of the rock. Following the brightly coloured coat, Boo made out a pair of dark, glinting wings, and he smiled. What a pleasant surprise to find one of his sisters! Noticing that she was resting, he smirked, and moved as quietly as possible. Inching slowly towards his sister, Boo placed his muzzle close to her resting head, and screamed (conveniently) 'BOO!' Ghost almost fell over from her quick doze, but was suddenly excited to see someone very unlikely. Of all of the Soquili that could have appeared, she was finally lucky enough to see her brother. "Aha, how silly it is that you scare me with your own name!" She giggled to him. Although a bit tired, she smiled widely from her complete happiness.
Moving herself off the rock, she made her body stand up straighter and adjusted her position. She faced him, and bounced happily in front of him. She had forgotten how much he had grown, and how different they now were. "This is a nice suprise indeed! I haven't seen you around, Boo."
He looked so much like their father, having a strong stature, with cool but calm eyes. He really had grown up so much, holding a maturity that she wanted to grasp on to. It was just like their sister, and how she had the strength to carry on. Although Ghost felt she was capable, it was still hard for her to forget her many dreams.
"What were you doing before you ran into my sleepy self?" She shook her bangs off her face and blushed. She must have looked so lazy, sleeping like that on a rock.Mondo Celest Boo softly laughed to himself, his smile growing wider. "I was just exploring, really. I haven't been this far down to the creek yet, and with nothing else to do on such a nice day, I figured, why not? And look what I found!" He looked his sister over. What a lovely mare she had become! Her wings were dazzling in the sunlight, and he could see his mother in her coat and eyes. He hadn't seen any of his family members in a long while, and it was refreshing to be able to talk with one of his sisters. "I've been around, I guess. I've never been the most social stallion. So tell, me, sister! How is life treating you? You look wonderful. Your wings make me jealous of my own!" He smiled again, bowing his head, and bringing it back up, shaking his curly mane in the light breeze. "Have you heard from our sister, or perhaps Mum or Dad?" "That is surprisingly lucky, its not everday that you can meet your sister falling asleep on a rock, and be able to pull a prank!" She fluttered her wings and giggled excitedly, knowing she was acting a bit immature. She didn't care, she was too happy, her family meant everything to her.
"It is suprising, I am sure you could find a mate if you try brother! Mother and father would be so proud." She thought about herself in that matter, wondering what her future would hold. "Though, I guess that is something that shouldn't be planned really.." She was still learning, and through meeting others and hearing their stories, she was having an easier time understanding grown up things.
She was suprised to hear him speak of her wings, they seemed to be a popular attraction for many. "I enjoy these wings, especially since mother bears them herself. I like that they are a mix of mom and dad, though I don't know why so many are fond of them." She tilted her head and nosed at one of them.
Sighing, she looked back at her brother, thinking about their parents again. "Actually, I haven't really. I mean, I have seen Sis, and she is always there protecting me.." She blushed a bit, though slowly continued on. "But I have not seen much of the parents. I spend my days running into many personalities." She giggled lightly.Mondo Celest "I see. I'm sure they're off and about, having some great adventure or something. Mother always did like to travel." Although it wasn't a particularly warm day, the rays of the sun were beating down on Boo's dark coat, making him slightly uncomfortable in the heat. "Bah, this heat is making my head hurt. How about we take a good fly?" He smiled at his sister, and took off at a gentle trot, and then broke into a fast gallop. With a strong push from his back legs, he jumped into the air, filling the underside of his avian-like wings with enough air to push him forward. He flapped hard once, and then left his wings open, gliding on the gentle air currents. "Much better," he yelled to his sister, "you should come join me!" Ghost eagerly looked up to see her brother soaring above her. "I um.." She paused for a second, shifting at her feet. "Boo I've never, flown before." Her faced turned red, and she hid her eyes under her bangs. "You can laugh if you want!" She said, childishly.
It was just something that she hadn't tried yet. She really didn't use her wings, she just sorta, wagged them at times.
"I would come join you if I knew how.." She trailed, but suddenly flapped each wing back and forth. It took her awhile, but finally she got them in unison. She focused as hard as she could, but felt her balance bother her when she tried to tipy toe off the ground. "Uggggh.." She said, angerly.
"Do these silly wings even work?" She loved her wings, knowing that they looked like her father but came from her mother. Buuut, what they did, she had no idea.

In thread RP- Guilian and Ariston Feb 26 07 Cajmera Guilian: *laughs at Ariston* A class alone except when it's that of the best, no? *winks* And don't mind him, he can't help but appreciate perfection when he sees it *indicating Safi with a smile* Tweekend Ariston- Guilian, where have you been! And how are your lady troubles? They are over, I hope? ; ) Cajmera Guilian: *laughs* Where have I been? The question is, where have YOU been, my friend? I have met and spoken to your friend here *nods at Desire* But many days have passed since I've seen you. As to the other...*ponders* Depends on what you mean. Things have gotten a bit better, yes, and more interesting, of that helps...*sly grin* Tweekend Ariston- I had hair troubles, so to save myself and everyone else, I would never venture into the open and let myself be humiliated *adjusts mane dramatically* This weather is horrid I tell you!
But that is good to hear, interesting usually brings up a.. better experience? I am still suprised you put in the effort, though. Cajmera Guilian: *sage nod* Understandable. That's partly why I prefer to keep my hair shorter; fewer bad hair moments, and it is SO fetching *smiles* But yes...*chuckles* I still have my over-obssessed kalona lady, that's true; however, she's decided she's willing to do ANYTHING to keep me loyal to her *winks* So for now, sticking to one mare hasn't been THAT difficult *laughs* Though it HAS been difficult to limit myself, even with this sort of opportunity *sighs* Tweekend *turns head and sneers at the thought of a Kalona* I myself am dealing with one now, she is actually quite enjoyable, though there is something odd about her that limits her from any kind of emotional enjoyment *sighs dramactically* I will never be able to explain my race. Though, anything to keep you loyal? I guess I would stand the same, then ; D Cajmera Guilian: *laughs* She is an interesting creature, actually; fierce as hell and proud of herself; she was so irate with herself for letting me touch her originally, since I was weak *snorts at the very idea* But now, she's at the point where she simply doesn't care and ONLY wants me to touch her *laughs* And yes...*grins* ANYTHING. Tis not a bad arrangement, all things considered wink Tweekend Hmm, saying that you were weak? *flips hair* Oh seriously, how I am not suprised. That's an obsession of Kalona females for some reason, judging here and there. Ridiculous, you are stronger and better than most males anyways, come on, you are aware of such of course *winks at him*
I have been bored with females lately, they had been taking too much personal time from myself. I will get myself back in the game, soon though. I can't stray away for too long, as always. Cajmera Guilian: 'Twas not that I myself was weak, but that I was an inferior race. She was obsessed with the concept of 'watering the line', which I can assure you was NOT something she had to worry about; were I any less confident as to my own abilities and attributes, it might have wounded me to the quick *laughs* Instead, it made overcoming those objections all the more sweeter...*trails off smiling, then catches himself with a laugh* And so you have been in seclusion, eh? Hopefully your game hasn't suffered too much as a result. Tweekend Ugh, that's exactly what I'm talking about. This race thing, drives me NUTS. *flusters* But either way, it is good that you are in control of the situation. I wouldn't have doubted it any other way wink My game? Oh goodness, I am not worried. I guess I have been something as unattractive as, lazy, lately? Heh, but assure you, I wasn't unattractive in the process. Cajmera Guilian: *smiles at Ariston* That is because you, my friend, are exceptional; and more to the point, you can recognize the exceptional around you. My stuation is vexing, yes, but pleasantly so; it gives me time to plan strategy for such a time as I have FINALLY gotten this delightful yet possessed mare off my back *sighs, then eyes Aristong speculatively* Have YOU tried a kalona mare yet, just out of curiousity? devilnightshade Shade: *chuckles* Ariston and 'game' should never be spoken in the same sentence twisted Tweekend *lawls at Shade* Don't be jealous sweetheart, cause I'm not yours wink
Oh please, Guilian, you flatter me too much. I love flattery, and you know that, but I don't ask of it from you, I am aware that you are of a higher status then most; it is something you have and I admire. I have not, should I though? *chuckles* I am, in a weird situation with one, though she interests me.

http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=8031385Wow, you look different! (Vodka and Yonit) PRP 2/27/07 So it was, Vodka had grown up into a very handsome stallion. He noticed his mother and father were proud, and he was also proud to bear their markings. Though, as he walked aimlessly, he sighed at his surroundings, feeling a bit dull. There was something about growing older that made him confused, but he couldn't put his hoof on it. He tried ignoring these emotional feelings, and he strut forward trying to acknowledge the pretty weather.
Seeing a calm spring, he stopped to gently take in some of the cool water. Watching himself in the water was a bit shocking, though he smiled at his mature self. He felt stronger, and more alert then his youth. He enjoyed the feeling.dinyana So many things were a ink blotted blur to the young mare. She had grew up in a world that acknowledged her as being 'inferior' to those older than her. Never a believer in 'with age comes wisdom' she continued to look for silver linings that just never existed in the first place. It was beyond the feeling 'strange', but just incredibly surreal. She didn't even feel like she had gotten older, but had a good feeling that she had become more senile and dumber. The curse of aging.
She had not seen her father, mother, nor sister in quite some time. Everyday she would wander in the woods with some sort of a guardian hawk always looming over her. This time she had hoped that she had lost the diligent hawk in the mist of the forest. With a sigh she peered down a hill and noticed a small spring of pure water from the clouds. Running so long had made her quite parched, so without a word she started down the hill towards the pond. There seemed to be someone there but she did not recognize who. Vodka's ears twitched at the sound of someone else, and he lifted his muzzle to look left and right. Before he could grasp on to anything, his pale eyes caught hold of a winged mare who seemed to be approaching him. Her coloring, markings..She looked about his age, but there was something oddly familiar to her. Still looking confused, he watched her, until suddenly, she was closer.
"Yonit!" He said, with an excited tone. Straightening his back and shaking the water off his muzzle, he moved his body to face her in a more polite manner. As she crept closer, he realized how much she had grown, and how ladylike and poised she had become. "You look, Great!" He said, flushed a bit. How lucky was he, to run into someone he had wanted to see again. Who would have thought they could meet in such a way.dinyana Yonit turned her eyes toward the stallion before her. She remembered that same bright attitude that could show you that the sun always sticks out behind the clouds. A sense of happiness that always lasted in the hearts that it ranged in, both in life and death. It was pure joy that she remembered coming from only one foal from so long ago. How long was it? A couple months since she had seen him. Small world, as her mother would always tell her.
"Why hello there, Vodka. How have you been?" The mare asked with a small feigned smile. In all honesty she wanted some time alone, but at the same time did not mind his company. The two were almost polar opposites. It was no mere coincidence that they would meet again. Only way to make it more humorous is if they had met in the same place they did when they were only foals. She was the same, calm and composed, just as she was as a foal. It made him smile seeing that, though she looked a bit tired, and he wondered if she was alright. "I have been fine, same old daily life. How about you? How are you enjoying adulthood?" He chuckled, thinking about his own experience. It was interesting, all right. Biting his lip, he strut away from asking her anything else and hoped she was alright, and instead held in the moment.
He also noticed her wings had grown, and they radiated in the reflection of the sun. "Heh, I remember commenting on your wings before." He gleamed at her, and walked closer, glancing at them. "Have you tried flying yet?" His father and brother had wings, so of course he was interested to know. It was an undiscovered mystery, just as his mother explained it. He wasn't as effected as she was with the matter, but he was always interested in such.dinyana Yonit smiled. "It's not quite the same," she said, pondering on how to follow up, "but it's not quite different." There was some doubt that he would not understand what this meant but there was more confidence that he would. Though her theory was that there is never any wisdom with your growth she knew how enthusiastic the stallion was when he was a foal. It would not bewilder her if he did not find understanding.
His words continued to spread a soft smile on her face. A well kept memory filled with joy was the true gift of joy any could receive. Remembering all your experiences in life and all the ones you had met was one that she would just give up her own beliefs for such a gift. It was that powerful. "I did try flying a couple times, but in all honesty I prefer the ground. It makes me feel more connected to the Earth." There she went, doing what she used to do, short sentences holding so much in them, too wise for words. He loved it when she spoke, his ears always grasped on what she said and tried to learn from it. "I can relate, though sometimes I find that these days are odd and full of mishaps. Soquili running around with drama and whatnot, it is quite confusing." He stopped suddenly, feeling as if he was ranting. Holding a silly smile, he looked back at her, feeling humorous at his thoughts.
"That is amazing that you tried." He said, with a lifted expression. "I have always heard that the first step of trying is always very hard. That is quite impressive Yonit!" He was excited for her, though smiled at her response to the ground. "Well, the ground is also quite exciting, as we know. But, it would be cool to see you up there someday." Turning his head away, he blushed at his comment, feeling odd at how the words came out. He didn't want to say the wrong thing, and he tried to hold his composure while feeling idiotic. dinyana Yonit nodded. "Drama is the source of all life. Without it then you would never be in the penultimate moment of the world," she softly said, looking up at the roaming clouds in the sky. It made her happy, for some reason, to see how the world was beautiful on it's own. Enlightening billions on it's land no matter where they were. Why was it like this?
"You can't proceed unless you take your first steps," she said, a light smile on her face, "this is a fact in all that you do. Yet if you do not wish to continue to your second or third steps then do not force it upon yourself." She sighed lightly and then noticed a small blush across his face. The urge to giggle childishly was there but she suppressed it. "Yonit.." He paused for a second, and then let his pale eyes fall on hers. "Where do you get all of your wisdom from? It seems as you have grown older, you have grown more wise as well." He let out a light chuckle, though replaced it with a solemn smile. "My body might had grown, though it doesn't feel like my mind has." He looked away, letting the wind carry his long strands of hair. "I feel like to many having the body grow is all that matters, though grasping onto some new knowledge would be more enjoyable for me."
Having the steps to move on.. Vodka knew that those were the types of feelings his mother expressed at times, especially with the thought of not flying. It was an emotional instability he would never understand. "Have you met many other Soquili since now you are able to fly? I've always wondered if that means you will run into more." He smirked gently.dinyana Yonit looked a bit...shocked at Vodka but did not let it fully show. She needed to keep her calm composure at all times. He seemed almost upset at being older. With a sigh she just went a couple steps toward him and smiled. "With age comes responsibility. Mothers, fathers and relatives a like always say this, because it's quite true," she paused, turned her head down at the rippling pond, "but with new adventures, different Soquili and exploration of a world that might not be even ours; with those things come wisdom."
She sat down on the ground near Vodka and continued to stare at the pond. "I have not seen my mother since a couple days after my birth. This is because I strayed from them. My choice was to go out without them and see the world for what it is. The world is vast and I am not nearly close enough to even grazing the full aspect of knowledge in the world. That dear fact is because with everyday there is new things to learn and I fear that not even I can catch up."
Her head turned from the view of the pond to Vodka. "You have grown wiser, Vodka. Even if you do not even know it yourself you have." He looked at her, stunned and taken aback, but only because he was flattered and even a bit confused. He didn't mean to sound so down on himself, though he realized she must of taken it in such away. "I apologize for, ranting." He chuckled, and tried to collect his embarrassed thoughts. "Though, I agree on wisdom coming from such things, but sometimes on lazy days I just sit and ponder about nothing." He watched her, as she sat comfortably on the ground. "Though, sometimes with thoughts of nothingness, I am able to imagine wonderful things." He wanted to impress her in some way, though in mind and speaking he wasn't very successful. Brute strength also didn't seem to be an option. He sighed and looked at the pond as she did, watching the tiny ripples bring life to the steady water. Being timid like his mother, and unsuave like his father, he truly had a lot to learn.
"At least I know from meeting up with you again that many of my jumbled thoughts are now rested." He smiled while still gazing forward. "You always help me with such wonderful knowledge..listening to you speak is always such a pleasure." Again feeling his face flush up, he let his hair fall over him so he was hidden beneath it. 'Idiot' he kept telling himself. Yonit had better things to do then to sit and listen to him ramble. Shaking off the downing thoughts, he wiggled his legs and comfortably fell to where Yonit was, and viewed the area around them as she did now.
"Thank you for the compliment, Yonit." He said, gently. "Since foalhood many told me I was too energetic and full of life, but why would one say such a thing when life is so perfect that way?" He chuckled, and looked back towards her eyes. dinyana "It is not a rant at all," she calmly said, a light smile pecking on her lips. "You were just curious, and curiousity is a fragrance in this world. People hide it because they are afraid of being mocked by perplexing thoughts that many may not understand, but it is not something to be shunned."
Yonit suppressed another blush herself. Being so lonesome all the time she was not used to the idea of being praised or complimented at all. Hearing this from Vodka did make her quite stage-fright, which is something she was so unfamiliar to. With his next question she shook her fears away and chuckled.
"Most Soquili find the world to be amazing at first, but then through an illusion of separation, whether it be by races, families and enemies. So when they see others so much happier and optimistic then they are in their hearts they find I need to bring others to their level. So do not take heed to their words. You cannot be anything that you aren't capable of, so just be happy with yourself. Improvement is one thing, but a forced change of personality is quite different." Again he kept his composure the same, though listened to her words like a lullaby. It was so positive and true, and yet gentle to the ears as well. "Ah, that is true. Though, I don't mean to sound so down all of the sudden. I am quite fine, though sometmes I just.." He gulped as quietly as he could. "I try to, make a good impression towards you." At first the words that came out sounded like that hadn't even been spoken, and he couldn't believe that he said it. It was nice though, to openly let his emotions out.
Too afraid to look at her, he shifted his eyes to an array of trees in the distance. "It is nice not being as bouncy," He chuckled to her, and remembered how hyper he used to be. "But I let some of my energy out by gallpoing around, and even sneaking a buck in or too."
It was a strange feeling, he wasn't sure why he was acting so timid towards her. Maybe it was because he wanted to be older and wiser like her, or even show some change.dinyana Yonit looked shocked- for a split second. She had just hoped Vodka didn't notice it. "You do not need to try so hard to make an impression on me, Vodka. You've made one on me since I was a foal, so do not worry about such things." She really did mean it.
When she was a foal she was found life horribly droll and social contact just another obstacle. Meeting Vodka though she learned such things were not true. There was more to life than all the knowledge it gave. So much more she didn't even know existed until he opened her eyes. For that she was secretly grateful.
At his next comment she stiffened up less and giggled. She was glad to know he was still the same as before. Cheerful and happy, like everyone should be these days. He gulped, also shocked by what she said in response. It meant so much to him.. Yonit herself did overall. He shrugged off the deep emotions for a second and smiled naturally at her, just enjoying the moment again. "Thank you, I hope to always remain a good impression of course." He winked to her playfully, and stood up, only to dip one of his hooves in the water.
"My foot was starting to fall asleep!" He laughed, dipping it in and out. "Oh well. So what were your plans for the rest of the day, Yonit?" He looked at her, curious as to what she would say.
Thankfully, his foot was starting to wake up again, so he was able to focus on her again.dinyana Yonit ignored the friendly wink and just kept a light smile on. "First impressions last for a lifetime, so do not fret over it," she simply said, staring at the flowing ripples that the water made with the touch from Vodka's hoof. The ripples always made her smile. It showed her that life was just like the pond, changing with every new touch to it. So perplexing, yet beautiful all the same.
"My plans?" She asked dumbfounded. Honestly she didn't know what her plans were. All this started with her wanting to just get a small drink of water, but then she met up with Vodka and they just started talking. There was never a trace of thought to what she was going to do. Vodka noticed that he had flustered her, but then he realized he was just a plan kind of person. He had usually set certain things to certain days, and he had always followed such a tactic just as his mother did. "Well, I was just wondering if you had something specific you were doing. I was going to make a trip to an area with apples trees, and I wanted to know if you wanted to join me."
Hopefully, he sounded completely natural and plain in his speech. The apple trees he spoke of had been taught to him as a child, and he was interested to see if Yonit would like some apples herself. It was an experience he enjoyed as a foal, and he wanted to share it with Yonit. dinyana Yonit looked at Vodka, her eyes trying to not show any curiosity in them. The idea of spending time with such an old friend sounded like a good idea to her, but then there was something else aching at her heart. Tugging furiously to have to answered. She just hoped that Vodka had not seen her to be quite dumbfounded by such simple things.
"What're apples?" She meekly asked, becoming a bit flustered. She had heard about their color, how they grow on trees and how they tasted but she never knew what an apple was specifically. Based from what peopled said she guessed it was some kind of food, but she had never really seen one in her life. It was quite embarrassing to her that she did not know something as simple as the concept of a food. Holding a genuine smile, he thought for a second, wondering how to describe the beauty that are apples. "Do not worry, Yonit. Let's see, Apples range from the colors of Red to Yellow to Green. The ones I have found have usually been beautiful Red ones." He nodded, almost tasting the juicy morsels in his mouth. "They are a kind of fruit, which are not only very healthy, but they are sweet and delicious!"
The fact that Yonit was unsure of what they were made him want her to come along even more. "I would love for you to taste some, I think you will want to thank me after for introducing you to something so splendid." He chuckled, and brought his face up towards hers, moving his hair out of the way. She would most likely love it, and he was excited to be able to show her such a delight.dinyana Yonit pondered on his words. So apples came in three different shades, commonly red. They're very sweet, delicious and are healthy? To her something sweet usually meant that the thing had some kind of sugar in it. Yet sugar isn't healthy, isn't it? Whatever apples were they had to be something special if they were both sweet and healthy at the same time.
She then turned to him and smiled sweetly. "Alright then, I suppose I can give them a try. You can't really like something until you tried it after all." His ears perked up, and he moved away from the water to look at where they needed to go. "That's great, I am glad you would like some apples! Now I have to figure out what way we are supposed to go.." Looking back and forth, he finally looked towards a path behind them, and knew it was the way to go. He rememberd how familiar it looked, and realized how easy the path was.
"So, I believe it is in that direction. Its not too far at all." He nodded to her, and made sure that he was next to her now. "We can walk or trot there, your preference." dinyana Yonit just giggled out a small sigh. It was good to know his personality hadn't changed much at all. He was still clumsy and had no idea what direction in life would take him. It felt strangely amusing to the mare. She quickly silenced as he found the path and slowly treaded towards the stallion.
"Well I think we should walk, after all why tire ourselves out?" Yonit gleamed out a smile. As they walked, Vodka tried to move any low brances out of the way so they wouldn't get caught on he or Yonit. It was something he always watched his father do for his mother, so he happily did the same.
He wasn't sure what to ask her now, only because some subjects seemed easily to talk about, while others tended to go more in depth. He wasn't sure what she liked better. Worrying in a sense, he chuckled at his random thoughts. Yonit was easy going, so he was sure it didn't really matter.
"So, have you had any interesting run-ins with other kinds of Soquili? I have only seen one Kalona so far, but he is far from a Kalona temper." He chuckled, and awaited her response. Maybe she had met more Soquili then he, and he still had plenty to get to know.dinyana Yonit smiled politely as Vodka continued to move things away from the path. She didn't mind walking for once as she was usually pressured to fly by body urges and others of her kind. It made her feel uneasy, as she honestly was not the biggest fan of flight.
"Interesting run-ins with others?" She asked back baffled. Well she did meet a few other Soquili but nothing was established enough to make full friendships like she did with Vodka. "Well I admit I have seen a strange female Soquili once. She had sky butterfly wings for some strange reason, but I suppose the world is like that. One mystery after another." "Butterfly wings? Ahh, it must be like Ghosts, another who is in my herd. I have seen all different types of wings, some batlike, some spikey.. it must be nice, it seems to make one more unique." It really didn't matter to him personally. To others though, wings tended to proclaim 'class' or status. "I do dislike how some use their wings to prove that they are of higher standing of living, or so to say. That is just weird to me." Sticking his tongue out playfully, he remembered a few he had run into that acted that way.
"It just confuses me that some feel like it is alright to judge others just because of how they were born. Some things in life I will never understand.."
dinyana Yonit face turned a bit distraught at his words. Was that how she was viewed by him. Higher because of her wings? Something pang her in the chest for a moment and then her face re-plastered a fake smile with a quick nod. Did she really care what he was saying about her? Or was it just a phase of some sort.
"No matter what happens in your life someone will judge you eventually," she hastily said, peering her eyes back up to the rolling clouds. "If you understand that then everything would eventually pass by you. It all depends on what judgment you're taking." Vodka looked at her changing expressions and got worried. "DId I.. say something.." He curled his lip and felt awful, not knowing how to react. He didn't want to give off any negative impression towards her, so he felt extremely stupid at his tactics. "I am sorry if I did." He put his head down shamefully.
As she finished speaking, he brought his head back up to respond. "Hopefully it will be the correct judgement, and not just other's mocking opinions." He nodded to her, hoping that he could stay strong in his endeavors.
He looked forward to see the pasture that they had originally set forward to go to. "Apples!" Maybe a change in atmosphere was what they needed, and he grinned at how ripe and fresh they looked. Picking one up, he turned his head back to her in a sign of offering. "These look great!"

http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=8044349The New Additions[Kitsune, Esper, and Baskets] PRP Feb 28 07 Bloody_Buffy Esperanza had given birth to the finest group of baskets she had ever seen. Even if she was the mother, she was allowed to say her babies were the prettiest ever. Beaming, her eyes lit up awaiting the day her babies were well enough to leave their baskets.
Gently nudging them, she smiled as one kicked out at her with a fierce will. Trying to attack its aggressor. This little basket was the one Anusha had decided to keep.. A lovely palomino colored basket that she couldnt help but love. This one would be a spitfire, and Esper knew she'd have her hands full.
Looking over at teh other two, she nudged them too.
"My babies.." Rumaging through the grass, Kitsune spotted what looked like a familiar figure. He has been in lurk mode for a matter of weeks, and he still was figuring out way. Either way, he strut forward to see who was ahead of him. It picked at his interest, it was finally something new to approach.
Gripping his sword, he proceeded forward into a light trot. Breathing firmly through his nose, he kept his breath quiet, making sure to not make a sound. It was another habit of himself, where he just had to stealthily approach something.
His eyes peered ahead, trying to glimpse at who it was. Wait.. was it..Bloody_Buffy Esper's eyes were tired, and she didnt notice the figure at first. But when she did, she stood, to be sure to be between the baskets she prized and the figure that seemed to be coming towards her..
As she stared, she noticed the familiarity of the sword.. Of the Pointy mane, and orange pelt.
She smiled.
"Kitsune!"
She said, jumping around and dancing.
"It's been far too long!" Kitsune smiled while holding his dagger, and increased his speed so he could finally be right in front of her. So it was Esper! He was so happy to finally see a friend!
"Esper! It is great to see you again, and OH MY!" He stopped suddenly before noticing the baskets in front of her. "Babies?!" He dropped his sword and let out an even bigger smile.
He was so excited for her, to be a mother would be a great thing!
"Esper, congratulations! You are going to be such a great mother!!" Bloody_Buffy Esper smiled and bounded around.
"I can;t wait to see them! But I was wondering, if you'd like to be honorary God-Uncle. I know the babies would love you!"
Smiling she danced around in a little circle.
The feeling of her being a mother made her dance, and she was so happy. Kitsune looked at her, stunned but smiling. Esper was involving him in her life more, and he was completely honored. A part of him was also excited to have the feeling of a family again, one he had lost so long ago.
"I would love to, Esper! I can't wait to see them myself."
He eyed the baskets, wondering what beautiful children would arrise. The idea of children always made him smile, and that was something he always wished for with his past love.
"How have you been feeling, energy level wise. Do you need anything? I am sure you have been exhausted lately." Bloody_Buffy She smiled at him, and her eyes smiled as well. It was a mirror of the happiest mare ever, and she felt like that mare if there ever was one. If there wasnt, then now she set the standards for the title.
"Oh Kitsune, they shall be lovely wont they?"
She asked, nuzzling each in turn.
"I am so excited! I feel like dancing.. So my energy isnt so bad." She giggled. "But I am too tired to actually do the dancing. But I have everything I need. I just am glad to see your smiling face again. How I've missed you. Besides, your God-Nieces and Nephews will love to meet you." "It has been awhile" he said, solemnly. "But I am glad to see that you are doing well. Pleasant surprises are always the best."
As she nuzzled them all, he looked at the different markings on the baskets. How beautiful they were, each individual in their own way.
"I am glad your energy is alright, one should never overwork themselves." He smiled to her, feeling better about her health. It was good to see her so happy, and it made him thankful for her.
"How I love little ones." He said, excitedly.

In Thread RP March 1st Jade and Tweek JadeEye Anevay: *hisses and clicks her teeth together* JadeEye Anevay: *slow, deliberate turning of the head, eyes narrowing as she looks at Ariston* You have -no- idea. *sneer* Tweekend Ariston- *shakes head dramatically* Why am I constantly surrounded by such bitter females? crying
But my, aren't you something, m'lady. JadeEye Anevay: That's what the last male said before I -ate- him. *fangy, yet completely serious smile* Tweekend Ariston- *gleams jaws at* One less male for me to have to deal with wink
I can be spicy too, ya know. *flicks tail* JadeEye Anevay: Oh, can you? Do you truely think that's in your best interest? Tweekend Ariston- My best interest? I didn't realize that was one of your concerns.. *smiles dramatically* Though, I am suprised and yet flattered if it is. JadeEye Anevay: Oh save it, stallion. If you are at all convinced that I give a damn about YOUR well-being, then you are no better than bone meal beneath my hooves. Tweekend Ariston- Well, what a temper you have. Though, stating that I am the bone meal beneath your hooves means that you would especially save me after your meal? Why not crack such a gorgeous bone? *twisted smile*
Now that I have given you such a brilliant idea, I assume you would do such. *snorts* JadeEye Anevay: If it strikes my fancy. *pulls her ears forward aggressively and slaps her tailspade on the ground* Tweekend Ariston- Oh how nice this is, to be threatened by yet another female..*grumbles loudly*
What is it that makes you so angry? It is wrong to ask? JadeEye Anevay: What makes -me- angry? *huffs and straightens her shoulders, giving him a level stare* Shall I start with how fellows of your very own race are making laughing stocks out of Kalona everywhere with their LOVE of the lessers? And how said kalona make advances on me as though I'll humor them and forget that they treat lessers BETTER than their own kind? Tweekend Ariston- Ah, my reoccuring flaw to everyone. Even if I explain, its not like you will ever understand or listen in that sense.
*sighs*
I am not of laughing stock. Don't you EVER assume such worthless words on someone of my stature. You don't know anything about me, first of all. Get it in your head, miss, there are no lessers. These 'lessers' you speak of carry more Pride then you monstrous animals could carry on your tails. Kalonas such as yourself boast about nothingnss, claiming that you rein with such power and confidence, when basically all you vicious creatures do are slide around and hide in shadows. That is pathetic.
I am a Kalona, one hundred percent. My beauty takes no effect to the word, it just makes me better than you all.
*triumphantly giggles at the sound of his voice* JadeEye Anevay: *hisses throatily and advances, eyes blazing* You ******** idiot, did I SAY directly you were included? I said your fellows, you ignorant, self absorbed mule. I never said you were a lesser lover, but I see you -are- one of them, so I was correct in my blanket statement. *snaps her teeth at the close of that statement, reaching out precariously close to his muzzle when doing so*
Beauty can be easily torn away, fool. Bank on your good looks and you'll find no security in that. Tweekend Ariston- *unfolds wings, and stands completely still while sneering at her*
I don't like letting my Kalona side out, especially in front of a female. But my oh my, you are making me quite angry. Though, you seem to be the harshest Kalona female I have dealt with as of yet. Its interesting, but I find you impossible to read and understand. I am trying to get along with more Kalona, but it seems like an impossible request.
You can insult me all you want, glare your teeth at me, flick your tail and eyes towards me.. You are just the same as all of them. Why do you always carry this internal rage, and hate of every damn thing?
Heh, you think I just bank on good looks? That would be silly, wouldn't it. Even me, a complete b*****d to his race, would not be so stupid to such a thing. Haven't you ever heard? Pride is the most deadly of them all. Not everything beautiful is as stupid as it seems.
And what do you carry on with you, if I may ask? As someone who is completely obsessed with profound Pride, please let me understand better. JadeEye Anevay: *does not move away, stubbornly set in her offensive and quite irritable frame of mind* I don't want to be read or understood, stallion. If I wanted that, do you think I'd ask it of someone who shows a complete confusion of what they are and what they -should- be? If you cared for your heritage, you'd use what you were born with and use your so-called pride to ascend to your rightful place among the lessers...but no. You must be content to lick the hooves of the unicorns and plead for peace and unity. Pride? Pah...more like passive or pathetic.
I know my place but it seems a large majority of your kind don't. Tweekend Ariston- Who said I was confused? That is an accusation that makes no sense, or has no grounds. Isn't it obvious that I am content in my skin? Wouldn't I have 'given' in or followed like you all have? Maybe it is you who should reconsider what you stand for and who you want yourself to be. Why would I associate with just the mere fact that I am a Kalona, when I am Better than that? I love my hearitage, with the bloodthirsty lust of rage incorporated with beautiful wings of desirable violence. But there are ways to go beyond that, and many of -you- all don't consider such.
As I have said before, I am bound to an internal Pride that you will never feel yourself, and other Kalona will never feel. To be proud of mere differences, is not enough difference! There are unicorns and winged creatures that possess more beauty and witt than most Kalona could handle!
But of course, such a tactic of feautures is not what Kalona's usually desire, and I understand that. How lazy of us, to not acknowledge other things than our wings and tails.
You should be worried for your future, there are much worse things on your hands. Have you ever considered us Sins? Have you ever wondered if we are plotting every day in the shadows that you will never find? Or try Skinwalkers, I doubt you could handle that. To this day I am still not sure how I survived.
You should find your own Pride, instead of boasting in one that is completely false. I can feel that you have more in you than that. JadeEye Anevay: You are a fool. One who spouts fancy language with the intent on perhaps tripping me up with poetic nonsense, but a fool none-the-less. I worry for my future because of a lack of self-preservation that runs so rampant in our race. *sneer* Sins...do you think I care what you and your fellow Sins plot? I know of one, a Greed stallion, and he's as harmless as a two-legger foal. I'll fight my battles a day at a time and if I die for what I believe, then so be it. I rather rot upon the grass than betray my bloodline. Tweekend Ariston- Ah, well now I have something to pick at. What has your bloodline done for you? From what it looks like, it seems pretty worthless. What about using your own mind and deciding things for yourself? Now that my friend, is a challenge in itself.
Sad, isn't it? Maybe the fear that all of you angry Kalona's seem to have is that being yourself is less imporant than wearing a false Pride.
If you hadn't notice, I DISPISE false Pride. Not only is is disgustingly worthless, but it is weak. Aren't Kalona's anything but weak? We seem to have a tangle now, don't we? JadeEye Anevay: *exhales sharply, seething and feeling very much like a rattlesnake about to strike* My bloodline has come from a long line of proper kalona who relished in proclaiming their place above the rest. Its a good thing that I judge my own worth from my own personal evaluation and not what a softfoot like you thinks or I might have been cowed by your attempt at scathing insult. *leers at, amused at least that the stallion is the sort that at least is willing to fight for his beliefs, no matter how misguided those might be*
If you haven't realized, I don't need validation from anyone to feel valuable. I am being myself to the core, not that you'd ever know that. You don't even know me, but you dare approach me giving off sly commentary and shifty glances as though I'm here for your admiring and your admiring alone.
You've your own twisted idea of what is right and what is wrong so why waste my breath in driving my point into your thick skull. Tweekend Ariston- *gleams twistedly*
Ahh, so it seems you do have some natural worth, I knew you did. Though, how can you completely base it on your bloodline? You are in the present now, you are what is viewed, why not use that and go beyond the bloodline? I am not saying you should not acknowledge it, I acknowledge my Sinhood as well as Kalona being. But what I am trying to ponder at you is, have you ever considered a worth that is beyond? That, is where it all begins.
Once that is acheived, life becomes something that even you would be shocked to handle, Miss. And that is why I am being so difficult through all of this *shifts hair over* JadeEye Anevay: Did I ever say that I one hundred percent base my worth on my bloodline? Did those words ever leave my mouth? Again you go with assumptions. *flattens ears, voice more level than times previous, but still looks irked* I am a teacher, stallion. I have taught foals how to stand up for themselves and to take full advantage of their gifts, whatever they may be. I relish in watching them grow into strong, fierce creatures they should be. Tweekend Ariston- So the fierceness is coming from what? Bloodline again? Why not be fierce in one's own way? Can't one be fierce without being bloodthirsty? I have seen the kind-hearted fierce in the hearts more than blood could ever allow.
Ahh, but I am too stupid to understand correct Kalona natures. It is actually kind of nice, that I don't have to abide to anything.
I seem to be bothering you, though. I am suprised you are still standing here, but happy nevertheless. I enjoy this conversation, but wonder why you have not left me angerly yet. Its nice, because most do. I'd rather confront what needs to be discussed.
Even if we don't resolve anything, I am happy to hear your thoughts. JadeEye Anevay: You don't know me well enough to judge where my fierceness dwells, stranger. Being bloodthirsty is what I enjoy. I prefer the two coupled and I won't change it for anyone because it's what I want for myself.
As for leaving, I don't leave when presented with conflicting attitude. I believe in what I believe in for a reason and will present it if the listener doesn't turn tail first. Stalking away only shows a weakness in tongue, mind, or constitution. Anger is not enough. It needs foundation. Tweekend (( Sadly Jade, I am going to end it with this post even though I don't want too XD heart I have to study for a bit then fing to bed for a icky test tomorrow. But, we should RP again *ww* <3 )) Ariston- I am impressed that you wise enough to think such. But sadly, I am the one who must leave, I know you will miss me.
Maybe I don't know you well enough, but that means you don't either. So for all of those rude remarks you threw at me, and all the energy you wasted on glaring, you don't seem to be so angry at me towards this point in discussion.. so doesn't that mean I am not as bad as you thought? *wink* Same goes for me to you, madam.
Well, I bid you a good night, I think I would like to discuss more with you sometime, I'd like to hear more.
*blablaflapswingsandwooooosh* XD

In Thread RP March 2nd Tweek and Swirly Tweekend Saphira- *watches everyone around her and sighs* `Swirly Lovey:: *Moves closer to the scaled Soquili curiously* Hello? Tweekend Saphira- *gazes at the mare approaching, and let's out a gentle smile* Well, hello there. What a beautiful mane you have. `Swirly Lovey:: *Not even batting an eyelash, tossing it over her shoulder* Not nearly as lovely as your coat.. such blues I've never seen... Tweekend Saphira- Heh, why thank you. What is your name, then? I am Saphira *bows head politely*. `Swirly Lovey:: *Bowing her head and smiling easily* I'm Lovey Dovey.. but call me Lovey Tweekend Saphira- Lovey? That's a nice name, it fits you well. You radiate such emotions, actually. It is nice to always represent a name well. *smacks tail on the ground naturally* `Swirly Lovey:: *Cocking her head* I radiate emotions? I hope that doesn't mean I'm bipolar... Tweekend Saphira- *giggles* No no, no such thing. You are too bold to ever face those kind of emotions, Lovey. I am just speaking my thoughts.

http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=8068725[PRP] Saphires in the Dark (Saphira and Oba) March 2nd 07 Saphira soared in the sky, letting her crystal scales illuminate the blue around her. The wind was calm today, aiding her through her ride, and it was very enjoyable. She danced happily through the clouds, making cicles and turns throughout the white fluff. She was doing playful techniques that she always did when Eragon used to ride her...
It was something she wasn't completely used to yet, and the solitute of being alone was starting to get to her. Though in a sense, having some alone time was also enjoyable. She was able to do much more internal thinking than when she sat and listened to Eragon's thoughts.
Making one last swoosh, she lowered herself until she was closer to the ground.Naysha Aysha Oba was out wandering this new land the sun had begun to warm the earth and the bright colors that Zira had spoke of were starting to show. This land was so different from the desert and he was thankful for the flowing rivers and the lack of a dry throat. Oba would be an odd sight to see his head held low to the ground when he wasnt moving. Long curly mane drapped on the ground as he flicked his long tail eyeing his surroundings, he hadnt really met that many soquili since he had come here and he was eager to meet the soquili of this land and perharps recruit someone for the cause. A dark figure appeared in the distance, and Saphira was of course interested in such. She increased her speed, letting the wind tripple down the claws on her back. Once she was closer, it was completely apparent that the figure was a dark stallion. How interesting he looked, and Saphira let her eyes glow at the site.
Letting him pass her underneath, she landed a few paces in front, giving him time to catch up. She didn't want to startle him, though she made sure to make it noticeable that she was around him. Once her claws touched the ground, she let her tail knock into a nearby stone naturally, and breathed in deep out of slight excitement. She was thankful to run into someone new.
"Why hello there." She said, in a gentle tone.Naysha Aysha Oba blinked at the shadow that passed over he growled slightly at first assuming by the shadow shape it was something on the hunt. As he soon came face to face with the creature that had landed he stopped growling and eyed her with curiousity. She had spoken to him softly so he relaxed in his odd pose head low to the ground. Such a soquili he had never seen before in the desert he had only really seen regular soquili most tan in color.
"Hello." Oba replied before walking closer trying to look at her wings better. "Im not intruding in your territory am I." He asked not willing to get into a fight with a creature of likes he had never seen before and where he came from territory was a very big deal. Saphira eyed him curiously again, and smiled at his response to her. "Territory? There is no such thing in this land, everything is free and bound to us through nature. One who claims something as territory must have a pretty good reason in the end." She giggled to herself, and turned back to him, letting her wings fold comfortably to her side.
"My name is Saphira, what is yours? I hope you don't mind my intrusion on your daily activity, I saw you from afar and decided to see who was here." The stallion's hair fell all over his face, and he quite certainly must of been hot in the sun's heat. His eyes were facisnating to her, so she continued to gaze at them.Naysha Aysha Oba lifted his head from its low position to return her gaze. "In the lands of sand soquili claim territory to live. Unfortunatly there is not enough food and water for everyone so only the strong survive."
Oba watched her amazed by the way she looked so interesting so different. So...not boring like everything else he had ever run into. He blew some hair out of his eyes and tried to control an odd habbit of his he could feel stirring up. It only happened when he was really interested in something or excited.
"Abo Gnaynef.......I mean Oba Fenyang. I dont mind ta...at all. I was was only exploring this lush land. ...Ive never seen a soquili like you before." Compelling in a sense, Saphira cocked her head to the side as he spoke, taking in his words quietly. "The strong would survive, the conditions are quite frightful. I can see you are strong, and would survive."
Hearing him state two names make her a bit confused, and she wondered why he would do such. "So, Oba then? I wonder what both names mean." She giggled, playfully stating the words over in her head again.
"That's because I am a Dragon." Her tail swished behind her, clearing its own path of rocks. "Dragons are quite rare, in this land and my homeland. We are a species that always strives in survival of harsh conditions as well." Him stating that he had survived, made her realize they each had a connection in the sense. Naysha Aysha "A dragon?" Oba seemed to be trying to wrap the concept in his mind. "I see, but you are still a soquili sey...yes?" Oba swished his own tail and flicked his head in the never ending battle agaisnt the hair in his face.
"Well some of the greatest things in life are rare....in places, and yet like the water is rare in my homeland it is pleantiful here. Perhaps you are just not where you belong? Perhaps out there, their is more of your kind?It would be a shame if such a creature would no longer exsist." Oba wasn't really trying to offend or compliment but as his mind flowed so did his mouth.
"I was lucky and I am strong. I had no family, but they told me what I should do. The herds." Oba was reffering to the herd that had taken him in as a foal, but being so low in status he had been told what he could do to survive and left mostly on his own. "Im just a soquili, though Ive yet to meet one like myself, nor mental or phisical. We are a like in ways arent we?" "I am a Soquili in this land, dragon by heart of course. I come from a land that used to have many dragons, though now I am only one in a few." She sighed, and looked back towards him, listening to his story.
She enjoyed the way he spoke, it strongly pushed words and yet held a confidence in truth. "Sadly, the shame has already happened. Where I am from, it is not weather that binds us down, but a man with his dragon who has slayed all of the other dragons. Absolutely horrible." She puffed out with her nose, letting hot steam quickly shoot out of them. Luckily she wasn't hot enough where it was smoke or flames.
"Ah, a herd would be nice, wouldn't it?" She smiled, remembering her only companion in her struggles. "It is nice that you acknowledge help from others, that is a wisdom many tend to forget in their life experiences." Being a stubborn one herself, it was rare for her to listen to anybody except Eragon. That was just her personal preference of trust, anyhow.Naysha Aysha "Aw but you arent all gone. So there is still hope for your kind." Oba twiched his ears abit and raised an eye brow to the hot steam it was to hot for normal breathing.
"Two-leggers are evil."Oba showed his teeth abit as he said this. "And Zira says thoses whom bend to the will of two-leggers are just as bad. I am only sorry our quest wasnt completed before your race was slautered so horridly. A weeding out of the weak is truly what the soquili race needs." Oba has never personaly seen a two-legger but if lady Zira said it was so it was so.
"Not really other than survival tips they weren't much of anything to me. Others normaly have lived a different life and seen things you have yet to see. So why learn things the hard way when you can just ask someone about what they've learned?" Oba closed his eyes for a moment this was really the most he had talked to someone other than Zira and it was sorta odd for him. "No, my race is basically gone. Though Gwee is another dragon in this land, and I am lucky to have her here."
She raised a brow at his next comment, starting to get interested in why he would assume such. "Yes, two leggars are evil. But not all, of course. My strongest companion was a two leggar." She sighed, always getting emotional on the subject. "You speak of a weeding out of the weak? I don't think you understand what you are stating." Her eyes were glaring a bit at him, and the steam in her nose was getting hotter.
"Slaughter is never an option." She turned her head away from him, feeling angst at the thoughts. "My race was slaughtered only by a man and his dragon. They were both to blame, it was for a power hungry purpose. Is that what you are desiring?" Flashing her eyes at him, she smacked her tail angerly at the ground.
"It is strange to hear you say such things, especially since you are one who has lived through such harsh conditions. Do you wish that on innocent people?" Remembering the slaughter that Eragon's town went through, she growled at the thought. Naysha Aysha Oba wasnt sure about Saphira now He backed away from her as she showed her anger. Now he didnt mind standing up to regular soquili but the was a completly different story. He had already started to trust this mare and now was starting to get afraid of her. He was confused too was she right or was Zira right? He backed up further his eyes wide and sparkling like he was going to cry. It was just pure confusion though. He didnt say anything not that he would need to his body langue atleast would let her know her was frightemed of her tail and steam that came from her nose. He didn't respond, and it seemed as if he was extremely afraid of her at that very instant. Lowering her neck, Saphira looked at him, and tried to give him kind eyes. "I.. apologize. I tend to get overwhelmed on that subject.
"One should never be afraid to speak, I am not ill tempered where I don't have humanity in a sense. I always allow words, and never strike with useless violence. It is something I despise, anyhow."
He was much farther from her now, but it was clear that it was instinctive for him. She had given him a reason for danger, and with that he moved quite quickly.
"Oba, come now, I may be a dragon, but you have shown me no harm, and I will not show you any back. I only want to show kindness."
Her voice was warm, and it was the same tone she would always use on Eragon after they would get in a fight.Naysha Aysha Oba's ears twiched in an odd manner as he seemed to take in the information and process it. His eyes returned to the normal size after a moment her tone of voice help greatly. Oba had not had a great life and knew to run if he thought he was over his head. Not that he had run since he reached adult head but never having seen a dragon fight he could not properly gage his chances.
"You body language..." He said simply at first in every way had she shown what he took to be aggression towards him. Flashing eyes, tail smacking the ground, and hot steam from her nose. That almost frightened him the most cause he wasn't sure how she did it.
"You...gotta think about it I rather raised myself with only advise to guide me. I don't fully understand what you are or what you can do so my option to your aggression is to run. ..........." Although it was clear he was clam now his confusion still lingered. He couldn't figure out who of the two mares were right? To slaughter or not to slaughter was the question on his mind now. "I guess that is true, you are a smart one indeed. You are very incentive, and know vital signs of danger. Many Soquili I have met here brush off these signs, and I notice that they end up getting hurt in the long run." It wasn't really towards her, but she always watched with other Kalona, and how some Soquili don't have a chance at all.
Something about him was still off, he looked deep in thought, and Saphira wondered what his mind was trailing off on. He was already an interesting fellow, following his nerves left and right. Though, he looked deeper in thought then before.
"Is something on your mind, Oba? It can be hard to repeat to oneself the same facts, so if you desire a conversation about something, I am happy to help out. Maybe my old wisdom will be able to help you out again.
I will also try to hold in my temper, for your sake as well." Playfully winking at him, she felt softer streams of hot air blow out of her nose only naturally now. She was comfortable, and wished him to be to.Naysha Aysha "I wasn't always like this, but thank you for speaking of me in a positive manner. I had to learn the hard way I was hurt a few times, but I've always survived and now I know better." His thoughts were flowing clear for once, and he didn't sound insane. Which is what many thought of him, he was even managing to stay away from the temptation of speaking backwards to Saphira.
"One tells me to kill the other tells me its wrong. ....I do not know who is right." Oba frowned raising himself he did not have a proper definition of what was evil and what was good. Saphira could say again that it was wrong to kill, but that wasn't going to be enough, because to his logic Zira says kill Saphira says don't if both can say what they want then who or what could help him decide who is right.
"And Thank you, Saphira." Oba said with a nod. She nodded as he spoke, happy that he was one who always progressed somehow. She also understood him easily and this made her content in their conversation. Though, her head cocked to the side at his other comment. "What is right? Well, I am not going to say that I have not killed before. It still doesn't make it right, but there are those that find killing as the only answer. I only killed because my fellow kin was in danger, and without sacrificing some evil, all hope of survival and a peaceful world would have been lost. What is it, that you desire Oba? I am interested to hear, if that is alright. I am interested in why you are pondering such, it is a complex matter."
So that was what swamped his mind, and it now made sense to her. How strange to be pondering such an issue as that, though from her experiences and watching other forms of history, she was aware of how to take these matters personally. In reality, wrong and right was something that one must determine themselves, and not from others.Naysha Aysha Oba tilted his head a word she used he had never heard before. He searched his mind and found no answer he knew he had to ask.
"What is peaceful?"
Oba's face changed again as he thought about what she said. His ears twitched about as if looking for the answer.
"What do I desire?" Oba fell silent after speaking.
What did Oba desire no one had ever asked him that before. Did he desire anything? Oba had always lived his life just surviving and doing as he was told. Was there more to life then that?
"Zira my friend she says the world is weak and needs purification. I suppose that is my desire and to purify the world one must kill its weakest parts. Right? I'm confused now Saphira. Do I listen to what you say or still follow what my childhood friend says?"
Oba looked down his mind shouting at him. This new concept boggled his mind. What was he to do? "Peaceful is a state where, while ignoring insignificant differences, many are able to flourish together without produced pain or unhappiness. It is an even flow of life, where all is able to connect together as an entitiy that works together. It is truly remarkable, and that should be a goal to consider."
He was obviously VERY confused, but when someone is told only a few bits of knowledge, it is understandable to only refer to what one knows, rather then take in everything and choose for themselves.
"You friend obviously has her own opinion on the world. Opinions vary with each person, and especially through their experiences. That's why, it is always important to determine your own sense of destiny, rather then only conclude it as something you had heard. I am not saying that is what was entirely done, but it is important to acknowledge yourself as a free thinker as well, Oba." She smiled to him, hoping that her words could help him somehow.
"You should find out what you desire most, and also what you value. Purification is ridiculous, I am sorry to say, in my own opinion of course. No entity has the right to determine what is valuable or not, and that is another thing that you should rethink."
She hoped that her words did not strike him too harshly, so she spoke softly in a friendly tone. She hoped her words meant something to him.Naysha Aysha "I don't think peaceful is something this world could live in. There is always bad things and we must protect ourselves from them so the fighting of differences will never end."
Oba gave Saphira a calm look he was getting used to her again. His body seemed to become less tense as the moments passed. Oba seemed to think hard about what Saphira said. He didn't want to be confused and was fighting it, but he just wasn't sure what to do.
"I'm not sure....I know how to know my own desires? But if I disagree with her she isn't qonna want to be around me anymore. I don't want to be alone again I've been alone to long before she came took me out of the desert and brought me here. I'm confused I don't know what I should do now."
He was obviously more conflicted then she had thought, and she watched him as he argued with himself. She knew that feeling, having to decide what is right for oneself.
"If she wouldn't want to be around you anymore, then that should be a clear indication that she is untrustworthy. Those that love you should always respect the decisions that we make, and love us for what we are." Her eyes glided to a small rabbit at the side of the forest, but they came back to Oba's almost instantly.
"I understand that she helped you, but that doesn't give her the right to overpower your decisions." Poor fellow, she kept thinking. Though, she was impressed that he was considering his own thoughts.Naysha Aysha Oba watched Saphira for a moment as she spoke his eyes followed her's to the rabbit but met her's back as she took her attention away from the little creature. Eyes were another way Oba sensed motives and one ears flicked oddly as he tried to figure out why the rabbit was of any interest, but soon he began to try and think again.
"But.......she would fight for me right now,but if I do disagree with her it won't be the same there is no room for the weak minded as she would say. Love?...no its not love at least....I don't think it is. A herd stays together to stay safe and not to be alone not for love. Love is silly and gets in the way of survival.I've never really been accepted for who I am...well I mean you don't seem to mind but I'm not talking backwards or chasing my tail like I like too,I've always been the black sheep." Oba cracked a grin though he was still very very confused.
"I guess from what your saying is that it is better for one to be themselves and be alone then be like everyone else and be in a crowd?" Oba tilted his head a bit and awaited her answer. "Yes.." She said, almost too beautifully. "That is exactly what I am saying Oba." She smiled to him and curled her tail around her back leg. "Love doesn't get in the way of survival at all. It actually helps in surviving." She wondered if he would ever realize that.
"I've never really understood the herd thing, so I can't relate on that issue." Her eyes flicked on the comment. "But I can tell you, that you should be more confident in yourself. Also, learning to live on your own is a wonderful step in self realization."
A swift breeze hit her body, and she enjoyed the feeling from it. She kept looking at Oba before proceeding further in their conversation. "Before you understand the basics of love, you have to learn the basics of yourself." She nodded solemnly.

ORP Kalonas... DNS, Cherie, Tweek, Jade, Meeki March 5th 07 Miss Cherie Maeryn watched crowd of Soquili, both lessers and Kalona, and contemplated their interactions with one another. It was clear to her that the required lessons had not been taught, that the inferior creatures had not yet learned that Kalona were to be feared. She surveyed the scene, her black pelt blending into the shadows of trees, her wings for the moment furled. At least her race's numbers had grown rather than dwindled. Some of her kind displayed those traits, those qualities which she so valued. And some did not. This new generation would learn, and learn soon enough, that they were not like the Soquili around them. Until that time, she would watch, and she would slowly kindle the fire that burned within them all. devilnightshade She raised an eyebrow at Bairn and his mood swings, the wind made the blood stained chain betweent he two horns adornign her forhead jingle lightly. Turning Shade scanned the area her eyes judging and studying each creature.
Shade smacked the spade of her tail on the ground and snorted in frustraition. She was a young kalona indeed, and still had alot to learn of how the society here functioned. She saw Maevryn ad she moved to the shadows and dipped her head in a silent greeting to the older and wiser kalona. Miss Cherie Maeryn made no audible reply to Night Shade, but her cold crimson gaze pinned itself first on her, and then on the gathering lesser Soquili. She moved among the trees, stepping out until her black muzzle could just barely be made out. As far as she was concerned, none of the creatures before her held any real interest, save the pale Kalona who spoke with her inferiors. She reminded the mare strongly of a stallion that she had once known. Calamity. She did not, however, seem to exhibit the same affection (or level of affection) that he had. There was a certain vague physical resemblance there. A superficial similarity. devilnightshade Shade let her mostly ebony body slip easly into the shadows of the forest one the piercing glow from her eyes showing from the void. She watched the others once more her tail lashing slowly back and forth. Shade had started out her time in this world befreind afew lessers but she was growing into her superiority as a Kalona, as slow a transition as it was.
She respected most of her fellow kalona though Shade was far from stupid, she knew others spoke of her in distaste, even more so of her being bonded to Cal but she didn't care. Snorting again she lowere dher ehad and rubbed her horns on a rock sharpning them to deadly spears. Tweekend Ariston strut thoughout the forest abnoxiously, and he was very tired from his busy night with Heartless. He was grumpier then usual, twitching here and there while growling at bright things. His tail dragged behind him, not having its usual bounciness. He was allowed to be bitter every once in awhile, especially when he wasn't getting any beauty sleep.
A few scents hit his nose, and one of them was Shade. The other.. was way different. It was one he had never smelled before, but he knew it was a female. That instinct never failed at him, so he strayed on his path, hoping to see who was ahead of him. Miss Cherie It was quite strange. Calamity had been Maeryn's first male friend. "Friend" was probably an exaggeration, but they had spent a good amount of time discussing their differences of opinion at the very least. These new, young Kalona were different. They did not understand themselves as being how she viewed them. They had tactics and plots that she would not have considered, but some of them were not poor notions. No, Cal had once pointed out to her the value of making "allies" among the lessers. Of having contacts. It was not something that she herself wished to do, but nor would she discourage it. She wondered, though, at the motivations behind such actions. Was that why such things took place, or was it simply an excuse to depart from the norm? The black mare stepped out of the shadows, and moved slowly towards the herd of Soquili. She had many things to consider now, and it would not hurt to examine them at a more close range. Not too close, though, for it was likely that such proximity would throw them awry. She was not interested in doing that for now. Perhaps later. Perhaps when she had decided what to think of these new methods. Still she remained among the trees, weighing every action taken by the lingering Kalona. devilnightshade Shade let her horns rake into the tree and grinned in delight when they ripped into the bark and cut deep. She nodded her head in approval and tossed her long crimped mane over to the opposite side of her neck. She watched Maeryn silently wondering what the female was doing.
She twitched the tip of her spaded tail, but only slightly so that it barely seemed to be moving. She thought she'd heard Calamity speak of this mare, but couldn't quiet remember. Shaking her mane again Shade stamped a hoof and continued to watch.
Her ears flicked when the sounds of another creatures footfalls caught her attention. She scented Ariston instantly and chuckled to herself. She saw him, and the look in her eyes and only gave him a nod in greeting knowing he wasn’t in much of a mood for her sisterly teasing. Tweekend Ariston stopped suddenly when he noticed not only a herd of random Soquili in front of him in view, but also two Kalona females parted at his sides. Noticing Shade, he chuckled and nodded, but then he looked to his other side to see a dark female that was new to him.
Did he interrupt something? How interesting this was! Though, still feeling like crap, he sighed thankfully, knowing that he didn't have to impress these two.
Flipping his hair elegantly, he put his head in the middle to stare at the herd in front of them. "What are we watching, then?" He said, calmly. Miss Cherie Maeryn raised an eyebrow slightly at the addition of an unfamiliar voice to the silence. The mare kept her guard up, turning to face the new stallion. " We are not watching anything that I am aware of. I am learning what I may of the younger generation, of their interactions with inferior Soquili." For there was much to be learned in the world, much yet that she had not yet discovered. A fresh perspective could not possibly hurt. "It is strange to me, this exchange I see between that Kalona mare and those not of our kind." Perhaps she had grown too reclusive, but then... there had been a time to stay in the shadows, to wait until the Skinwalker threat had receded. She had, after all, a family to look out for. A family that was growing. She spoke candidly now, seeing no reason to hide her intentions from the male. He had not approached her with any sort of offense, so she chose not to take any. Rötschreck had taught her that there were those among the stallions who could be trusted, and she did not wish to make any assumptions before learning more of this stranger. This rather different looking stranger. Hmm. Well, he certainly displayed the horns and wings of their race, if not the tail. The horns were not curved, but she was used to variations there. Atrocity and Rhiana did not have horns that curved as hers or Rot's, or even Shade's did. For now, she would not let his appearance mislead her. devilnightshade Shade eyed Ariston silently for a moment and decided to get atleast one sisterly nit pick at him, "you look as if you haven't gotten your beauty sleep Ariston, that isn't like you." She sneered at him playfully then looked to Maeryn, "Calamity speaks of alliances within the lessers, where i hail form kalona and lessers live completely apart. So i'm very much still like a foal to your views of Kalona superiroty."
She shook her mane and watched the lessers silently wondering why in the home world the kalona race had grown soft compared to the kalona here. Tweekend Ariston took in the words that both ladies spoke. First, turning to the darker mare, he responded, "Heh, I see." He stiffened, remembering his new way of life now, and his own perspective of things. It seemed everywhere he went the topic of race and blood followed him. "And why may I ask, is this so strange to you? I am one of these newly bastards, too. I would love to hear your imput." His tail flipped on its own this time, adding a sassy finish.
He was shameless, as always. He didn't even know the mare, and already he acted like he had met her before.
Then, he looked towards Shade. "Shade darling, I haven't actually. I was with.. a friend all night." He paused, not stating more on that subject. "I know I look dreadful, though. How dissapointing I am to you." He let out a slick smile, and then shifted his eyes back to the scene in front of them.
"Ooh.. what to do with this wonderful scene in front of us. It seems we all have our own opinions." He grinned, showing a few of his sharp teeth. JadeEye "Lurking in the shadows, I see," came a voice from behind the group, drawled in a leisurely manner that implied amusement, yet tension as well. "Just watching? Or do you all plan on DOING anything?"
Anevay emerged from her own bath of shadows, brow raised and a slight smirk curved on a muzzle that held the remains of a recent meal; the metallic scent was as fresh as the slight slick of blood that tipped her jaw. She gave all present quick look-overs, pausing some as her eyes locked on Maeyrn before giving her a slight nod. She focused on Ariston and gave him an even more calculating examination, noting his physical differences. Was he a half-breed?
Miss Cherie Maeryn could have laughed. Cheeky young fellow, wasn't he? "It is strange to me because it is different. Drastically, distinctly different... and it feels quite unnatural. I have lived my life thinking and acting one way, and you 'newly bastards'," and her lip quirked slightly in a smile,"live in a world quite apart from mine. I am not certain that I approve of the changes, but I do not know the motivations of those who do walk among the lessers. I have been told before that there are more noble intentions behind such things, so now I watch to see if I may discover them." She had trouble believing that such was the case. If anything, it seemed like an excuse to her. A strange predicament. This young stallion did seem to have fire to him, though, and she approved of that at least. "Why would it not be strange to me, stallion?" she inquired lightly. "Tell me, what is it about these inferior Soquili that draws you, if they do?" Perhaps if she could come to an understanding of the root of the problem, it could be dealt with. Perhaps not. Still, no two Kalona were alike. She did not expect evil to manifest itself in the same way. She just preferred that it not cleave to those that would sully it. The mare nodded to Anevay, instantly recognizing her from their previous encounters. She was rather unforgettable. devilnightshade Shade tossed her mane "Ariston, there isn't a time in your life when you looked 'dreadful'" She flicked her ears as yet another kalona female entered the scene and listened silently to their conversation flicking back and forth. She let her eyes drift slightly scanningthe gathered lessers, she snorted not feeling the pangs of hunger at the moment she decided to leave them for the time being.
Returning her attention back to the conversation she couldn't help but chuckle at the words drifting back and forth from kalona to kalona. Tweekend Ahh, he was surrounded by three Kalona females. Was this a NIGHTMARE?!?
Ariston chuckled at his silly thought, but went back to the conversation at hand. "Indeed, I can understand that." He said, first looking towards the dark female. "Motivation and description makes it much easier for us all to understand, so I am actually happy you ask. Most just assume they know." It was true, he was so sick of such stupid run ins. "Ahh, my motivation. Where do I start, Madam?" He sighed, looking forward again. "The 'inferior' you speak of are actually not that inferior at all. They possess Pride that I cannot explain, it is a delight to suck it in. The Pride they express goes past blood or connections, it is truly pumping through their veins in their hearts. I love to experience it."
Then he chuckled, continuing on. "Though, the ones I find inferior are the insecure ones. I don't have time for their rantings. Tails or wings don't mean anything to me, though I do enjoy a Proud appearance. Beauty is absolutely delightful."
He nodded to Shade, smiling, "Thank you for the compliment, but I really feel horrible. Pounding headahces will be the death of me." He flipped his hair out of his face, angry that it was making it worse.
Then, to the third, who he had had a run in with recently. "Good to see you again, though what do you WANT us to do?" He let out a twisted smile. JadeEye "I can't say the same for you, stallion," Anevay said with a wicked smile that did not reflect kindly in her eyes, slapping her tailspade upon the earth with a crack. "Are you content to just sit in the shadows then?" She paused, head tilting lightly to the side. "Ah, I forget...you are enamored with their Pride...how silly of me to forget."
"So many lessers to choose from, don't you agree?" she commented absently to the mares as she slowly made her way towards Maeryn, casting her gaze momentarily towards the soquili in the distance. "And the fools keep having more fools to judge by swollen stomachs. More fodder for us, I suppose." Miss Cherie Maeryn was very much aware that she shared the condition of those swollen bellied mares. "Indeed. They do reproduce rather bountifully, don't they? Stallion, while I can see how that might be a draw for you, I simply do not agree. You'll have to give me a very good argument concerning their equality, and I don't believe you or anyone else is capable of coming up with one that will make me believe it. However, that is not to say that I don't find them to be occasionally useful." Her dark grin suggested a number of ways that she might find lessers to be useful. A grin that shared much in common with Anevay's, though she did not make a habit herself of dining on Soquili of any kind. "You have explained your motivation, but that motivation is not the same for every Kalona I see interacting with those not of their kind. What might their motivations be, I wonder..." And she did wonder. It seemed highly irregular, highly unnatural of them. There were certainly deviants among her kind, and she held respect for at least one of them. She had not spoken to him for a very long time, though. Not since coming to these lands. "I wonder why it is they feel such pride." Pride was a multifaceted thing. It had many faces, took on many shapes. devilnightshade Shade tossed her head and grinned at Ariston, "maybe one shouldn't spend so much time with your friend eh? Or see if they wouldn't mind taking naps." She was picking at him in her own playful way. Shade would never admit her brtherly affection twoards the sin stallion.
She looked to Anevay thento the lessers before them, "indeed their like cattle coming to slaughter." She snorted and examined them more closely picking out the weaker ones from the stronger, and the old from the young.
She stamped a hand hoof and let her tail twist and curl around like a long flame streaked snake. Tweekend It seemed as though each female was starting to get more snarly. Just what Ariston needed. Though, Kalona females were always a fun encounter for him.
"Equality? Where do you pull these things from? Where do Kalonas in general pull these things from? We are sitting here, in the shadows, smacking our tails back and forth. You mean to tell me we are of higher status just because of our given attributes from nature?" The subject was annoying to him, and he wondered what kind of attribute he needed to tell the dark female to even get her attention. Obviously, they both came from different lifestyles. "Its not that they all feel Pride, though. That is what is interesting, miss. Many of them curl their tails at their own reflections. That doesn't make them useless, but it makes them pathetic. The fact that some only have wings, horns, or none at all does not determine their status in my book. I find the most gorgeous among thee."
His voice sounded brilliant, and he enjoyed ranting.
"My friend kept me up all night, but I was happy to support her through the night. I thought you of all would be proud of me, Shade." He winked at her, and then looked back towards the violent female.
"What are you enamored with? Blood? Pity, blood is wonderful, but there are other things besides killing and destruction that make life enjoyable." He let out a sly smile towards her, and felt weary from the discussion overall.
Two major discussions in a row.. would he make it? JadeEye "Blood, flesh, and cries of pain are only benefits of a slaughter, stallion. I am emanored with striking fear and despair in the hearts of those unfit to walk these meadows." She snorted heavily, tossing her head. "Do you really want to get into another debate with me? We both know it will end in a stalemate. At least, a verbal one anyway." She privately thought his white coat would look better with a smear of blood across it. Preferably his, and she'd gladly try her hand at that if he didn't keep his ideal bullshit to himself. Miss Cherie "No creature in its stationary state will appear all that it is," Maeryn observed, giving the stallion a cool look. "If you value beauty, and you find it among those not of the Kalona race, then your idea of beauty itself is so different from mine that there can be no reconciling the two. I am willing to accept that there are those among the Soquili that are less inferior, and those which may even be worthy of notice, but not willing to accept that they are on a level with our kind." The Kalona were proud, strong, and generally intelligent. Not all of them were by any stretch of the imagination. Just enough to set the standard. She raised her head slightly, gazing over the ranks of Soquili with as much pride as any Kalona had ever shown. "We have advantages as a race, and we have disadvantages. Strength can be found in overcoming them. I rest in the shadows now so that I may learn what I can of those whom I watch, so that when I interact with them I will do so with a better knowledge of what they are. I can find no fault in that. Can you? Would you rather rush blindly out there, and perhaps make an incorrect judgement?" There was certainly much to be gained from caution, for her more than others at the moment. "We have lived very different lives. That much is obvious. This world that you live in so little resembles mine that I wonder whether it is even the same place. Where did you learn these things, stallion? Or did you teach them to yourself?" She did not look upon him with disdain. No, she had long since lost the compulsion to behave so childishly. He did, however, bewilder her to an extent. "It is not only our natural attributes that I find so admirable, but also our culture. The way we are raised, the way that we respond tells much of us, and who we are." And she did not for a moment expect that those things did not vary from Kalona to Kalona. devilnightshade Shade smirked at him "Oh, I'm proud of your alright Ariston. You hsould learn to be that way with all the ladies." Shade sneered viciously at him. Shade didn't agree with Ariston's veiws of the inferiors but she still saww him as a very close companion of hers and for that reason wouldn't tak a stand with or against him.
"They'll all get whats coming to them some day," she silently watched the lessers and let out a growl. She stamped a forehoof in disdain that these lessers didn't fear the kalona race as they should. Shade shook her head again makeing the blood stained chain jingle before it fell silent once more.
The bickering slowly grated at Shade's nerves and she wondered why the kalona faught among themselves so much, couldn't they all just accept each others seperate veiws, maybe doing so would help the whole race, but peace was likely to never truely happen. Miss Cherie "Another debate, mother? What is it about this time? Lessers, the importance of the Kalona race, or something completely different?" For all Ruin's light teasing of his mother, he did agree with the general sentiments she was making. He was, after all, his parents' son. His gaze lingered for a moment on Anevay, and a sardonic smile tugged at the corners of his lips. It was no real surprise to him to find her here, sharing in the discourse. "I think I remember you, stallion. You and your brother, I think it was, convinced me that flowers are the root of all good as a foal." But he did not believe that he had caught the stallion's name.
Tweekend "No, it wasn't like that, Shade." He said, defensively for some reason. He shook his head to look at the other two quickly, ignoring his clouded thoughts. One wanted him to explain more, while another wanted to eat him. The various minds of Kalona females would always remain a mystery to him.
"You know, Miss," he paused, looking back to the dark female. "I still don't know your name, and I was going to ask it sooner, but I aplogize now. My name is Ariston," He put his head down slowly in a pollite gesture. He was in no way really hitting on her, but he felt odd that he still didn't know her name in this point of the converstaion. "I guess I cannot always relate because I find my Sinhood more important. I am bonded to others in a loyal front, and its always been that way. Does that make me wrong, or weaker? The answers from other Kalonas have been varied, but I am interested to hear your response."
"I love being a Kalona, I love the destructive elegance that I feel daily, and I enjoy the scattered emotions that we feel. I don't think that anything about our race is wrong, though I find that some Kalona feel a false sense of Pride, and only use the fact that they are a Kalona to prove their worth in this world. That, is what pisses me off." He shrugged, stating it to her how it was. "I argue quite a lot about Kalona issues, but I in know way like to neccessarily judge other Kalona, many of them just piss me off." He chuckled wearily.
"I do rush out there, I admit, I tend to be an idiot. But, living that way is quite enjoyable. I have met many Soquili, and it has taught me quite a lot of what goes on here. Plus, it all always helps with plotting. I have quite a lot of information." He grinned slyly.
He looked at Anevay, his eyes holding a sleepless feeling. "No, I don't. Though, I found our argument interesting. I don't think it is bad to see things differently, I just think it is fair for everyone to always state their reasoning. I walked away with another perspective, and I thank you for that."
Ariston looked at Ruin. How he had grown!! Was he the son of.. the dark mare? What was going on?!
He shook his body, making his hair fall into place on the opposite side. Meeki Angelique giggled to herself and she walked along the clearing. The giggle, though cute in tone, seemed to lack any feeling behind it. The eyes -- extraordinary like her older brother-- were bereft of emotion. The moonlight complimented her coat far more than the sunlight ever could hope to achieve and thus, she enjoyed the night immensely. JadeEye Anevay cast Shade a long, lingering stare, noting she said very little about the topic at hand and instead seemed more content on harrassing the white-coated stallion. Such silence lead Ane to believe the topic was not something the blue-marked mare held near and dear to her heart. Perhaps it was a veiled concern for the lessers that kept her mute? Or was she just not a mare of many words? The opal mare exhaled noisily and lapped some of the blood slick from his muzzle, turning her attention back to Maeryn and the stallion.
"Good," she said shortly, frowning deeply and narrowing her eyes at Ariston. "I'm not in the mood to humor you today. You may take your new perspective and do with it as you like. I know better than to try and change a full-grown kalona's perspective." She soothed the tension from her shoulders and flanks at her own idle notions of how she normally dealt with conflicting ideals, but it wasn't worth attempting for the moment. Besides, even if the stallion did not mirror her believes, he was at least smarter than most stallions she'd run into. Perhaps he had his own methods; she didn't care to ask. Becoming friendly with kalona stallions was not of use to her unless it was for a purely physical reason.
She jerked her head around at Ruin's voice and noted it was whom she thought it was. His lingering stare made her growl ever so lightly, but she otherwise did not threaten him. There was no reason to. Yet.
"Ruin," she said simply, feeling it remarkably charitable of her to even acknowledge him by name. Miss Cherie "No, I do not think that that makes you weak. Ties like that one are beyond the comprehension of those not involved in them. I would not presume to make a judgment about something I know nothing of." Maeryn snorted, and shook her head at her son. Trust him to find her while she was in the middle of a discussion. "My name is Maeryn, and this is my eldest son, Ruin." Oh, she knew that she didn't look old. She'd kept herself in fighting trim, and never intended to lose anything she had in that regard. "I take it that you have already met?" It was truly pointless to become upset over someone else's different opinion. She had learned to let it slide off of her, rather than become enraged. Actions were best taken after cold calculation, rather than in the heat of anger. "It is good that you revel in being a Kalona. I sometimes find those who grieve their state almost constantly. That, I find to be strangest of all things." Why anyone would rail against their purely physical nature, she had yet to understand. One's race did not dictate what one had to be, although it did play a part. Ruin, of course, did not mean to stare. After a moment, he looked away, and busied himself in reading the gathering of Soquili. There were those among them that would make for good prey. Perhaps one of the 'innocent' mares? One who would think him a protector and a defender. "Anevay," he said in reply. "Good hunting?" He had only recently cleaned his muzzle of the blood from his previous kill, and now looked to making another. He was far too active to subsist on the small creatures of the forest. The little meals. Snacks, really. Nothing that would keep him going for as long as he needed to.
Meeki Angelique found herself straying towards the soquilis that seemed gathered nearby. The ones she could see clearly were Kalona. She did not approach them fully but did get close enough so that she could eavesdrop on whatever babble they were discussing. She wondered if their kind would ever be able to make any real sense. devilnightshade "Then i'm far proude rof you Ariston," she gave him a lopsided grin then let her eyes flick to Anevay as she felt the other mare's stare.Shade rarelly said anything to those she didn't have atleast some ties to, unless the topic just demanded she speak liek the earlyer run in with Lovey.
"We all have our own veiws on how to deal with the lessers," she snorted disgusted at the thought of them especialy a certine few, "but as kalona we still have our own ties to one another and in my oppinion should work together to rebuild our great breed and teach the lessers the lesson they are so long in learning."
Some might not agree with her but she didn't care, that was their choice she had her oppinions aswell as they did. Tweekend Ariston's nose twitched at a new smell. How lovely it was, and it seemed another female was nearby. The intent was different, so Ariston breathed easily, knowing another wouldn't try and eat him. Cocking his head to the side, he eyed behind him, but failed at seeing a figure.
Ariston looked at Anevay, and he was constantly confused with her. "You know, I was trying to be civil, but of course you had to take it a step further. It is as if you are constantly picking at me so you have an excuse to hate me. And that my friends, is why I despise certain aspects to us Kalonas. That seems to be a common trend, and it is actually quite unattractive. It is hard to discuss things and plots when we are constantly bickering at each other."
He sighed, sad that the Kalonas were not stronger overall. He enjoyed hearing the imput of Maeryn, for she was much different then he had thought she would be. Ariston nodded at Ruin and Maeryn stating, "I do see a resemblence, and it is nice to see you again, Ruin." He smiled, happy to see such a beautiful family. Kalonas were absolutely wonderful to him, though the actions of many pissed him off too much.
"Maeryn, I enjoy what you have to say. Although I cannot always agree because that is my personality, there is quite a lot of wisdom in your words, and I respect that." Besides Heartless, this was the second Kalona female that didn't seem to despise him at first glance. JadeEye "As long as I hear a scream before death takes my prey, it is a good hunt," she replied with a sadistic grin and again lapped the remains of blood fully from her maw then. "I didn't have much of a selection, however. How fortunate for me that some mares are not as watchful of their youngsters as they should be. A foal's squeal does wonders for attracting better, more sizeable dinners." She almost giggled at that, but was caught off-guard when Shade did speak. "The notion of Kalona working together is almost laughable unless you mean 'working together' to mean a loose form of cooperation between individuals," Anevay said drolly in the following silence, ears pulled forward. "I have yet to meet a Kalona that mirrors my exact feelings on the lessers and so I take matters into my own instead of trying to unify something as unstable as a group of Kalona in one place. We all have our own passion towards specific things...There will always be conflict between Kalona for that reason."
Her gaze wandered towards Ariston as though to emphasize her point. She wondered why he constantly addressed her when it was clear she was not interested any longer in hearing his philosophical nattering. "I told you my feelings on the matter, stallion. I am not obligated to fawn over your apparent wisdom on certain matters, nor am I obligated to even tolerate you standing before me. If I choose to dislike you, then that is my choice, but you know little about me, even from two seperate meetings. If I truely hated you, I think you would know it in a much keener fashion by now. Not all of us display tolerance in the same manner. If you are so easily wounded by words, then my previous evaluation of you was sorely mistaken." devilnightshade "Loosley ofcourse, it's far to true that no kalona will ever see eye to eye with another on all matter, hell some seemed gto ahave strayed completely from our veiws" she was thinking of a stallion she'd recently heard of that had mated to a wind, though she couldn't for the life of her remember his name. "Sad really... half-breed foals," she snorted in disgust , "but we all must be our own judge of others."
Shade flicked her tail and watched thee lessers with intrest her eyes scanning for the one she'd tae down when it came time that she was ready to feed.

http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?page=1&t=8200261#103747633[PRP] Uniflutters! (Ghost and Thistle) March 12th 07 Ghost awoke that morning from a vivid dream. Sadly, she couldn't remember it, but she knew it was a crazy one because her body felt tired, and her mind was flustered. Either way, she smiled at the thought of it, and slowly wandered across the field. Whatever went on in her mind made her clumsy at thought, and her feet stumbled on the soft ground.
The sky was clear, and it was a nice day for wandering. Although she was alone walking, she didn't feel lonely, and her mind kept her company in her constant thoughts. She kept thinking about the Soquili she had already met, and all of the different kinds that there were. Every time she met one, they would look at her confused, as if she was a strange mix. Either way, she brushed such thoughts off, and fluttered her dark wings as she walked.EchoLimaFoxtrot Thistle was up well before dawn. The young colt did his morning dues when the sun came up, and then... it was up to some fun! He snuck away from his mother for his own 'adventures'.
The little flutter decided it was a good day to play Mr. Bumble Bee again. He ran to a field that had many flowers. Using the momentum, he jumped from the ground and flew low over the sweet smelling morsels. Thistle skittered around them, going "Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz BBBBbbBbzzzzzzzzzz" the whole time. After snapping back from a overpowering thought, Ghost looked up to see a purple figure jumping around. It hadn't really focused in on her yet what was in front of her, so she decided to appraoch the fast moving figure out of pure interest. She made sure to move slowly by with noisy steps, so they would not be startled by her. Finally, she realized it was a foal, and with his little flutter wings she smiled and naturally flapped hers. She watched him for a second, without saying anything, only because what he was doing was so interesting to her. Curling her tail to herself, she looked at him again, now even more excited that she had run into him.
"Hello there, what is your name little on?"EchoLimaFoxtrot Thistle did hear the step, so continued his dash around the flowers. When the voice sounded, however, it suprised the little colt. He, foolishly, stopped flapping his wings and promptly fell the few inches onto the flowers below. "Eurp!" he squeaked when the ground drew the breath from him. It didn't hurt, just the shocked the little thing.
Lifting his head, Thistle looked over the flowers and over to the source of the voice. And there, he saw a colorful mare... with black butterfly wings! Well, there would be no sense in claiming to be a bumble bee, for she would obviously know he was not. "Eh, I am..." he had said the lie so many times it took him awhile to remember to say the truth, "Thistle! My name is Thistle..."
The colt stood and shook the petals, pollen, and leaves from his fur and hair. He also flapped his wings, to make sure they weren't damaged. "And you are.....?" Thistle looked to the mare and smiled. What an energetic fellow he was, though at the sight of his little fall, she was worried and rushed closer to him. When he showed her he was fine, she backed away, only because she did not want to startle him with closeness too quickly.
"Thistle, it is nice to meet you. My name is Ghost." Realizing he was still a youngin, not only did they have the flutter wings in common, but he must have had a sibling or two that she loved hearing about. She was very close with her own family, and wondered if all other Soquili were the same when children.
Letting out a quick giggled, she watched him shake off bits of the ground out of his mane. She was still so innocent, so watching him only made her smile more. His personality was rare because it was bold in its own way, and radiated a fun atmosphere. "So Thistle, do you have any siblings? I have a brother and sister, and I love being close to my family. How come you are off by yourself?" He was still a tad young, but since he was so innocently frolicking, she wasn't completely worried. "I hope they aren't worried about you." EchoLimaFoxtrot Thistle looked at her strangely, curiously, "Your name is ghost? But you don't look like one I've ever heard about." He reached forward and poked her gently with his nose, "And you feel solid...." His face broke out in a grin, "Have you found the Path to Englightenment? Are you a 'transended' form of soquili?"
The little colt giggled a bit, how awesome would that be? Someone who has been Englightened?
She asked about his family, and the colt cocked his head to the side. "Yes, I have two sisters... but one went to live with our father and the other went to live on her own. I haven't seen them since Mom took us to see him. I like to travel around. Mom is always worried... I am smaller than my sisters, why I've stayed be her, and she doesn't was a bird or hawk taking me away." Thistle puffed his chest out, "I am strong enough to care for myself." How silly! Ghost wasn't a ghost at all, her name was one from her father, and because of that she always wore it proudly. "No no, I am nothing special little one. I wish I could do all of those things, but I am just Ghost, though I can see why you would ask, my name is a bit different." She giggled and felt his little nose poke her. "I like to pretend I have awesome powers, what about you? I saw you acting like a little bee yourself." She warmly smiled to him, enjoying his imagination.
"Two sisters, that is nice. Make sure you always take care of them of course." She wagged her tail happily and listened to him speak more about himself. "I can see you are a brave one, so I am sure you can fend off for yourself! No hawk will harm you, or at least I would hope not!"
He reminded her of herself when she was younger, and it made her giggly at the thought.EchoLimaFoxtrot Thistle looked up and smiled, "Well, I can be a bumble bee. There was one time, I was able to get really really small.... and I flew around with the bees. They thought I was their own, I am sure... well, until I got back to my normal size..." The colt sighed, that was a fun time. He couldn't wait til he could control that better.
"I don't see them often, but I am sure my sisters will be fine. They are both very large, even bigger than Mom!" Thistle giggled. It was almost true.... the fillies were almost bigger than Viola even though she was an adult and they were just revently born.
"A hawk?" he looked around worriedly. Even though he didn't act like it, but they were a very real threat to him. If he saw one he would definately find a place to hide, "You don't see one, do you?" "How lucky you are! When I was younger, I used to watch all of the lady bugs, and wish that I could do such a thing. It must have been so fun, Thistle!" He was definitely an amazing little one, and she was jealous of his stories.
"You sisters are bigger? Wow, it is always nice to have strong sisters! You will figure that out when you are older, my sister and I like to look out for or brother." It was true, he was much more timid then they were, so they had to act tough for him at times.
"I don't see one, you have no need to worry. I am here with you also, so I would protect you easily. I may not look intemidating, but my father is very strong and has showed me many ways to protect myself and others." She puffed out her shoulders, remembering his words.EchoLimaFoxtrot Thistle showed his chest of, basking in Ghost's words. "It was fun! Can you control your size now? Maybe you can still fly around with the lady bugs."
"Much bigger! They are half-size giants!" The colt giggled. He thought almost everyone was a giant. He love his sisters, but almost never saw them since they all went to meet their dad. "I can hold my own," he winked. He would never ask his sisters to protect or stand up for him... they would never cease teasing him then.
"Oh good," he breathed a sigh of relief. Thistle looked up at Ghost from a fallen lock of hair, "Ahhhhh, then I am glad you are here. I'll take any protection I can take from a hawk... even my sisters." "I wish.." She said, while blowing at a few bangs that swept over her face. "The sad thing is, that it is hard to have that much fun once you are an adult. Don't get me wrong, getting bigger is very fun, but it is just different." She smiled to him warmly, though felt sad at the thought of her youth.
"I am sure you will grow up to be much bigger as well!" She giggled, and tried to imagine the family he described. "I believe you can hold your own, silly. Though, sometimes it is alway good to ask for others advice. I bother my sister all the time for it." Her sister was wise, and seemed to have gotten that knowledge from her father.
She moved a bit closer to him, and wiggled her wings to the pace of his little ones. "Like I said, you are very safe with me." She continued to watch the bugs around her, and felt warm at the feeling of remembering her memories of when she was young. "What else do you do for fun, Thistle?"
EchoLimaFoxtrot Thistle shook his floppy mane, "Well, I guess we shall have to see!" He was excited to be bigger, and to be able to control his size more. Sure, the colt could get very small for a little while but couldn't hold it. Not like his mother...!
The colt ran a few paces away. He turned and looked back at Ghost, thinking of the question. "For fun... whatever I want, I guess.... except swimming." Thistle shuddered, he was scared of water and what it would do to his poor wings. When it rained, he always hid, or stayed in the teepee. He stopped and pawed at the ground where he stood, exposing the sweet plants just starting to grow. They were so goood.....! "What do you do for fun, Ghost? Do you haunt people?" he chuckled, and then leaned down to take a bite of the nice plants. "No swimming for you? Well, I guess I can understand with the wing thing.." She flopped hers playfully. "But once it gets nice and hot, that's a good time to go swimming. Your wings will dry nice and easily, so you won't have to worry about them getting damaged. When its too cold though, then its a bad idea." She nodded to him, completely understanding what he was saying.
She watched him, giggling at his reaction to the earth. "You are a natural gardner, Thistle!"
"Haunt people.. weeeellll.." She dragged the word, cocking an eye at him. "That's a secret!" Wagging her cat-like tail, she stuck her tongue out playfully, before waiting a few seconds. "Bah, I am just kidding. Do I look like I would ever haunt people, Thistle? Even my brother says I look harmless."
She smiled to him, waving her tail here and there. "I guess you can say.. I just like dreaming and exploring, and being with my family. Pretty normal stuff, no ghost acting here." EchoLimaFoxtrot Thistle lifted his head and watched the mare as she described how he could successfully swim and not destroy his wings. "I will remember that, thank you!" Maybe he'd swim..... the idea didn't appeal to him anyways. Why swim when you can run or fly?
The colt snorted mockingly when she called him a gardner. He leaned back down and took a bite of the plants he had exposed there, "Oh yes, the gardener that eats their charges!" Thistle giggled, and nibbled on his snack while Ghost went through her own little speeches.
"Haunting doesn't have to be baaaad.... I'm sure it could be fun too! Kind of like hide-seek only the other people don't know you're playing." She nodded to him, and warmly said "You welcome." while finding a comfortable spot on the ground and sitting. Since the ground was warm, it felt nice on her body, and now she could just sit and watch Thistle as he played around.
Curling her tail around her body, she thought for a moment as he spoke, and giggled at his response. "Well, but what if I freaked them out too much? That wouldn't be very fun for them." She remembered doing something similiar to her timid brother, it was so easy to scare him. "I used to do scary things to my brother when I was a foal, and he would always tell on me and get me in trouble.. " Making a silly face, she looked at Thistle while laughing. "It always looked as if I was haunting him."
Feeling a bit.. old.. she continued to sigh as she watched the foal. Just because her body grew, didn't mean that her mind rushed up right behind it. EchoLimaFoxtrot Thistle threw his head up and laughed, little bits of grass spraying in front of him, "But you are a mare, an adult! Who can you get in trouble with?" He took another bit and then pranced over to the settled mare.
He stood over her, blocking the little bit of sun that his small body could be in front of, "I guess that's true. If you scared everyone away, then you would have no friends, and that would not be as fun." Thistle chewed that idea over.
As the idea of a brother came to his mind, the colt perked up. His little tail 'wagged' a little in an un-soquili fashion. "You have a brother? What is he like?" His 'cousin' was the only male influence in his life..... and not a very good one. Thistle liked stories, and a brother was one he was not familiar with. She nudged at him playfully, and smiled at his size. "Well, its a different kind of trouble. I mean, who wants to be the weird one anyhow." She winked to him and giggled.
"Having friends is probably one of the greatest things we could ask for of course. Do you have many friends, Thistle? I think I'll add you on my list as a new friend." She smiled, wondering how he would like that.
He seemed to have gotten very excited at the idea of a brother, so she was happy to explain. "My brother's name is Boo. That works out well, right?" She laughed, knowing how silly her parents were. "We are very similar, so I bet you would like him. He can be a bit quieter, but when he wants to he is quite tough. I am proud of my brother." She said, meaning every word of it. She was very close to him, and even in their older state, they tried hard to still see each other.
"So you fill your brother role then, just as Boo does for my sister and I. I bet you are a great brother Thistle!"EchoLimaFoxtrot Thistle sneezed, the sweetness of the young grass having tickled his nose. "But everyone's weird... if we were all the same life would be so boring..." He wrinkled his nose in distaste at the tought. That would be a baaaad experience.
"I have a few, Ghost, and would be honored to consider you as one!" The colt wagged his tail in a canine-fashion.
Thistle waited, and listened intently as Ghost told him about her brother. He smiled toothily, happy to hear about another lone 'colt' among so many 'fillies'. The only other 'colt' in his 'herd' was Tloc, and he was always picking on him.
"I dunno, I think Boo does a better job than me, since I haven't seen my sisters in such a long while." "Well that's true too" He was a smart boy, and she was impressed with his understanding of life so far. At least he wouldn't be as dull as many others in the Soquili land! Ghost always considered herself weird, but if Thistle didn't see it as so, that made her more delighted.
Seeing his expression from her comment, she also gleamed with delight. He was such a happy colt, and it made her love talking to him more.
"How come you haven't seen them in such a long time?" She changed her expression, feeling worried at the thought. She couldn never handle not seeing her family, so she wondered if it was the same for him.
"I have never run into your sisters, but I would love to see what the would look like." She nodded happily.

ORP March 12th Kalona stoofs Tweekend Ariston- *raises an eybrow at Anevay and smiles* Saphira- *looks at Anevay and Ariston and snorts as well* Ariston- What did I do gonk Silent Spy Gwee: *grins at Saphira and then spots Anevay* Oh, hello. Didn't see you there. Last I saw you, you were torturing some poor and innocent stupid flowery mare. It made me smile. Quiddie! Cal: *brooding, stomps into the thread* At least there are other decent creatures about...hello Gwee, Anevay.
*smiles briefly and nods in greeting* JadeEye Anevay: I make a habit of keeping myself out of eyeshot in most cases. *shoots Ariston a slight sneer, then looks at Gwee again* Mmm, the 'princess' lesser, yes? Stupid thing....I was hoping for a meal that day.
*glances around, hearing her name* Cal. *says shortly, with a slight huff at the end* Tweekend Ariston- *LOOOVES ON QUIDDIE* Now that's what I am talking about <3
*looks at the females around him and then Cal* Thank goodness a male is here for once. I never thought I would ever say that.. @w@ JadeEye Anevay: Some stupid kalona stallion preaching of love and respect for lessers interrupted the moment. *snorts* Tweekend Ariston- *twitches* What was that, lovely? *preens* Interrupting the moment is what I do best, what can I say? JadeEye Anevay: Don't flatter yourself. I wasn't talking about you. Silent Spy Gwee: ...and this thing that preached about...that...was a Kalona? What a disgrace. JadeEye Anevay: *rough growl* Don't even assume he's in good spirits because I'm here. I've nothing to do with his worthless hide. He was supposedly kalona. He had the look, but definately not the heart. Pathetic. A waste of bone and muscle.. devilnightshade Shade: *emerges slowly from the shadows and eyes all the kalona around* Ariston graceful and handsom as ever you devil! *moes on to stand beside Calamity* and you...what can i say about you... Tweekend Ariston- Now now, its not nice to talk about Cal like that *stiffens up* Hello Shade darling, I have brought you a present.
Cal, I have been alright, somehow surviving between this gang..
*glares at the females* Now you wonder why I enjoy the company of lessers. JadeEye Anevay: *snakes her head around to give Ariston a cold stare* Your assumptions are as wrong as ever. Do me a favor and don't bother to try to understand what I mean anymore...it's difficult for you and you're going to hurt yourself. Silent Spy Gwee: Hrmph, and of space. *rolls her eyes at the thought* If I encounter that 'princess' mare again, she will certainly not get any escape, I'll be sure of it. JadeEye Anevay: Go for it. I've got other victims I can teach my newest student with. *chuckles* Quiddie! *looks down at Shade and grins* There's nothing to say at all, m'dear.
Honestly Ariston, I don't blame you. A stallion can only take so many threats on his life before the attentions of inferior females get the better of him. They're pretty...in their own way.
JadeEye Anevay: *leers at* You just couldn't grow a pair and make good on your challenge to win me over. Quiddie! What are you talking about? I won you over the moment we met. I assume that's the reason you haven't tried to kill and eat me yet. *smirks*
devilnightshade Shade: It seems you have Ariston, i'm much obliged
*looks at Cal* Lessers? Truely, have i threatened you so many times that you'd turn your attention to scum *snapes at him lightly with a sadisticgrin dancing on her muzzle* JadeEye Anevay: Or perhaps you've been out of my sight and thus not worth my time of exterminating, Calamity. If you are disappointed in your single piece existance, I'm glad to solve that issue. *dangerous glare and sets her jaw* Quiddie! Hardly, pet. This was before I met you. And 'tis only the delicious mingled love and fear of you that I doubt I'd look on another again. *laughs and nudges her with his tail*
But what's this? *looks over at Dia* I don't think I've seen you before... Tweekend Ariston- *looks at Anevay first* Well, if I don't know what you mean, then we are going to bicker like this everytime we see each other. I have already tried many times to talk with you, but I don't know why you hate it when I speak. Threats will not leer me away, I will continue to try and listen to what you have to say. I am stubborn, what can I say?
Cal- Females are a pretty that males can never acheive, though. It is stressful, trust me I have tried ; D That's why they are so interesting my friend. *sneers at Shade playfully as he speaks*
Some though.. are beyond me though. *sighs* Quiddie! *flutters his wings in jest* Oh now honey-bee, you know why I love you! So thoughtful...always willing to jump in and lend a hand if I decide I might do better without a limb or two!
*winks* But we can't talk this way anymore, my darling...I'm taken! You had your chance, and you wasted it playing hard-to-get! CuterThanYou Dia: *looks over at Calamity, slightly startled she was noticed, seeing that they all appeared to be in heavy discussion* That's because you haven't seen me before, sweetheart. *flicks her tail to one side as she approaches the group, the candy wrappers rustling in her hair* Tweekend Ariston- *slick smile as Dia approaches* JadeEye Anevay: Maybe if you weren't an a** and thought you knew everything, I wouldn't HAVE a reason to snap at you. I did not ask for you to address me...you did so willingly and in doing so, accepted the fact that I probably don't appreciate you making assumptions. devilnightshade Shade: @Cal- *chuckles at Cal* Oh how good that is to know *bites at him again lashing her spaded tail*
@Ariston- *grins seductivly at him* and your are quiet interesting yourself handsom heart Quiddie! *raises an eyebrow incredulously* Obviously I haven't. I would have remembered such a violently brightly-colored creature such as yourself. I'm Calamity, and this is my mate, NightShade. CuterThanYou Dia: *notices Ariston's grin in her direction and gives him a smug smile in return* Nice to know someone has some appreciation for beauty around here. Though I have to warn you, handsome... this sweet lookin' kalona's meaner than she looks. Tweekend Ariston- Anevay, I thought it was clear that that was my personality. And every time I open my mouth you speak of assumptions. I can easily say I am not assuming anything when I approach you, I am just interested in how you are going to respond to me next. Is that so wrong? There is a different hate each time, and I am always interested to see why. *flicks hair up naturally*
So the way to getting along with you is keeping my mouth shut? I may be able to consider that, I try to tend to other's needs my darling *winks playfully* But my mouth is its own entity, it will surely be my demise. A strong personality is always appealing to me, and yours is a fun one. I can't help not speaking to you.
@Looks at Dia- Why hello there *bows kindly* Trust me beautiful, there are plenty mean streaks here.
I am enjoying all of this handsome talk heart Silent Spy Gwee: *eyes Ariston* OH! I CAN'T TAKE IT ANY LONGER! I simply cannot resist your sexy bountiful long golden hair, it sends sensations through my body. Oh, and the sound of your voice pleases me to no end! You satisfy my deepest desires! TAKE ME! TAKE ME! TAKE ME! OH, YES! GIVE IT TO ME! YES! YES! YES!
....
Yeah. Right, in your dreams. *laughs in his face* CuterThanYou Dia: *preens* I'm hard to forget, let me assure you. And you yourself have some lovely colors, I must say. I've always had a fascination for the color pink, though I'm sure you've noticed that by now. *nods towards Shade, having seen the kalona mare before* I am Diabetia. Tweekend Ariston- *eyes Gwee* Now now, no need to overwhelm yourself, my beauty is soul grasping, I know. *sneers a grin*
Trust me, you wouldn't be in my dreams, Miss. That's sacred territory for myself, and myself only. Quiddie! *bursts out laughing*
And I was hoping you'd say that to ME sometime! I'm hurt. xd JadeEye Anevay: *rumbles in irritation* If you didn't insist on talking about things dealing with my personal experiences in a way that makes you sound stupid, then perhaps you'd stop coming across new hate. Or has that become a game for you? *pauses, curling her tail upon itself* And I am no one's darling. I break the jaws of those who give me pet names if the whim strikes me. Silent Spy Gwee: *snickers as she misinterprets what Ariston said* So I take it that you are lonely? Tweekend Ariston- *sighs sadly* With everything I say, Anevay, you find a wrong in my words. I can't help be facisnated with that. *shrugs lightly*
@Gwee- Lonely? Of course not. Aren't I surrounded by you lovely mares now? JadeEye Anevay: You are a strange stallion. *irritated and puzzled even that he hasn't left her alone* devilnightshade Shade: *nods in greeting to the pink mare* It's a pleasure to meet you Diabetia *lashes her tail and winds it around Calamity's hind leg*
@Ariston: Oh my! you seem to have some interesting prospects chasing after you. Silent Spy Gwee: *realizes she was called lovely* Ugh...*thinks about how to reply* You....uh...ugh...erm...Anevay? Don't you have anything to say? ---too lazy to finish rofl ---

http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=8338857[PRP] Unique Ones (Ariston, Uwihi, Ares) March 23rd 07 While growling at his lacking day, Ariston took flight through the sky, and looked around at all of the frolicking females. Chuckling here and there, he put on a show as he always did, flying back and forth and absorbing their eyes with a golden glimmer. He was always a site to see, and with that he enjoyed their reactions time and time again. When he was satisfied with the amount of attention he had recieved, he found a place to relax many paces away from the hustle of Soquili, and took ease by gazing at a view of the ocean. It was starting to get beautiful outside again, and he was happy at how the humidity was affecting his lucious hair.
The winter was always too dry and dreadful for his golden locks, so now that it was getting nice again, he could relax without worrying about hair damage. Lately he had been so exhausted by the chill of the winter, but now he was ready to stand out in the Spring as he always did.
Sighing, he took a deep breath, and while looking at the blue waves in front of him, he smiled at his constant perfection. Johanna K. Gambino This squalor was crawling with every manner of inbred yokel one could imagine. If he could only grow to gigantic proportions, Uwihi sneered, he would crush them all to stains across the bottom of his hoof like the roaches they were.
The smile at that thought did not last long as the stallion skimmed the edge of the village. He could NOT grow, only his temper at these bumpkins could. He should go on his way, but he would not be. These fools needed to be taught some semblance of intelligence.
He wanted them to understand at least a little when he DID devise a way to rid the world of them.
He nickered to himself at that, and a lighter mood returned. Ignorance was bliss. It seemed to be a moody day for many, and although Ariston was able to do something he enjoyed for awhile, his distasteful thoughts kept picking at him as the newborn flies would soon do.
How dull everyone was acting lately, and it seemed as if the new Spring also brought tons of foals. Thankfully, he was not a part of the stupiditiy. Children were.. not a fan of his. The thought of having himself reborn did entice him, only because he could imagine how perfect it would be, though watching how others raised their offspring did indeed make him shudder. The decision to pick a female that was 'worthy' stumbled on him lately, but he usually shrugged it off to pick at the insecurities of others.
Something seemed to have caught his eye in the distance, something.. spotted and very noticeable. Anything noticeable made him happy, so naturally he started to move towards the figure. He walked slowly and elegantly, being sure that the spotted one would notice his presence. Johanna K. Gambino Uwihi DID notice, and he fixed the stranger with an eye that was alternately bored and annoyed. Another village idiot, this time with wings and horns. It would have perhaps intrigued him if he hadn't seen stranger things in his time. There was only one thing that made the stallion mildly....curious.
"Well?" he snapped.
And that one thing was what ridiculous manure would drip from this one's mouth. "Sassy, are we? How interesting. Usually it is the females that give me that sort of attitude." Flicking his tail, he walked around the male, smiling in a distasteful manner. "I am not in one of the most brilliant moods, so I may not be able to control my tongue."
His wings spread lazily around him, and he was not puffing his shoulders out anymore. There was no reason to impress him, for not only was he a male, but he also was far too confident for that sort of thing. That was something Ariston always enjoyed, a good taste of Pride.
"I haven't seen you around, yet. Are you new to these parts?" His head turned away from him for a second or two so that he could adjust his heavy mane. "My name is Ariston. And yourself?" Johanna K. Gambino The other stallion rolled his blue eyes, doubting the brilliant moods visited this one often. "I'm new to you. Figure it out." He didn't offer his name, instead slapping his feathered tail into the fancy's face as he turned back to his inspection. Death to Blondes Ares traveled in his own way and watched as two other stallions emerged before him. He rolled his own cool blue eyes much like the colorful one did. s**t, he thought to himself. Cursing mildly in his thoughts, he didn't need this right now. He shuffled his own wings watching the one with horns strut almost femine. Ares was far to masculine to do such things. He enjoyed his muscle and being far masculine. He shook his head, his braided mane shuffling with the movement. Well, that was Itzpapalotl's fault but his mane was longer than Erik's and it got in the way to much so he didn't mind that side of femine if you could call it that.
He was soon in their hearing distance and his intent was to walk past but he had the feeling that it was going to turn out a bit differently than he hoped. His hard eyes looked at the two of them he couldn't put up with mares let alone emotional stallions. What the hell, another stallion was around. Scoffing, Ariston turned to see a winged looking fellow, one that had the same physical attributes as Guilian and Vudeux. Ariston was not fond of stallions, he only had his few that he knew well enough to trust. Though, he was bored, but he wasn't sure if he was bored enough to talk to these two.
Looking at the spotted one again, he sneered at him, but still held his smile. "Well, if that is how it is, I'd rather not waste my time figuring it out."
Then, he moved back a few paces at the closeness of the other stallion. "Well hello." He said, dryly.
His head was starting to pound, and he wasn't sure why. What an ugly feeling.Johanna K. Gambino Uwihi watched with a sneer of his own as the dolt left him. "Going to sniff that one's a** next? That explains what comes dumping from your mouth."
He whinnied to Ares in amusement. "I think he's looking for a date." Death to Blondes Ares halted and eyed the two, "Sorry, I didn't mean to interupt you ladies," he growled in a low tone. His tail flickered watching the too, he rose his brow at the colorful one at his come back. These were some nasty stallions and Ares was one not to have a very friendly mouth if provoked. Though if it was bad enough it moved into french but that was a different story. His cold eyes flickered over the two as he stood almost completely still with a not so friendly look on his face. He didn't like either of the two's tones and he decided not to get to huffy...yet. With a twitch here and there, Ariston's purple eyes grew weary with veins.
"Well at least I am not wearing makeup, little brat. I know from now on to not try and respect you as a living being."
His teeth were starting to bite through his gums, and the taste of blood felt appealing. He almost never attacked Soquili for meals, for he didn't follow what his fellow Kalona pranced around doing. Though, at this moment, he was starting to feel curious.
At the other, Ariston only looked at him wearily. "There is no interruption here, I have no reason to remain here, seeing how this one is acting." Johanna K. Gambino The stallion tossed his mane in a shrug to Ares. "You're not interrupting ME. He's the one groping strangers."
He smiled with mocking sweetness to the Kalona. "Good. We won't miss you." Death to Blondes He eyed the colored one, "Who said I'd be staying with you?" he asked. He watched the other one, his wings were of kalona and he knew what they were capable of; he was raised by a half breed. "Whatever freakish thing you two have going on is none of my concern so don't pull me into it." he wondered why the two were in a tiff but then realized he didn't care he just didn't want to be a part of it. He ruffled his wings as if he was slightly uncomfertable and his muscles tensed as if a fight were to occur. His cool eyes looked at the two, alert. He wasn't much of a problem solver nor good at starting conversations but he could hold a decent one if the other was fair enough or perhaps worthy. Ares didn't have time for 'lessers' nor weaker ones as his adoptive figure would have said. But these two didn't seem weak nor lesser unless they got all emotional that would just piss him off. Johanna K. Gambino Uwihi turned his aggressive smile on the other now. "No one. I won't be missing you, either." Death to Blondes He watched him, "Don't get all pissy at me," his tones getting colder. He simply didn't like others stating what he was going to do. He was his own person and he wasn't going to be told whom he was going to be 'missing.' He stood still looking at the other whom he had caught the first bit of his name but not the rest. Putting his ears down restlessly, Ariston looked at the two with uttermost confusion. Before he could get angry, he wanted to at least understand the situation, though even that seemed like a challenge.
"I feel as though I have missed something. Is there a reason why we are all snapping at each other? I don't even know you two, let alone your names.."
Sighing, he kicked at the ground, wondering what the hell was going on.
Every conversation he had come into lately had been extremely similar.Johanna K. Gambino "I don't know why you two are. But you're reason enough for me." Uwihi snorted. There was no question in the gaudy stallion's stance; it was a challenge, one he was quite certain he could win. His teeth bared, and his cold eyes bored into Ariston's. "Perhaps you should come back when you know better." "Know better?" Ariston could do nothing but laugh. What was this guys problem? Some of his anger and arguments were completely random, and for Ariston it was nothing compared to what most Kalonas put him through. In his grumpy state, laughing made him at least feel better. Now everything was starting to make sense.
"I am not suprised that you state that. I tend to be reason enough for many, so don't act all high and mighty that you are the first to notice. I can't help that I stand for every bit of perfection that you are lacking in." Johanna K. Gambino The other whinnied wildly. "I can see that! The perfect idiot, the perfect bore, the perfect a**-sniffer!" He flicked his pale mane in humor. "I don't know what I'll ever do without those qualities!"
He snorted, then, odd voice lowering dangerously. "It's not I'm high and mighty, you're just crawling in the dirt like a roach. Move along now, before I step on you." "You obviously use them to make yourself more of an a** by the second. At least from what I have noticed from these few wasted mintues with you" He said, grinning with his blood stained fangs showing.
"Step on me? You may have strong hooves, but I would happily tear into your messy blotched skin." Flicking his tail, the thought of jabbing his horns into this fool felt like a brilliant plan. "I did not come here with those intentions, or with any others that you have rudely stated before. That is why I was expressing my confusion to you beforehand. Unfortunately, you don't seem to care. That indeed does leave me with no reason to stay here." Johanna K. Gambino Uwihi rolled his eyes. "Yet you're STILL HERE. How much more lack of caring do I NEED to make you gone?" he stamped his hoof down sharply with an impatient breath. "The sight of you is tearing into me as it is!"

Continuation posts of Ariston-Heartless RP (other post ran out X;D ) "Uncomfortable burning sensation? Well that is a feeling of warmth, Heartless. Warmth is one of the best feelings! For me, it is one of my favorites. I bet it does take some getting used to, though, the sun is a great thing." For someone who spent all their time in shadows, he was sure the sun would feel weird at first try.
"Warmth can be much better then darkness, which is a cool sensation. Both are good, but with feelings it is important to have them all in moderation." He had almost forgotten to tell her that she should never feel overpowed with one feeling, and that they all played a part in her lifestyle.AnimeChickie Heartless shrugged, it really did bother her though and she wasn't sure if that was the sunlight or not. It made her feel vulnerable, and she doubted that even Ariston could even convince her to get out there. "I don't know. I've been out in the sun a few times, I know, big surprise, but I've never been as fond of it as the darkness. Don't you think I would look odd out in the sunlight? I think I would..." "Why would you look odd? I think it would only radiate you more." He nudged at her playfully, but imagined what her glowing figure would look like in the bright day. "I wish you would stop thinking of yourself as 'odd' in situations. Maybe in the past you may have felt that way, but I wish I could show you that it is not true."
Usually, when it came to any kind of insecurity, Ariston would suck up as much as he could take, leaving the Soquili completely vulnerable. Since he not only was so fond of Heartless as a friend, he was more concerned with her thoughts and helping her, which was strange to him.

http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=8366001[PRP] A Spring Meeting (Ariston and Aishwarya) March 25th 07 Ariston strut through the newly sprouted grass and sniffled at the feeling of Spring allergies. With every new season, he always had some reason to complain. In the Winter, it was the frost of the trees that would disturb his lucious hair. And now, the newly grown flowers just had to be putting up a sneezing fight.
Everything was just always trying to ruin his beauty, though he would never allow it.
He did enjoy the crisp feeling in the air, and felt in a better mood today then usual. He had had some nasty encounters lately, but with the coming of the nice weather, he was able to brush them off easily. Sighing, he sneezed once more and continued through the open area.Sayuri_Nitta 'Bless you..' Aishwarya had heard the stallion first, the sneezing fit carrying loudly across the open stretch of land. She had watched him first, his bearing and the way way he walked...his proud carriage only a little thrown by the sneezing fit he seemed to be having. Walking forwards, her braided tail swishing along the ground behind her she approached him, and the bangles at her ankles jangling, she stopped a little ways before him, giving him plenty of time to notice her. His wings...she noticed them above all, and they gave her a small amount of concern but she had rarely known anything very dangerous to sneeze in such a way! Blessed by the presence of what looked like an angel, Ariston abrubtly turned his attention to the purple mare. With an impressive mane, his smile widened, and he looked at the golden markings on her body. "Why thank you." He said, suavely.
A gorgeous creature she was, she also seemed to not judge him as most females usually did. She didn't seem to show any initial aggression, and that made him feel calm. Any being that could manage the length of hair that both he and she possesed made Ariston appeciate her even more.
"What is your name, Miss?" He said, while hiding a sniffle. "My name is Ariston, though I apologize for my sneezing state. It is indeed disgusting of me.." How pitiful, to be expressing such a state in front of a lady. He wondered if she was affected by it.Sayuri_Nitta 'You're welcome.' Aishwarya replied, looking him over again, noting the horns this time, and inclined her head gracefully before she spoke again. 'My name is Aishwarya, and I am pleased to meet you Ariston.' she stifled a smile, arranging her face in a sympathetic manner. He was obviously a stallion that cared a great deal about appearances..his mostly, and it wouldnt do to laugh at him. 'Are you ill? Or this an allergy of sorts?' she enquired politely. "Aye, it is allergies I guess." He chuckled a bit, embarrassed at himself.
"What brings you out on this lovely day, Aishwarya?" She was so calm and charming, and it made Ariston ease up in his posture. Letting his wings fold up naturally next to him, he let his purple eyes drift to hers.
"I can't not comment, but you have wonderful hair. I know that may sound strange, but I am one who idealizes perfection and beauty, so I am graced with yours." His voice was still soft, though he had a sly grin on his face. His voice sounded wonderful to his ears compared to his sniffling state. He just hoped that he was making a good impression on her, rather then being the mockery that he always was. Sayuri_Nitta 'Well it will pass I am sure.' Aishwarya listened to his words, chuckling a little at the accuracy of her intial impression of the stallion. 'I was just walking, taking in the air and being alone with my thoughts. And yourself?' She eyed the grin that had spread on Ariston's face before making her reply to his compliment. 'I thank you if that was comment I should take seriously? But your face belies it a little.' She paused a moment. 'And may I ask, what exactly are you? I attribute your wings to a certain race of Soquili, but I dont see the other traits.' "I was enjoying the nice weather myself. Though, I hope that I am not disturbing your thoughts or reflections, forgive me if I intruded." Bowing his head a bit, he did not realize that she was already doing something herself.
"Well, I try to be serious." He looked at her a bit confused at her comment, wondering why she wouldn't think he was serious. "I have heard it is strange for a male to notice such things, but beauty and perfection is everything to me. I enjoy finding bits and pieces of it through others."
He was cool and calm today, well, at least at the moment. It was a mood that was best fit for talking to Aishwarya, and he hoped that his emotions would not shift dramatically as they usually did.
"What am I? What a strange way to ask, m'lady." He stomped at the ground with one of his legs. "Well, I am of Kalona by breed, but I am also the sin of Pride." He paused, looking back at her eyes. "So, am I strange to you or something?" Sayuri_Nitta 'No, not disturbing me at all, although I'm sure there are some jumpy little animals wondering about the large sneezing thing.' Aishwarya smiled faintly. 'It was just the grin was all. When your words say one thing and your face says something else...well I appreciate it nonetheless.' When he stomped a hoof she wondered if she had insulted him, but he answered her pleasantly enough at any rate. 'It was what I suspected, but your demeanour, and the way you look..I wasnt sure, and it is always best to ask then go along assuming.' She tucked her plait around one of her rear legs and looked boldly back at Ariston. 'And what do you do out here?' "Yes, I am quite ferocious when I sneeze." He winked to her playfully, and smiled gently without showing any of his fangs. "My face? Sometimes I believe that my face has its own personality. As strange as it sounds, I am quite a master with faces." He did spend hours in front of a pond looking at himself, anyhow.
"That is true, I am actually glad that you asked. Most people assume that my personality makes me not a Kalona. I assure you, I am 100% a Kalona, but I find it quite humorous that they must adhere to one personality to make themselves stand out in the sense of a race.
I enjoy standing out in my own way, of course. Being better is just easier."
Stubborn as always, he stopped himself from ranting on about Kalonas.
"I never really have a plan, I tend to just randomly wander or fly. The weather is just too nice nowadays, so I am happy to look around." He chuckled, only because his days were so layed back.Sayuri_Nitta Aishwarya giggled a little, her head ornament moving a little and then settling again. 'Really? Doesnt that become awkward if your face displays an emotion that you arent feeling?' She didnt wholly believe him about his face but it was amusing enough a thought. 'Well...you certainly dont look scary. Are you scary?' she asked him with a sidelong look. She didnt often act coy, but sometimes it was to do. 'Looking for mares to flatter? I suppose its a good a way to spend time as any.' The question she mentioned never occured to him, and he let himself continue to laugh at the thought. "I guess that would be awkward. Luckily, I know of all of the faces I randomly do, and I know how beautiful each one looks on the spot." He stuck his tongue out a bit playfully.
It was completely true, though. With Aishwarya he could laugh and giggle at his tactics, but he truly loved every expression he could make. Each one was more dramatic then the next, and they were perfect.
"It depends what scary is to you, m'lady." He kept his same face, but wasn't chuckling anymore. "I am not sure how much you know about sins, but Pride is the most deadly of all. Scary comes in many forms, so it is always good to keep your head on strong. But, from talking with you so far, you seem to possess such anyhow." He nodded as he spoke, but kept his voice calm. There were no evil intentions with this mare, she was far to confident to corrupt.
"Mares to flatter? I think I enjoy flattery more then most mares!" Sayuri_Nitta 'You look at yourself alot then? I imagine so, if you know all your faces so well.' she chuckled softly. 'Pride comes before a fall,' Aishwarya intoned. Of course he would look at himself alot! He had pride in his looks..or was overly proud of them. 'I'm not flighty,' she agreed, nodding her head a little. 'I dont think you are 'scary' - very into yourself maybe, but nothing that would cause fear.' She paused, shifting her weight to get comfortable once more. 'Scary..for me I guess it would one of the evil inclined Kalona. The ones the two-leggeds tell stories about.' She laughed then; 'I can well believe that.' What she said was true, but her thoughts on him being someone who was not scary made his job that much easier in the long run. All of these random Soquili felt they could approach him or 'trust' him. Such idiotic thoughts made his sinful plans that much easier, and corrupting the weak was easy when they approached you first. His many faces helped him constantly, even when many thought they were childish.
"I am glad I don't cause you fear, I mean that is not my intent at this very moment anyhow. I am just enjoying your company casually."
"Scary for many would be just that, those angry idiots have done a pretty good job giving themselves an image all right." He chuckled while taking in a slight breath. "Most of those stories are pish posh. While some Kalona are quite impressive, others just hide in that image because they can. Though, I hope you never have to encounter one of the more violent ones, let me tell you, it is not a fun experience."
Sayuri_Nitta 'I'm sure you'd be just as happy on your own looking in a still pond.' Aishwarya said, a half smile on her face at that. 'There is one...a mare, one of the first. I know of her through another mare who knows her of old.' She looked at him curiously, waiting for a sneeze and then recognised the subject change for what it was. 'I wish I could I satisfy your curiosity but I'm not interesting enough to warrant a long tale.' she replied in a guarded fashion. Her life story...if she wanted to tell that it would be a comfortable tale with someone she'd known for a while. But an almost stranger? She let her face settle into a contemplative look and turned, gently tugging on her own mane for a moment. "That is one of my favorite activities." He said, winking. "I think alone time can be the most effective reflection time. I like to enjoy my beauty, as well." He spent way too much time acknowledging himself, but it never felt like wasted time.
"I am not trying to satisfy anything, m'lady." He looked at her, puzzled. "From that comment I get the idea that I am doing nothing but intruding. Once again, I hope I am not giving off that impression. I am only interested in anything else about you, I feel as if I have been talking quite a lot.."
He felt a bit uncomfortable after her response to his, and he was unsure of what to even say next. He watched her play with her hair, and felt his own shift at the feeling of a breeze. "I think you would be interesting even if you were just telling a hobbie." Sayuri_Nitta 'You dont say?' Aishwarya snorted a little. 'That really isnt a shock, it didnt bear being repeated.'
She gave what could be a horse-shrug. 'I havent really given you that idea explicitly, you have to understand, I'm not one of those gabbing Soquili that will explain their life history and tell a stranger about every encounter they ever had.'
She let out a breath, blowing strands of her mane out of her eyes. 'Meeting others..I guess that could be called something like a hobby. A study of those that I meet.' From first glance, he didn't seem to be doing a very good job getting to know her. She not only didn't trust him, but the comfort level between them kept shifting lower. Ariston snorted at her remark back, though put a smile on his face, and lowered his eyes to the ground.
"Well, I am told that I am not shocking anyhow, so what am I to do?" He chuckled to himself, only because he had started to give up on the situation. He was starting to lose interest, and his purple eyes kept trailing the area.
"I think it is a good thing to not tell everything about oneself, though connecting to that thought, I don't even know what to ask you at this point. I completely understand, and respect that you do not wish to share. I am just clueless on how to not look like an idiot to you, and to also get to know you better." Sighing, he stomped his front foot on the ground.
"Interesting, it is the same for me." Finally looking up from his childish gaze to the ground, he looked back at her, feeling energetic again. "I study the different individuals I meet, it is very important to me." Well, in his case he may have had a different reason, but that wasn't for her to know.Sayuri_Nitta 'Surprise yourself and others? Although, a change in ones innerself is hard. I suppose you could not do much towards changing your obsession with your looks, anymore then I can change my love of solitude and quiet reflections.'
She looked around herself, watching him fidget. 'I havent come to the conclusion that you are an idiot. I am simply guarded.' Aishwarya looked at him intently. 'Why do you wish to get to know me better, and what importance does the study of others hold for you?' she asked. He nodded to her, and let his shoulders fall lazily. He wasn't puffing his chest out anymore, and he was able to stand in a more comfortable position. If anything, it was saving him energy to just quietly have a conversation with her, rather then bust out his appearance.
"Thank you, it can be frustrating when most take a look at me and assume I am nothing but hair." He chuckled, knowing he was much more secretly. "I guess I just wished to know more about you because of the fact that you are so guarded. As you have said before, most spit their life story out in the beginning sentences of a conversation.
But either way, I don't mean to imply that is all I wish to know. I am one who enjoys inner reflection by ponds or streams; where do you like to go and relax?" He decided to stop spitting out questions that were overly personal, and to start somewhere more casual.
"The study of others helps me learn more about myself." He wagged his tail at the feel of a warm breeze, and felt heavy at his mane. "It is a way to feel more connected to daily happenings, as well." Other's insecurities gave him insight on the perfection that he held, but it also got him information that was handy.

ORP in thread March 26th Shade, Ariston, Kindle Tweekend Ariston- *chuckles at Shade* Are you being scary again? devilnightshade Shade: @Ariston: *puffs up* No, just twisting another innocent mind twisted Tweekend Ariston- *laughs* Why am I not suprised. I am not a fan of children myself, the only children that would be likeable in my mind would be my own offspring. Such beautiful things they would be.. *dreams off and hums* CuterThanYou Kindle: *eyes the long-haired Kalona* You sound like a stallion... but you look as pretty as a mare. Why would a stallion wanna look as pretty as a mare? devilnightshade Shade: @Ariston: I'd eat my offspring, i despise foals...they're only good if you can corrupt them. Tweekend Ariston- *frowns at kindle* You obviously have to be taught a lesson about beauty. Of course you wouldn't understand, foals are such strange things.
@Shade- You would never eat anything that involved Cal wink CuterThanYou Kindle: *glares at Ariston, still unsure if he's actually a kalona like Shade or not* I'm not strange, I'm special. Daddy told me so. It's 'cause I've got markings like him, and firey like my Momma. She's a Nightmare, after all. Tweekend Ariston- Haha, all parents tell their children that they are special. Only some actualyl deserve such an honor *cackles* I don't know what a Nightmare is, but I am glad that you are appreciating what your parents have given you, rather then ignoring their traits. That would just be foolish. Not everyone can be something extremely special like me. Some are just born brilliant. devilnightshade Shade: @Ariston- Don't be so sure i thought about eating his - eek censored by DNS- a few times CuterThanYou Kindle: Nightmares are really scary and have sharp fangs and fire for their mane, tails, and hooves. *preens as she stomps another one of her hooves against the ground, loving the effect it makes as it shoots sparks around* I may not be pretty like you, Mister, but I know I'm special, and that's what counts. I'm no sissy girl....I'm tough! *bares her tiny fangs* devilnightshade Shade: @Ariston- thats good twisted Tweekend Ariston- *nods* Well, good then. At least it is refreshing to see some Pride in something as young as yourself. Though, you should stop depending on what your parents gave you, and find your own beauty in yourself. Then you will see how much better you are then even them.
@Shade- >.> Now I see, that's all you wanted.. devilnightshade Shade: *grins at Arison* maybe, but i still adore you *shifts* but now i must make my leave .. *flares her wings and flies off* CuterThanYou [ Kindle: I don't really understand what you mean, Mister, but it sure sounds smart. I don't wanna be better than Momma or Daddy, 'cause if I was, then why would they be around? They'd have nothin' to teach me or warn me about, if I was smarter and better than them. *tilts her head, still trying to understand exactly what the pretty stallion was saying to her* I'd better go though... they're probably worried 'cause I stayed out late again. Nice ta meet ya though! *trots off back towards her cave home*
