I've been posting and polling on my main and still am getting less than 5 gold per poll, and only 1 gold for posting neutral

I just did 20 polls and got between 7 and 14 gold a piece... and only got between 1 and 3 gold each post... mostly 1 neutral

I'm still irritated about this. I haven't polled in a couple days because of it either. I was polling with Tab's wicked this morning and her post count was at that time still below 400 and she was getting 7-13 gold per poll for at least 40 polls. She was also getting 1-3 gold per post. So it sure does seem that the lower post count accounts are being favored now. *sigh*

(in the whopping 10 minutes I've been able to get online with any of my accounts the last few days! sweatdrop ). It also seems that you get higher gold per activity if your activities are ever-changing... ie, if you surf, poll, post, you get more gold for each of those 3 activities than you would if you just posted 3 times in a row. I'm also not sure about a "timing" thing ... it seems that if you wait between posting and polling, you get more gold...? confused

right now, my theory about polling is working, i've done over a page of polls so far today, with no drop off.
so i'm going to continue to rotate my accounts round and poll with a different one each day, and see if polling remains high 3nodding

That's what I am finding out too. I was doing rather well with posting and I was polling in chatterbox until I got someone to invite me here. I was to lazy to log into my main. I went to lunch and came back and now I'm at one gold per poll/post. It seems to me that if you are on an account and post, poll, browse for a long time and get good gold and then stop for any period of time, the gold earning drops off until a considerable amount of time has past. I am with cupcake. I think I will do a different account every day.

my new girl isn't getting so much polling wise, but i've done over 100 today now and got my gold back up over 10K.
it seems at the moment then that really new accounts still have to work hard, but everyone else can earn pretty much the same as before, as long as you have enough accounts to give each one enough of a rest.
As i rotate round mine i shall find out if 6 days is enough of a break.
or whether i shall need to create more rofl twisted
now wont that be a hardship cool

Question, for those of you able to poll a whole lot and still get a decent amount of poll gold (on whatever account), are you waiting the usual 30 seconds or so between votes, or are you voting one right after the next without waiting?

I still have to wait.....and if I was a few minutes than waiting the norm of 30 seconds, I seem to get more gold per poll

Yeah that's the trend I'm seeing now too. If I wait between votes and do other stuff, I get 10 or more per poll for a while. But if I vote, vote, vote, it drops down pretty quickly. Although on my main it's been dropping quickly no matter if I wait or not, so sometimes I'll vote, vote, vote for the 1-3 per poll rather than wait a long time and get... 4. lol

i've been doing the usual poll and post, and i do occasionally get the 'you posted too soon' message.
but poll earning has been consistently high for me, even if it dropped off with Daisy, though i have wandered off to do other things today too, catching up here and stating up a quest thread and so on, i brief meander through Tektek and so on 3nodding
you do seem more likely to get 3 or 4 for a post, if you've had a brief break, but the 'surfing' gold seems to be the same whatever you do, i'm sure that helps to make up a lot of the loss from posts only getting you 1g mainly.
i'm just happy that we've seemingly found a way to carry on earning a decent amount, and had some fun making new avies along the way!
plus..speaking from personal experience, it's nice to have a reason to get the less used accounts out and earning their keep 3nodding
