Turning his eyes over his shoulder, Sib noted he wasn't being followed, and whinied in surprise as he looked in front again. Firefly had appeared out of nowhere. Nearly sitting on his haunches, he slid to a stop before her with a rear and stepped backwards, landing and standing square, shaking his head and laughing.
"Well, that was quite a shock." He grinned, glancing at the parallel path she had run through the woods.

Firefly smirked and gave her long tail a flick, winking at his slightly. "I know my way around the forest. It's not that easy to loose me in it." Her smirk turned into a grin and she half walked half strut paced infront of him. "Good job trying though. I give you that much for effort." Giggling lightly, she perked her ears forward a bit as she listened to the sounds around them.

Fighting the urge to n** her again, Sibalto matched his pace with her's and alked on her left side, eyeing the woods around him. They neared his clearing, a closed area with a small lake and a miniwaterfall, and he nosed her neck gently. "This is where I live."
With a smile, he stepped through the seemingly solid wall of trees, and into a clearing carpeted in sweet-scented purple flowers. The sound of the water nicely complimented the singing birds, and the sounds of their hooves was muffled by the hock-deep grass and flowers.

She turned her head as he nosed her neck and smiled at him lightly. As he stepped through the wall of trees, she quietly followed behind him, giveing her long two toned tail a quick flick before she dissapeared to the other side.
As they came into the clearing, her eyes nearly popped out of her head. It was a much nicer place than her little area that she had been staying in. Looking around, she sighed lightly at the site. "It's so beautiful here..."

Sibalto grinned and stepped out of the way so she could wander about the clearing at will, bowing his head and smiling shyly.
"Thank you... I.." He gave a bashful laugh. "I like it, very much."
He stepped to the water and drank, relishing in the crystal taste of it. Pawing at the shallows, he splashed some water up his forelegs and chest, cooling down from the race.
"If you like.. You may come here, whenever you wish." He offered. "It would be an honor to have you visit here, Lady Firefly."

She smiled and walked slowly around the clearing, takeing in a full and closer view of it. Her ears twitched slightly as she listened to him splashing the water as she walked away. Turning around as he spoke, she gave her long tail a flick and smiled more. "Thank you..." Looking upwards slightly, her ears fell back a bit. "I'll probably take you up on that offer then."

Pracing sideways in exuberance and acting much like a colt, Sibalto grinned. "Truly?"
He was quite pleased at the idea he would be seeing her again, especially if she would be joining him in the glade from time to time. She was vastly more interesting and attractive than the other mares he had met and spoken to. No discredit to them, but the Lady Firefly seemed liked a hard act to follow...

Firefly smiled and giggled softly at his pranceing, nodding her head slightly. "Yes...." Her tail gave a long drawn out flick then hung loosely against her hinde legs. She wouldn't mind seeing Sib again. He by far was more interesting than any other stallion she had met and seemed to enjoy her being around. Neither did he become a nervous wreck whenever she talked to him, which was also a good thing in her mind. Her eyes scanned the clearing again and she smiled inwardly. It really was a beautiful place.

"You honor me." He rumbled, tucking a foreleg under him and bowing low. He was always a gentlemen, but he did have a flare for the dramatic, and deep sweeping bows were among the first of his signs of respect. "You are more than welcome whenever you should wish."
He stood with a twitch of his tail, and moved toward her, pacing at her side and taking a rare comfort in just being with her. It was nice to have someone so interesting and charming to speal to.
((Want to do a time skip of sorts? A few days later or something?))

Firefly smiled and watched him pace next to her. She gave a soft giggled and shook her head. "Always a gentleman huh?" Her long tail flicked side to side slowly, brushing against her hinde legs and rustling some fallen leaves that were around her hooves. It was interesting how vastly different Sib was than the other stallions she had met. But it was a good interesting.

Sibalto smiled. "I try, very often, I feel that I fail.. But if the Lady is pleased with the result."
He winked and bowed slightly, his forelock hanging in his face and giving him a rather roguish look. "Then I have fulfilled my duties...."
He gave a flick if his tail and picked one of the flowers, offering it to her. It made him joyous that she was here, he already liked being with her. She was more interesting than any she had ever known.
Some days later, Sibalto was trotting through the woods, wondering where the paths would take him today. He had taken Firefly's advice about roaming, exploring... And had found it quite to his liking. Free of his tack, he had a few feathers tangled in his tail, the occassional vine or strand of flowers tangling in the flowing lenght, or wrapping about his forelegs. He looked more like a wild Soquili stallion than the horse of a settler. As the woods abruptly ended and he crested a hill overlooking a valley, he reared and pawed the air, whinnying loudly.

After her last meeting with Sibalto, Firefly had taken up to her wandering the lands again. Finding her way into a valley, she grazed casually on the grass that was still partly fresh. Soon it would be winter and food would be harder to find out in the wilderness. As she grazed, she moved across the valley slowly, her long tail trailing behind her in the grass.
Out of no where, a loud whinny filled the air around her and she instantly lifted her head to so where the source of it was comeing from. As she scanned the valley and the hills, she soon spotted someone not too far off. And then they seemed to come into view a lot clearer and she could tell who it was. Sibalto, though he didn't have his tack on, or so it was that he called it. And he looked more like a wild Soquili than something that was tamed. Infact, he looked quite handsome like that. Chuckling inwardly, she flicked her tail a few times and nickered loudly, trying to catch his attention.

Feeling as joyous as a natural born wild horse, Sibalto threw himself into a gallop down the steep hill. His mane and tail billowing, it was like he was flying, and he reveled in it. Nearing one of the lesser hills, he noticed a familiar dark figure and his ears perked at a nicker.
With the faintest thought, he altered his course and surged towards Firefly, circling her for a moment before he came to a prancing halt. He pulled into a half rear and danced about, smiling.
"Firefly!" He nicked, slightly winded but elated. "Greetings Lady Fair, and is it not a fine day?"

Firefly smiled widely as she watched him race down the hill, her tail flicking back and forth against her hinde legs. She giggled lightly as she watched him circle her then dance, her dark eyes sparkling in the sunlight. Turning her head slightly, she gave him a sideways glace. "Hello Sibalto. And yes, it's a very fine day indeed."

Sibalto halted and bowed, unable to forget his gentlemanly ways, despite how he was enjoying his wild ways. He gave her a charming smile and a wink and then pranced back and forth for a moment.
"What brings you here, Lady Firefly? Enjoying the natural beauty?" He arched his neck and pawed at the emerald grass underfoot. "It is lovely to see you again My Lady."
