Xeon had thrown Ryuk into the tree but he had been hit in his pressure point this may cause problems later on. Xeon had watched Ryuk come at him as fast as he could but it was nothing until Ryuk had dove taking Xeon into a bit of surprise. This did not worry Xeon now but would cause problems if he was hit by it in the legs. He had thought quickly this problem finding multiple ways to get out of it and came up with a simple one. Xeon without looking had quickly placed his foot back hard into the ground as he brought up a pile of dirt and rock up using aribending but showing no use of air in this he quickly force it at the sliding Ryuk causing him to slow down as Xeon had quickly jumped up to a branch and hung from it with his left hand only causing him to jump back a foot or two. Xeon had quickly pulled himself up in this tree again and he quickly made his way to another one by jumped and landing on the branch which was very sturdy. Xeon had quickly hoped down from the branch and searched for Ryuk. This most likely caused Ryuk to think he was an earth bender which would give Xeon a small advantage. Xeon had thought quickly and hard how he would dodge a next move wether or not he would use more bending or not. Xeon now took his normal stance as he awaited a reaction.(Battle against a Firebender) Training post 4

Ryuk's slide failed. Xeon had lifted up a pile of dirt which stopped him, giving Xeon enough time to leap to a sturdy nearby tree branch. Ryuk quickly flipped onto his feet and jumped back away from Xeon, into the shade of a tree, and was a bit confused. What is he? Ryuk asked himself. Xeon jumped off the tree, landing on the ground about ten feet away. Is he an Earthbender, or an Airbender? He finished. Ryuk saw Xeon searching for him and jumped back once more, landing in a large bush the surrounded the area. He then silently ran around the area, waiting for the right moment to attack. Well, since I'm not sure which type of Bender he is. I guess I'll have to change my style. He said to himself. Ryuk had developed a style of fighting against all four elements. For air, he would do quick, accurate strike to pressure points. To Earthbenders, he would use stealth and strength. He smiled, coming up with a strategy. Ryuk right behind Xeon when he launched out of the bushes, swinging his right hand. He threw it down, flipping himself and sending his leg crashing down, aiming for the same shoulder he had hit earlier.

He had successfully blocked the attack which would have caused problems. Xeon smiled as he could hear the noises coming from the bushes that he noticed around him shaking. Xeon had quickly turned around and caught sight of him. He placed his arm out ready to block the punch until he was caught by surprise by the sudden change to a kick. He was to close to didge away from but he could at least soften the kick. Xeon had quickly moved around facing the other way and noticing where the kick was going he placed his other shoulder in the way and successfully grasped hold of it. Xeon was not completely able to stop it but he was able to slow it down a little causing less pain. He was still very well able to use both arms at full capacity but they still stung while doing so. Xeon now was holding Ryuk's foot in both hands. Xeon's grip grew very tight around the leg as he hopped foward as if doing a frontflip and forced Ryuk around him slamming him at the ground as hard as he could manage. This would not hurt very badly do to the small injuries, but it would almost make them even if it were not for Ryuk being more experianced. "I must say your not exactly what I had in mind." Xeon smiled and laughed under his breath.(Battle against a Firebender) Training post five

Ryuk thought his attack would have made it, catching Xeon in the shoulder and temporarily paralyzing it if he did the technique correctly. But Xeon had heard him at the last moment. He brought up his hands to block the punch, but was taken off guard by the kick. He had used his hands to cushion the blow. He then grabbed Ryuk's foot, keeping him partially immobilized. Xeon jumped into the air, performing a frontflip and trying to slam Ryuk into the ground. Luckily, Xeon wasn't strong enough to lift to people into the air high enough for Ryuk to clear the ground by much. When Xeon let go, sending Ryuk towards the ground, he mocked him, saying he didn't have him in mind as a Firebender. Ryuk stuck out his hands, landing on them and took several steps back before swinging his legs, landing on all four. He then stood up, a bit angry. "What did you expect? Some Fire Nation attack dog that would kill you in a second's notice?" He said, almost yelling. Ryuk blasted off at Xeon, swinging his leg low for a foot sweep then using the momentum to throw his arm high in the opposite direction, almost trapping Xeon in the attack.

It took about two hours to get to the Great Western Forest from Omashu. Though Rave took this as an opportune time to test himself if he still had the endurance to walk far off distances as he did before he settled in Omashu. Rave forgoed into the wilderness. He was surprised at the lush greenness that surrounded him after he entered. The shade immediately cooled him off.
Walking a few more miles inside the forest, he could feel the presence of water. A grin slid upon his face as he needed this source to get his new armor to work. Walking a few more yards, Rave finally came to the river. Its current flowed gently downward, and Rave could hear the water fall not far from it. "This should be fine..." he told himself as he let the bag fall to the grass underneath his feet.
Rave shook his head and swung his arms for they had gotten a little stiff whilst he traveled from Omashu. He got close to the bank of the river and stuck his hand into the water. It felt wonderfully cool and Rave gave a happy sigh. Taking his hand out of the water, he shook it to dry it off. He went back to his duffle bag and unzipped it. Taking out the three clay bottles, he dipped them one at a time into the river and let it be filled by the cool water.

He lined the bottles up right next to each other after all three were filled. However, the middle one took longer for it was a bigger clay bottle and would have held most of the water the armor would need. Speaking of which, Rave then took out the armor afterwards.
It was an unreal contraption really. It was mostly intertwining straps and tubes that are all connected to the middle by a backpack looking invention. Rave took off his shirt first. His chizzled body lay cool as it was shaded by the branches of a tree nearby. Next, he put on the initial shirt. The shirt hugged his body tightly, showing off the muscles he still had. Down at the bottom was the backpack. He strapped the bigger bottle into the middle of it and snaped a tube where the opening was and connected it to the back side of the shirt.
Rave next put on a pair of brown fabric made to look like gauntlets. He strapped the other two clay bottles on each arm and connected the tube over each opening and into each gauntlet. Rave jumped up and down to see how the weight would impact his movement. As he calculated beforehand, it was only slightly heavier by .03 ounces. Enough for him to still move the way he used to.
Rave extended his arms outward to his sides. He was going to start the armor. As he closed his eyes, he mentally bent the water from the gourds to wet the fabric he was wearing. A little chill came down his spine as he felt the cool river's water be absorbed by the fabric. He let the fabric be damp enough so that it wouldn't drip.

Rave looked over to his side and saw a few tangling tubes that came from the back. "Duh..." he told himself. He placed each tube to its corresponding gauntlet. Specificially speaking, he slid each tube into each gauntlet and let it sit at the base of each wrist where an opening was located. Rave closed his eyes again and let the tubes fill with water up to the opening. Mentally, he turned the water that was soaked up in the fabrics into ice. The ice seemed high in density, looking as if a spear would have a hard time to pierce through it. The gauntlets actually look like hard gauntlets themselves.
Rave turned his whole arm around due to the gauntlets being frozen. He saw that the holes where the tubes that were connected to his back, their opening was sealed. Mentally, Rave opened and closed it and nodded to himself when he saw that his armor was working well. Rave bent the ice back to its water form and it would seem like things are still going well. However, Rave would need to test out the strength of the armor and gauntlets next.

Coming up to a tree, Rave froze over his right gauntlet. He retracted his arm and with a lot of umph, punched the three. Once Rave pulled his arm back, he could see that he made a pretty big dent within the tree. The gauntlets were strong enough, he thought, so that if the tree was an actual person, he wouldn't get too badly damaged.
Rave did the same with the left arm. It produced the same result and he was happy. However, there wouldn't be a way that he would be able to test out the chest protector without actually finding someone to spar with. He defroze his armor and went back to his bag. The first run of test seemed fruitful so he guessed he'd train his waterbending combinations with the armor.
With the water from the river. He bent a small wave in back of him. As the water hit the ground, Rave instantaneously froze it into a pillar. Walking up close to it, he placed his right hand on the very top of the pilliar (which as tall as he was) and slid it down to the very bottom, sclupting it as his hand went that direction. The pilliar was no longer a cyclindrical shape, but took on more of a human shape, specifically speaking, it looked like Rave.

Rave jumped two feet back and froze his gauntlets. The first move he'd try to do against his frozen copy would be creating small frozen balls and shooting it agasint the enemy.
Rave stuck out both his arms and unsealed the opening to the tube that lead from his wrist to the backpack. Inside those small tubes, Rave created a small frozen ball in each tube. It took the shape of the tube it was holding in, however, it was a bit smaller so that when it exits, it would not create friction with the tube and break it.
Rave curved his wrist downwards, capturing some air withing the tube and closing the opening quickly. By doing this he would somewhat pressurize the tube, meaning that it was building potential energy. Quickly, Rave flung his right wrist up and the frozen ball (the size of a small marble) exited the tube and was sent flying. However, it only flew one feet away from Rave. "Okay, a little bit more pressure...." He said to himself applying more to the other hand.
Rave imitated the previous motion and again the the small marble shape frozen ball left its home and flew out. This time having enough power to project itself towards the ice clone, BUT not directly hitting it. "And now I need to aim better...great..."he said to himself while reloading.

Minutes past and it would seem like his resource has gone empty. Plus he was panting as well. Rave was out of water and pretty much out of energy. However, it was all good. He managed to get his aim much better than he originially started, however, it is still far off from where he wanted it to be. And that was only the first move he has combined with the new armor.
Nonetheless, he walked over to the river bank where his bag was. As he past the frozen statue of himself, he couldn't but help smile the fact that there were so many holes that went through it. Upon coming near his bag, he took off the backpack and the gaunlet, but kept the shirt on. He reached into his bag and took out a brown bag. In there was his lunch for the day and the drink, which of course was water.
With a sigh, he took a bite out of his sandwich and looked out where the river was flowing. The sound of the waterfall calmed him and the atmosphere became more relaxing. After he finished, he planned to take a dip and meditate under the waterfall, but before that, he saw an old relic within his bag. It was a scroll, no, it was the scroll. The scroll his master gave him right before he died.
Thinking about that brought back painful memories for Rave. Memories he didn't want to remember - memories he wanted to forget. But he couldn't, not until his promise to his master was fulfilled. Rave took the scroll from his bag. He had forgotten that it was there where he hid it. It felt nostolgic to him just letting it sit there on his palms.
Slowly, he opened it and looked at its contents. He had forgotten what was in there, the basics of water bending, a few advance moves, and most of all his teacher's proverbs. Proverbs Rave took to heart and never forgot and probably won't ever forget. He smiled to himself remembering trying to do an advance move while still trying to learn basics.
He remembered that time very well. [Training 27/95]

Xeon had missed the throw. Xeon was getting unpatient now and was pissed aswell. Xeon had noticed the landing Ryuk state his words aloud. Xeon smiled and laughed. "Oh boy....." Xeon had saw him running at him but was ready for it as he came running and sent a punch and kick. Xeon jumped over the kick but was hit by the punch and quickly he went through the air. While Xeon was in tre air he had quickly used airbending to bring a rock from behind him that Ryuk wouldn't see until it was past him but it was covered by his back and he was only two feet away from Ryuk as the boulder was going 20 mph. Xeon had quickly airbended his way over the rock as it came soaring straight at Ryuk's face.(Battle against a Firebender) Training post 6

Flashback It was only a few months after his master found him. They were in a setting just like where Rave was at now, on the river bank of an earth nation forest. They had been camping out for a week already and Rave just learned how to bait their meals. However, it was during that time of day where his master would teach him water bending.
But, that day was different. His master had gone out to the wilderness alone to get a huge meal to celebrate Rave's accomplishing of the first three lessons. Rave, however, was cocky and thought to himself that he is finally ready to start advance moves such as turning water into ice and steam. So while his master was away, he went into the tent and took his master's scroll. He read it quickly and came out to the river.
Just like the basics, he formed a huge water ball in mid air. He tried to do what the scroll said, but with a misguided hand movment, he splashed himself with the water ball and then turned it into ice. He couldn't move at all and fell into the river where it started to push him down the current.
Rave tried his best to revert back into normal, but his fear got a hold of him and he was panicking. Soon, from the ice cube he was in, Rave could hear the river turning into a waterfall. He prayed and prayed for his master to come and save him, yet he was not there.
Within seconds, he could feel the ice and himself who was stuck in it, fall. However, Rave felt something else. It was as if he was caught. But within moments time, he felt a big thud and then, the ice was gone. The sun was shining brightly and Rave couldn't see who saved him, but the voice was enough for Rave to figure it out. "Pretty dumb of you boy..." the man said, though it a light hearted fashion.
Rave looked like he was about to cry in greatfulness, but the man started laughing. A few teardrops ran down his cheek, but Rave wiped them away and joined in. "Lesson number four deals with humility and being humble. I wasn't going to go in it until tomorrow, but I guess you wanted to learn it so soon that you'd go and put yourself into this kind of situation...."
Rave was silent for a while and looked down at the dirt below him. "Rave, be weary of pride and cockiness. It is not a friend of any bender. Never ever feel like you are a better bender than anyone else. Some may be more skilled, but that is all. In this world, we are all equals. Though our skills and outsides differ, inside we are still human."
With that, Rave's master left his pupil where he sat. Rave could not but feel stupid to think of himself as an advance waterbender when he only knew the basics of the basics. "Come Rave, our dinner awaits us...." Rave wiped away a few more tears and got up. "Yes master..." He replied after dusting himself off and leaving. Flashback ends
In the present
Rave sat there, a few tear drops had landed on the ground. The ground soaked most of it, turning colors from black and back to brown. Rave wiped away the tears and looked once again to the river. He smiled to himself knowing the fact that in the years that followed, Rave was able to master that technique and a bunch more.
Rave stood up and took his things. He threw it over the cliff and saw that it had landed safetly in a berry bush. Taking off his pants and only wearing shorts, he jumped over the cliff himself and into the water. As he dove, he couldn't but help wonder, no, hoped, that his master would be proud of him, wherever he may be in the spirit world.

Tekagami now appeared in the western forest of the earth kingdom. Confused about his whereabouts he decided to look for any sign of life. Which wasn't that hard to find. Eventually he saw an airbender and an earthbender dueling. Smirking Tekagami decided he would walked over near them and wait for the match to be over before speaking to either one of them. Approaching the two Tekagami made sure to keep his distance because he didn't want to get caught in the cross fire of thier duel.

Ryuk smiled, his attack tactics were starting to take effect. The sweep had been avoided, as planned and Xeon was caught by the punch, being shot through the air. Ryuk's ear perked slightly as he heard someone nearby, knowing it wasn't Xeon. He looked in the direction of the noise and saw a boy, dressed in Water Tribe, garb. "So, we have a spectator..." He said to himself outloud. Ryuk then brought his attention back to Xeon, who quickly shot a medium sized rock at him. Ryuk smiled, starting to understand how Xeon was using both Air and Earthbending. The moments following seemed to go by in slow motion. Ryuk took in a deep breath, pulling back his arm as his chest inflated. He exhaled as he thrusted his hand forward, shooting a vicious bolt of fire at the rock, slowing it and heating it up. He took a step forward, opening his hand and grabbing the incoming, but slowed down, rock spinning around and using momentum to launch the heated rock at Xeon, who had used Airbending to get above Ryuk. Though the rock had been heated up, it barely burned his hand due to his gloves. Ryuk mentally smiled, wondering how Xeon would react to the counter, and was already making up new strategies.

Xeon had fell back and regained his balance. Xeon had seen the rock caught by Ryuk now and began to be melted. Xeon then also noticed the other person nearby which was definantly not his little new lizard. It was someone else who is watching them. Xeon noticed Ryuk say something and agreed. "Seems so huh...." Xeon had quickly jumped up high using his air bending to quickly maenuver over the heated-rock coming directly at him. Xeon had grasped his hand around the branch and quickly flipped over it. Xeon came down from ten feet in the air only about 10 feet from Ryuk as he came down with his leg shoot out ahead of him. Xeon smashed into the ground as a medium-sized wave of wind came out. Quickly thinking Xeon did a small spin rising dust around both of them and the spectator.(Battle against a Firebender) Training post 7
