She didn't look at him and stopped for a moment. She just stared at the computer dials and then answered. "Maybe a bit of both."

She didn't say anything and just kept looking at the computer. She didn't feel like she was ready. She felt scared. She didn't move and just felt his hands on her shoulders and his head against hers.

She remembered what Kano said about Smash's bloodlust, but didn't want to bring it up. Instead she asked something different. "You'll be alright? Nothing's going to happen to you, right?"

She just walked towards the door. "I'm fine, Matt. I think I just want to sleep." She opened the door and walked outside.

Mari stretched a bit and let out a deep sigh. She opened a portal to her realm. "Come on. Let's just get some sleep. I'll feel better in the morning." She looked at him and gave him a small smile before she walked through and left the portal open for him.
