"Oh, haha yeah, the scenery is nice here." he replied, berry juice splattered over his jaw. "Thanks..?" Dominic laughed, walking toward the waterside, head lowering down to take a drink. Slowly but surely, he lapped up water, and accidentally fell into the water.
(so sorry about the absense.. ewe; I was buried in homework!)

Ebony paws stepped softly across the ground, trailing darkness behind them. The black faded into a lacelike mix of amber and ebony...thus the tigress' name. Amber Lace nosed a bit at the ground with a night-dark muzzle. She looked up, mane falling across her eyes as she searched for others of her kind.

((Wow, I haven't posted in so long, here it goes))
Suni popped one eye open from the inside of the cave. Outside the mornings sun rays began to shine inwards, giving the cave and eary glow. The lioness let loose a large yawn, following up with a low, rumbling growl for added effect. Around her various other lions slept as well, but one in particular was missing. His scent was very feint and she wondered why he had left. He had been interesting, and Suni wanted to learn a tad more. So, she shoved her nose into eh cold, dank ground of the cave and attempted to catch the hard scent.
Her nose was not as adapted to smells as that of a wolf, but still more accute than many an animal and it served her well. Finding her searches complete she stepped out into the suns rays, temporalily blinding herself. She turned her head to the side to shield her eyes from the bright light and stepped back a few inches, unsure if she should continue. Finding little reason not to, she step headlong into the morning and began her search once more.
Though the trail was faint as first, it began to get much stronger and soon she was sure she would not lose it. Her thoughts were confirmed when the sounds of voices reached her sensitive ears. She pricked them up. Dominic was iwth another lioness, talking to her and apparently eating berries. Suni had never tried such a thing before, but for now she was wary, and did not want to approach.
Dominic fell into the water before her eyes, and all toughts of wariness were lost. She thought he had done this thing on purpose and the glee of jumping in the water after him was just to much. She lept out of her hiding place in the brush and made a loud splush as she plunged in after him. She swam around for a short time and then came to rest on the bank, shaking herself of the water on her coat, with her feet still submerged. Her face was a wide grin as she looked from Dominic to the new lioness, a bit wary yet again.

Looking embarrased, Dominic hopped out of the water, shaking his coat attemptedly-dry. "Ahem.." he said, looking around as if nothing had happened. His eyes stopped at Suni. "Oh..hello there..?" His tail swished around as he could hear birds chirping in the treetops.
He looked at Suni with a friendly grin upon his muzzle. He didn't really think there were so many of his kind here. His ears folded back, but flickered every once in a while. Such a wonderful place this was..how lucky he was born here.
