A lone heli came floating down to the island. Ambrose Phoenix looked down at the island.
"Job?" he asked the pilot.
"Ya yer 'pose ta go dewn der 'n find da contact. Find 'im 'n git da mone'"
Ambrose didn't respond back. He knew what was happening, but he did see that there were facilites down there. It looked like a good spot to live in anycase. Not to mention the lack of other people shooting at him was a plus. Though as it always has been he never let the pilot see his excitment to finally get away from the mob.
Once the chopper finally landed, he stepped out, he had to crawl most of the way away from the chopper though, to avoid being decapitated by the whirling blades. once he could stand, his massive eight foot, ten inch frame towered over the pilot.
"Go" he said turning around to the pilot. The pilot was only too happy to oblige. Soon the heli was gone and Mr. Phoenix kept walking foward.

Malic shivered in the night, partly from being soaked and cold and partly from fear. What the hell was I thinking? In the sea at night! And the guy didn't need help anyway. Wouldn't be surprised if I catch pneumonia now. He thought grimly.
Malic was about to reply to Nick's question when he noticed he wasn't walking beside him, he turned to look behind, but only saw the strange costumed man. Frowning he looked down at a movement and half expected to see a dog trotting to heel, instead Malic didn't know what it was that was shadowed in darkness, so stopped.
"Uh, is that you?" The confused man asked, now realising he didn't even ask his name. "On... fours?" He gave a glance to the odd man, wondering if they were in it together to prank him, completely forgetting what they did to you here.
They were still too far from the village to be lit by any lights, but they cast enough to see people's outlines, nobody was about except the soft sound of helicopter blades in the distance coming closer.

“Yeah, of it’s it me” he said, as he got closer to Malic to compensate for his inferior human sight. He sat himself down in the exact same way a cat would, tail curling back and forth behind him as always. “Why wouldn’t be?” he added with a slight smile.
His sit down was short lived, his back was beginning to ach, though he could run like that, his body was still not entirely used to it. He stood back up, stretching his back in an arch, as he gave off a soft “meow” noise.

Ambrose Phoenix started walking away from the landing spot. He kept walking towards the forest, until he was in it, and kept walking past that. He nearly had to crawl through though. Soon he heard the spashing of waves. He never seen the ocean before.
"Boring."
Looking over he saw what looked to be a sea monster coming out of the ocean, and a man and his dog walking towards the village.
"Warning!" he shouted out. He ran to a point between the monster and the man.

The piece of cloth, Malic assumed it was earlier, started flicking and moving like it was alive. Or like a tail.
His mouth was open, eyebrows furrowed now really studying the lad in the dim light. The pointed triangles that, Malic assumed, was some sort of weird hat now looked like real, pointed ears and the guy was definately hairier then most normal people.
The memory of the girl he spoke to yesterday came back to him, her sad face as she told him she was turning into some sort of bird and he too would become an animal. He didn't believe her at first, but she didn't try to convince him, her eyes were enough to say she was telling the truth.
He shivered again, his lip trembled from the chill in the air, then Nick stood up and meowed. Malic flinched and stepped back, a shuddered breath released as his blood ran cold "Don't." He growled, memories of his brothers taunting him with catcalls.
A sharp shout of warning spun the frightened man around to face another bloke that was running between them and the oddly dressed man, assuming he was oddly dressed as his previous assumptions had been way off mark.
"Hey!" He called to Picho as he dodged past. Why was that man after him? What did warning mean anyway? And what was his furry companion? That last question he could do without being answered.

Nicholas watched, with an almost natural calmness about him, Picho run past being chased by another unfamiliar face. Tonight was certainly shaping up to be quite an eventful night, he though, chuckling inside his head.
Though, it wasn’t long before his attention turned back to Malic. “Don’t what?” he asked, still with this serene look on his face. Before Malic could answer, however, he yawned loudly displaying his new fang like front teeth. “Urgh, I’m getting sleepy already?”

Even in the envoloped darkness, he could see the fangs. His stomach lurched, his face, if the colour could be seen in the darkness, paled.
"Uh," He squeaked, his breath caught in his throat, the stink of fear flowing from his pores. "Don't m-meow. I don't like c-cats." he muttered looking away, this has to be a joke, surely he wasn't... He couldn't finish the flow of thought as he stepped back again.
His wet clothes clung to his skin, he couldn't be sure if he was shivering from the cold or the fear. I'm not that scared of cats. He thought angerly, but a human sized one made his skin crawl.

Picho bolted past, Ambrose very close behind. In what seemed a single jump, but was really several quick jumps between to trees, Picho was now higher then the giant could reach.
As Ambrose got closer, Picho jumped over the tops of the trees, and hit the ground running, after a slight roll to lessen the fall.

Ambrose was used to people running away from him. This thing was no exception. With easy he would have caught up with it, but he had noticed the man with the dog say something to the monster as it ran by him leaving a case.
More importantly, the dog didnt seem to be a dog. It started to bother him as he ran into the forest after the "sea monster" Soon he slowed down a lot as Picho jumped over head, and began walking towards the two others. Getting closer he could see the dog less and less resembled that of a dog, as well at they could see a stick jutting out his arm.
"Name?" his voice boomed.

“Oh…er sorry, I can’t help it…I” he trailed off; judging by Malic’s reaction, he didn’t know what was going on, on the Island. “I’m a cat after all” he finished sighing, he really didn’t want to admit it, Malic seemed to have more of a fear of cats than a dislike for them.
Before he would have to disclose what was going on, on the island, he heard aloud voice from behind. “Huh” he spun around to get a good look at it's source, his ears twitched as his natural inquisitiveness was perked.

Noticing that the dog was more of a cat, and at that more of a human and speaking, Ambrose for an instance let his "I'm a statue of doom!" act drop.
Partialy out of fear, partial out of wonderment, and partialy out of pity.
'such a poor creature are you.' would be what he wanted to say. But the instant ended before he could get the sentance out. Instead he uttered only two words. The, and another refering to the place in which all bad souls are laid to rest.

Malic's fear of cats could be liken to a person's fear of spiders and speaking to a human/spider hybrid would cause anyone to have nightmares. For Malic, even talking cartoon cats made him quickly switch the channel over or leave the room. It was an odd fear and like many others completely irrational and unexplainable. To be told now that this lad was indeed a cat didn't ease it.
Malic stared at Nick, mouth open in shock but really he knew it was coming. What was worse, finding out that he was trapped on an island where the people were turning into animals, or that your worse nightmare was among them?
"She was right..." He managed to whisper, but cats of all things! If he believed her, he may have not been too eager to approach these people, or even left his duplex.
Body tensed, Malic shuffled back, it's the eyes that freaked him out worse. Like they were staring into his soul, like they knew something he didn't. The man wasn't in the right frame of mind to steady his nerves like usual, but this wasn't like anything usual that had happened before.
Name?
He jumped out of his skin and stumbled backwards, arse landing heavily on the soft sand from the booming voice. He sat sprawled, dumbstruck and staring between the catman and the stranger, throat tightened preventing anything coherent to escape from his lips.

Sensing the fear that the man was having towards the cat man, Ambrose went into action. Or rather his body went into action. He rushed into the area between them, kneeling slighting to actually be able to reach the cat-man on the floor.
His right arm went back, stick still stuck in it, tightinging into a fist.
His eyes showed no sign of bloodthirst however, his intire face was the same as it had always been.
"I'll Protect"
You can take the bodyguard out of the service, but he will always be a body guard.

Like wise, Picho sprang into action. He first reached for a dagger, but they wear missing. So he attempted to extend his claw bracer. Missing as well.
He saw the arm tense up, and he began to run towards the group, the red glass giving his kitsune mask an almost demonic look. Well, run wasnt quite the right term for it. Much like how nicolaus done before, Picho was almost running all all fours. However this wasnt due to any ability to run faster that way. Sand was just really hard to run on when actually trying to run.
(too many people typing in black now, so im going to red, since thats like pichos color.)
