It could. I mean, Sugomi could be all like RAWR I'm gonna bite you! And then it would hurt, cause he'd be all biting Hideaki with his wierd teeth and he might get coodies, and then he'd be all wierded out and then Aura would be the only semi normal person on the team and then a lot of blood would probably be spilled on the mission, and then it'd fail.

He could sense the hand. He can 'see' like a bat would, using sonar. So, he'd 'see' the image of the sign, and would then be able to read it.
