Yeah, I'll agree to that. Though I believe the fight is slightly in Buu's favor due to the absorption issue, it could still technically go either way.

ok i have seen all the broly movie except biobrolly and what makes people think he is stronger than buu he was defeated by a normal super saiyan combined attack which even fat buu could repel and kid buu is twice if not more than that the power level of fat buu now in the second brolly movie he was defeated by a double super kamehameha from gohan and goten and if you prefer goku so 1 ssj2 and 2 ssj1 buu stood up to ultimate gohan who far surpasses both goku and gohans power at the time though he took a beating but kid buu took on a ssj2 vegeta and decimated him with out trying it took 3 ssj2 vegeta goku and goku after the dragonballs restored his power so thus big blasts i think a better battle would be Ultimate Perfect Cell (after absorbing gokus power after exploding) versus Brolly the legendary super saiyan. also i just remebered that fat buu was holding his own against a ssj3

I think your trying to make Brolly out to be weaker than he was.

Goku states he couldv'e easily ended the fight against fat buu in ssj3.killed him even. Honestly, I don't think Broly EVER used his full strength against the Z-gang. Remember when the south galexy shattered? Well Broly could have only been a restricted ssj since he had the mind control device on. By the way Broly gets power ups in that form too, When he first fights goku. So a restricted ssj without the powerup in the beginning of the movie could shatter gelxeys in seconds. I see his LSSJ as being much stronger than his restricted form. Add in his powerup he got in the movie and there is no telling what he could do. Also, I think Gohan was ssj2 in that 2nd movie. MY resoning, The animater is known to not include the electricity ALOT in the manga and he does have his name on the movies meaning he has some say in them.

i counted gohan as a super saiyan 2, but not goku as i am not sure the timing of the return of broly and goku was not a ssj2 when he died in the cell season (or arc). When Broly shattered the south galaxy in the first movie it was not seconds because king kai was calling goku it was more like minutes about 10 and i belive the restictor only works when Broly attacks Paragues or people Paragues does not want attacked in that he had to turn it on around goku. but i will belive that ssj3 goku could take out fat buu if he was not dead at the time. but umm one quick question that always bugged me who is stronger ssj3 goku or ultimate gohan.

Whether Mystic Gohan or SSJ3 Son is stronger is up for debate...it's not stated outright, and there is evidence to support either claim.
....aside from that, this topic has been discussed into the ground.

I still think Broly is stronger.
I side with Koju. Galaxy shattering strength was DEFINITELY not displayed during their bouts. And Broly is known to have this power.
That is my basis for believing Broly didn't go "all-out."

ok i see what you mean in that they are both universe busters i only say buu because of his regenerations and it took the entire universe to take buu down with the spirt bomb plus the dragon giving goku his power back.

Oh, I had forgotten about Buus ability to scream really loud and bassicly make all of exsitance colapse in on itself, though I slightly dout that even Buu would survive that, so it would result in a tie.

Buu has regeneration, while Brolly has complete invulnerability save for his one weak spot.
....not a very big difference, and it's been covered.
...also, the Genki-Dama that killed Chibi Buu was made from power from Namek and Earth, and that's it. Hardly the universe... =P ...it was also major-league overkill.
