She really doesn't stand out to me either. I wonder why Tsunku chose her. It sucks that there are gilrs that auditioned who probably had more talent than her who got cut. I really wish that I could go into the mind of Tsunku. I know he picked Sayumi because she was "marketable."

Well, I'm glad he picked Reina at least. She has real potential, I really like her. She's cute, has a good voice, and can roll her "r's" whee I probably said the same thing about her before in this thread though xd

What I don't like about Sayumi...
Both during lives and in just pre-recorded songs, she sounds like she is more talking than singing and doesn't seem to really get to the high notes that well-- when she does it sounds like she is more shouting than once again singing. When I hear her, it makes me feel bad for the other girls that auditioned and are better than her but not in MM.
What I don't like about Eri...
I've noticed a lot of people like her because she is cute. Whatever happened to Tsunku picking members who CAN sing AND be cute like all the other gens?! Also, sometimes she can be rather off tune during lives. Well, during pre-recorded songs, she sounds just ok.
Then comes Reina and Mikitty to save the day blaugh
Tsunku should've made Miki her own gen, just like he did with Maki XD I always felt she was a bit parted from the other members. Then again she was a soloist.
Reina...she's just cool. HA.

Something I've always wanted to hear (okay, I'm fantasizing) is Joshi Kashimashi with parts of Nacchi, Maki, Kei, and the rest of the 1st and 2nd gen. Tsunku should make another version!

Yah, listen to Shabondama. When she sings at the beginning she does it. It's her with her "Yankee-ness" blaugh It's funny, a lot of people I've met who have just started to like Momusu are obsessed with Sayumi.

Holly It's funny, a lot of people I've met who have just started to like Momusu are obsessed with Sayumi. They haven't discovered the cuteness and ability to sing-ness of Aibon and Nono stare If they think that Sayumi's all Morning Musume (rather yet H!P) than...I'm speechless.

Me and my friend had noticed that Sayumi was getting the most attention from all of the sixth generation. I don't like her. We call her the hamster because, well, she looks like a hamster!
I've got a question. Since Miki was already a soloist, can she really count as a member of the sixth generation? I have my answer but I would like to hear your responses.

Tsunku considers her 6th generation. I don't consider her a 6th gen member, but I do consider her part of Morning Musume--just a bit more of a *star*

Sayumi...sayumi....to me she the cute face of the MM now. thats it really, she's not really that good at singing and well...yeah....
Reina is kool...but lately i've been noticing...the 6th gen are getting more attention than the 5th....which to me is weird....excluding Takahashi (she's currently the best singer in the 5th gen) Risa, Matoko and Asami have been over shadowed... to be after the 4th gen, 5th gen are the second best gen that has appeared...(4th gen had kago and tsuji and well... you can compared them to anyone, they are the best!) but yeah..only reason i dont like 6th gen, is that they overshadow my current favorite gen.
now about Mikitty...i'll say she's a 6th gen but really she is like Goto Maki. Because if no one has notice...Mikitty was in the audition for 4th gen but Tsunku decided to make her soloist and i think it was for the best... she doesnt really belong in MM, i liked her better as a soloist (she also overshadows "my dear" Risa)

Yes, I know Mikitty tried out for 4th generation. A thought that bothers me a bit is-- if Tsunku was to jack up things even more before, than we could have possibly not be seeing Rika, Yossie, Aibon, or Nono right now. So I'm thankful Mikitty was made a soloist at first.

and my last point for the day is, tsunku's lucky 7 auditions for the 7th gen better be good!!! them to overshadow 6th gen and bring 5th gen out for alittle more glamour!!

All I know is that if it were not for Miki, the sixth generation would have sucked. Actually, they have Reina so it would not have been that bad. If it would not have been for her, the sixth generation would have been the ugliest generation to date. I think I am one of the very few people who like her in Morning Musume.
