"Staring down the barrel of a .45" is a metaphor. It translates into, for my character anyway, that Xol is always in the aim of a powerful force. "No real reason to accept the way, things have changed..." translates for Xol into, he won't succumb to the powers. He will always fight his way through and come out on top. xp

Here a couple of new songs that I think explain Irvine alittle. Passive-A Perfect Circle LyricsEnemy-Fozzy LyricsI think these both explain Irvine in the sense that he contrasts himself. Both talk about enemies and Passive talks about dissapointment. This could be Soul Irvine tellin off Non-Soul Irvine. Besides that, they're both kick a** songs.
