Common rumor: Mario riding Yoshi is a secret character. (on Smash bros melee there was a glitch. Mario vs Yoshi was supposed to be a character but became impossible to unlock. So there were booths in Japan where you could download it onto your memory card)

They should REALLY put in -
1. All Sonic Chars.
2. Sora(KH) & FF Chars.
3. NINJA ITEMS AS EXTRA WEAPONS!!!
4. A "Paper Mario" like stage
5. Blood
6. THE RABBIDS FROM RAYMAN:RR!!! smile
7. (wow...are u still reading these?)AND a Wii-Mote throwing weapon were you grab the Remote a ur char. aims it at another char. as the Wrist Strap brakes, LOL
8.(Finally) A Goron as a playable char.acter

lord_tuna lol, ive actually heard a rumor that a nintendog will be playable. I'm still holding out for Geno from smRPG. Or maybe a black mage from the first final fantasy...

wario and please wolf link and i sud this in my tomic OUR MIIS and what happened to bowser mabye a goron, naruto ? and my god thers like 20 sonic games for nintendo consules like comon .

KIRBY! He's Soooooo cool! And he has the best ability, to copy attacks! YAY! And I have a Wii! YAY! And Snake sucks! Even my Tip & Tricks preview mocked him!

howler90 Fox and Link. Do I need to say more? I always play as them in the the original super smash bros. and the Melee.
@One with Nachos ~ I'd agree and he can squish people. And he's ability is only as good as the ability he gets. xD But he's agile and able to get around fast. And I just hope Snake isn't like Donkey Kong when he uses his 'ground pound'.

I think it will be fun to play as Pit, but I'm not sure on Snake. I've never played any of the Metal Gears, but I'm hoping he'll be a fun one to play as. I'm also hoping that there is wide range of characters like in Melee. From the previews, it seems like there isn't a wide selection.

Nintendo dumbed out by putting solid snake in there because he is one of the biggest names for ps2...... If they would put him in there ofcourse the sonic characters would be there. Infact i have an ssbm copy with mario and yoshi!! its awesome but hard because you have to beat classic adventure and all-star with all characters thne beat them all with mario..... then it shows a cutscence of mario and yoshi teaming up to beat bowser and then he is unlockable. Nintendo has obviously put in wolf link but probably kept it secret.......what I am worried about is will the falcon live on?

Adult Link is my favorite. As far as snake goes, i think that it's gonna be very interesting with him in it..it's gonna be werid because if he doesn't use guns then he won't look as tough but if he does use guns then i don't think it would be fair to the other smash characters. so i don't know.. i guess we'll have to see what his move set is.
