((Magic Guard is Wizard's Special Move, like Zuriel's Rapid Slash))
((I rolled a 5, so then the Order is....David, Alexina, and then Me...just like last night....
((Alexina just post a type of attack on the Hobgoblin, anything you can imagine, and then I'll just roll for you. When everyone has posted, then I'll post what's going on from my end and who the monster attacks for his turn...))

Growling a little, shion kept running, ducking her head and launching herself headfirst at the creature, trying to headbutt it, putting all of her momentum behind the attack, giving a battlecry. "YAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

Zuriel took a deep breath not wanting to be a burden as Shion went for a frontal attack he would try to go up behind the creature to give a round house to his head. . . he knew he couldn't take it alone but with help. . . them all maybe they could manage.

Shion:
I rolled a 2, no Crit
*The hobgoblin stood his ground, using his armor to blunt the Angel's blow.*
I rolled 16+16 STR&SPD for 32 damage
The creature defended for 15+15 for 30, so it only takes2 dam, LIFE = 198
Zuriel:
I rolled a 6, so you do a Critical Hit x4 (very nice!)
*Just at the last second, the hobgoblin heard the Angel coming up from behind. He twisted, throwing up his shield to block as much of the attack as he could.*
For his attack, he does 20+18 STR&SPD x4 for 152 damage
the Hob defends for 10+15 DEF&SPD for 25, taking 127, LIFE = 71
( eek WOW! Nicely done for a noobie!! Good job Alexina!)
Wizard:
*Watching the other two attack from the front and back, Wizard launches himself into the air, tucking his legs back, and dropping down on the monster with both of his knees.*
I rolled a 3, no crit.
*Finding himself surrounded, the Hobgobling dives to the side hoping to keep the Angels from flanking him.*
Wizard does 33+28 STR&SPD for 61 damage
I rolled a 6, so the Hob is able to dodge the attack, taking no damage. LIFE=71
((I'll roll 1D6: 1-2=Shion, 3-4=Zuriel, 5-6=Wizard))
((I rolled a 4, so he'll be coming at you Alexina))
HobGoblin:
*With his back now against the wall, he squared off with his opponents. His eyes fell on the Angel who had kicked him so hard from behind and slashed out at him with his sword.*
((So all you have to do Alexina, is RP either defending (you can defend for 3D10+17 [max 47], or try to dodge the whole blow))

Zuriel's eyes widden as he say the attack coming he would try to roll backwards and back to his feet dodging. . . hoping he pulled it off. . .

I rolled a 2,6...so Zuriel dodges the sword, as it slams into the ground right beside him.

From her offbalance position, Shion went into a handstand, and brought her entire body forward to slam the backs of her boots into the hobgoblin's head

((I need to try and sleep after this battle sorry guys it's past 12 which I kinda mark for my bedtime so I can find a job))
Zuriel frowned feeling the wind off the sword and thinking close shave. He knew Alexina would have killed that poor guy if he got hurt too badly. . . he couldn't help smirk at the thought some though. He waiting to try and catch an openning before doing an upper cut attack trying to hit the beast straight in the chest.

Shion does 6+16 STR&SPD for 22 dam
Hob defends for 3+15 DEF&SPD for 18, so it takes 4 dam, LIFE = 67
Zuriel:
I rolled another 2, no crit
*The hob keeps his crossing defense up, hoping to block all their attacks.*
Zuriel does 17+18 STR&SPD for 35 dam
Hob defends for 18+15 DEF&SPD for 33, so it takes 2, LIFE = 65
Wizard:
*Wizard runs and slides, trying to do a scissor kick under the Hob's defenses.*
I rolled a 3, no crit
*The hob drops it's defenses low, hoping to catch the kicking Angel*
Wizard does 61+28 STR&SPD for 89 dam
Hob defends for 7+15 for 22, so it takes 67 damage... and it's dead!!!
*The hob disappears in a flash of light, with an unearthly metallic scream, as it showers the Angels with sparks of light.*
"Oh yeah! We beat another one! Good job everyone!"
((So we all earn 2 STR Practice Points for defeating it! good job both of you!!! Let's meet back here another time soon!!))

((sorry I was slow but I think I'm catching on xd and need sleep sorry I couldn't stay longer))
Alexina would pull Zuriel out as soon as she could craddleing the doll worried. "It could have got hurt. . . did you see how close that was! It could have gotten hurt. . . but. . . it was fun. . . can I do it again some more later??"

Shion stayed in the computer, cautiously scouting forward, ready to get out if she found something dangerous, but wanting to be ready for anything that may come later.

Hakari walked into the basement to see Caneton and another girl walking out pass her. She waved and made her way over to the layer, Elaine perched gracefully on her arm.
The seventeen year old deus had been practicing in her vr room with elaine when all power had suddenly been re-routed from the room to some other computer. Hakari had frowned as her angel unexpectedly slumped and fell over and the layer went dark. She had taken off her equipment and picked up Elaine and walked to the door of her room. It had opened obligingly and Hakari had stepped out. Not sure what had happened, the girl had decided to go home for the time and return in the morning. And so she had returned, walking into the building with Elaine in her backpack only to narrowly miss being run over by the exhausted looking Oogata. Between gasps for breath, the man had explained the problem. She had smiled at him and patted him reassuringly, telling him that she would go join the other Deus' in the basement. He'd only had time to give her a grateful smile and a quick thanks before running off again. So off she had gone, taking Elaine from her bag as she walked.
Hakari sat in one of the many chairs around the large layer and put on her equipment. She gently took Elaine from her arm and threw her into the air. "Divide and conquer Elaine." she said.
Elaines eyes opened as she rolled on impact, coming up quickly, light on her feet. The angel was silent as she looked around the odd surroundings. Apparently others had already been through here as she saw no monsters. "Right, lets go then." she said and set off at a run to catch up to any others still on the layer.
