Prairie_Fire Thanks, a friendly girl in the writers forum has all of the boys so I asked her for the Hakkai (can you tell I'm a Hakkai fan yet?) and she gave it to me for free. I can try and hook you up if you're curious. *Small smile* Sanzo? *Puppy-dog eyes and willingness to slavery...* Oh! And if you give me some time, I can translate the whole duck thing for you. ^^

That is from the Hakuryu epsisode from Reload, happens in the very begining when they're trying to convince the clerk to allow their little white dragon to stay.
Yes, I will ask her for the Sanzo, andthank you for helping with the duck thing. I need to know, why a duck Gojyo????

(Translation note: the kanji here is hen'na, which usually means weird, but I think in this case it's something a little more harsh.) Goku: Uh, Sanzo... Hakkai: ...*Tears* So, what I'm assuming is that all the guys have "stalker" type people except poor Gojyo. whee So, he has to tie a duck to him and pretend it's a stalker to try and fit in. Hahahahaha!

 This is, apparently, a chibi (kitty-fied) kiddie Gojyo. Soreyle sent me this pic tonight and I felt it needed to be put up here to further the mystery: WHAT IS WITH GOJYO AND THE DUCK?! There must be something. Must be.

I figured it out. Not that it makes a whole lotta sense.
I talked to Sensei today, and I asked about the duck. He said that in Japan, a duck is synonomous with a fool, sucker, easy-to-dupe sorta person. I don't know why; he didn't know well enough himself to explain it.
I don't know if the artists are saying that Gojyo IS the fool, or that he keeps close company with them?
Either way, there it is.
