((Nah, I had to re-edit my post. It wouldn't work if I just had the energy to fly after a failed spell))

Shouyin frowned. While in most cases the stone (which note wasn't just floating there or nothing, but starting in the ground, and sweeping over the tank) would've exploded, the half-golem's brand was special. Basically, as the fireball exploded against it, Shouyin would take more stone from the ground, rebuilding the shield as it was destroyed. A little trying, but it was something he'd practiced before. This replenishing action would cause Hakan's arrow to be blocked, 'cause the shield decidedly never left.

Now then, onto other things. If Mozz could spot the jeep, then it was most likely Shou could spot him, or at least catch him in a surveying glance or out of the peripherals, especially since he was starting to cover s**t in mold, which was gross by the way. Assuming the fireball was done exploding, the half-golem could release his concentration on the shield, letting it stay there as a fancy new rock formation. Refocusing, he'd concentrate his energy directly in front of the crouched over Mozz, a two foot by two foot column of stone shooting out of the ground directly at his head. Probably not fatal, but it'd knock him cold.

As soon as the jeep was airborn, Stryphe wrenched at a downwards angle, bringing the weapon crashing out the bottom of the vehicle, shattering wheel axles everywhere. The machine landed at the treeline- demolished.

"Damn! You guys hold up the fort here. I'm heading back to HQ!"

Sheathing his knife, Hein growled beneath his breath as he made a beeline to one of the garages. Kicking open the door without a moment's hesitation, he picked up a quiver of steel-head arrows and a handgun, the sleek black gunmetal feeling foreign in his hands, but he'd have to use it. It was still a few hours off 'til dark.

Running out of the garage, he got onto the ATV that he'd left behind earlier and began speeding off to the field.

Moving to - Field of Stumps
Hein's basically moving at about 50-60 mph at this moment.

((Wait. I was under the impression, from Nihil's post, that I hadn't actually managed to toss the jeep, but that it was still coming at me... I may have to edit my last post if this is incorrect and I read something wrong...))

(Wait a minute. From what I saw, Shou, your rock was only blocking the meteor. Not covoring the tanks completely.)

((I never say it doesn't happen. All my comments were to how much effort it would take and what was likely to result. In fact I based my end of the post upon the conclusion that you had indeed thrown it.))

It seemed people were facing up, well that was no fun for Quin. The hell of war and the nature of it made things all the more interesting, but this was just s**t and it was making his blood boil with anger.

And his anger was most directed to the man holding the halberd, the one that had destroyed the jeep. Some distance from the man Quin stood and his hands moved about him as he wove his spell. With the last movement a ring of fire would spring from the ground were Stryphe stood. He would be the center of a funeral pyre, that was Quin's intent.

(I personally think that Stryphe was able to stop the jeep in the first post dealing with it, and tossed it in his next post after getting some leverage. I'll re-edit as necessary, but that's the way I see it.)

As the man with the halberd tossed the jeep aside and tumbled to the ground, Mooo picked up dashing speed, now running full-tilt toward the now-downed pair of intruders. Tensing the muscles in his right leg, Mooo closed the very short distance between where the back of the jeep once was and where the duo were now on the ground, swinging his right leg back, then scooping it forward in a solid ball kick aimed for the left armpit of the halberd-wielding man.

Not a killing blow, but certainly one to make the guy pause, considering Mooo's strength. This wasn't a full-on attack from him--more an attack to rudely wake the spearman, distance him from his weapon, and do some damage all at the same time.

((Righto. I'll edit my last post. Yay, I threw a jeep.))

OOC: Shouyin can't make stone float. Even if its purpose was to intercept the meteor, it'd require a firm attachment to the ground. Like I said in my first post, a wave of rock sweeping overtop the tank to protect it.

(Great. Mooo's gonna get his leg set on fire whether Stryphe gets hit or not. That's what happens when everybody's all AAAAAAGH GET THEM. xd )

Rivan turned sharply toward the man who was knocked from the jeep. He could hear the magic weaving together to form a pattern, and from the sound, it was fire magic. Jesus, everyone's a goddamned Pyro. He racked his brain for a counterspell, something that could disrupt the flow when he noticed his feet were wet. The smell rising from the ground told him it was not water.

He looked around to find an inch of gasoline from the tanks covering the ground, and everyone was standing in it.

"Dammit, no! You ********! Stop the spell!" Rivan ran toward the man, who was a good fifteen feet of. He pulled his cheap sword from its scabbard and threw it at the man, hoping not to kill or hurt him, but to interupt him, for all their sakes.
