Alyssa stumbled backward a few feet and watched with a diminished happy expression. Her eyes were narrowed with hurt and hatred suddenly for Kai. Though he didn't realize it, Kai was insulting her entire race. She snorted aggrivatedly and turned away from her lover and folded her arms across her almost exposed chest.

"Poor you..get used to being a vampire and wanting blood." Her voice was sarcastic, cold and it was obvious that Alyssa was really upset. At the same time Alyssa couldn't blame him; it was creepy at first. Wait..how would Alyssa know she has always grown up with this burden. The ways of the vampires was all she knew. Alyssa sighed heavily and hung her head in despair.

Alyssa snorted once more, relieved for him yet still upset. Her body tensed more visably than the time before; Alyssa wanted Kai to notice how much it hurt her. Though Alyssa was happy he was still Kai, the way he reacted brought back all the discrimination and hatred she had gone through since she was a little child.

"Well...wonderful.." Alyssa said softly as she dropped her muscular arms to her sides and sat there like incompetent peices to a puzzle; unhelpful and blasphemous. Her large eyes squinched up like a sour candy was shoved down her throat. She did not really know how to react anymore; she decided to use her acting skills to keep Kai from noticing anything.

Alyssa took a deep steady breath and turned to face Kai, a toothy smile plastered across her seductive lips. She tilted her head to the side, her left eye twitching slightly, still trying to keep them innocent looking in appearence. Alyssa was pretty damn good at hiding her emotions; her mother taught her how to do so.

"Oh no it's nothing. I mean..insulted my race doesn't bug me at all no no no. Dear Kai I would never think differently of you if you did so." Alyssa retorted, the sarcasm was exploding with being obvious; Alyssa wanted Kai to knwo that it hurt her feelings. She turned to face her lover with cold, brutal anger mixed with the passion and lust she had for Kai; all Alyssa's emotions were revealed through her bloody pools for eyes.

She waved her hand, dismissing the subject. Alyssa had no intention on contuing this; it would only make her hatred for pure humans grow. Though she is partly humans herself, Alyssa always believed for the human side of her to be defective, too emotional, and her one tragic flaw. If she had been born a true vampress, these feelings would be non-exsistent, besides the cold brutality of any vampire. The harsh way of life was easier on Alyssa; she had lived that way since her father died.

The cove seemed less welcoming as each minute passed without a word between the two. Alyssa's eyes were fixed upon Kai, but would wander every minute or so to break the akwardness. She sighed heavily and collapsed to the ground; grinding her teeth irritably. Did he have nothing to say to her after what he said? Could Kai never be man enough to apologize or to take control without her having to make him? Alyssa pondered these questions with delicate care; she didn't want to make the wrong decision.

Alyssa turned her gaze back to Kai, not so much angry anymore. She took a deep, shaky breath and walked over to him silently. The only sound was of the Seagull above and the light cliking of her boots. Alyssa dropped down to her knees gently, making sure not to bang them up, her then bore into Kai's. She could see he was sorry, that wasn't hard to see. Alyssa ran a hand through her hair quickly, ruffling the roots as if thinking.

Her mind was filled with questions of judgement and what to do. Should Kai be forgiven..and if he is would he be the man Alyssa needs? Or should she just forget him and leave..? These questions seemed to overwhelm Alyssa's conscience. She kealed over, letting her head fall into his lap. "Kai...I can't be with someone who can't say what they want..or take control of what they want.." Alyssa responded after what seemed like hours, her voice barely above a whisper. Her burgundy pools looked up at him with saddness. Alyssa didn't know what to do..however Kai answered this would judge whether they continued seeing one another or not.

"I'm not depressed because of who you are Kai..it's not that. Don't apologize for who you are...I should be the one to apologize.."Alyssa stood as Kai did, her eyes barely opened. She couldn't look at Kai, Alyssa knew he was terribly upset with what she said; it would kill her to see him as such a mess.

Suddenly it hit Alyssa like a ton of bricks, a sudden ton of bricks. She blinked rapidly before pulling Kai to her lips, kissing him with more passion and love than ever before. Her eyes were shut tight and her hands rested against the sides of his neck. The tongue ring connected to her tongue ran against the top of Kai's mouth along with the rest of his mouth.

The minerals had dimmed as they argued, feeling the spark that once kept them together diminishing. However, when Alyssa brought her lips to Kai's, the rocks grew brighter and brighter with every second. The cove was still dark enough for Alyssa, but still lightened the moist cavern with intense light; it was like a romance film.

Alyssa pulled away from him and bite onto her lip nervously, lacing her fingers between his own. "Please...forgive me Kai..I want to be with you.." Alyssa had no intention of Kai comming back to her, so she just waited patiently for Kai's response, feeling as if it would be a terrible one.

Alyssa was more than happy to be held by Kai, it was something she wanted, needed even. She took in his words and sighed as a sign of relief. He doesn't hate me...good. Alyssa's gripped tightened around her love's neck, keeping herself propped up against him. This was almost to good to be true...could this really be what Vampires were fobidden to have...

Alyssa shrugged off Kai's words; no one would notice her disappearence, Alyssa disappeared all the time nowadays. "C'mon..lets go back." She said softly, tugging at his hand eagerly like a small child wanting to get in line for a ride. "I need to change..I feel gross." Her voice was still dismal sounding, but you could tell Alyssa was trying to brighten her personality up..not succesfully though.

As she tugged the rocks slowly began to dim till they disappeared, one by one. Alyssa didn't really notice until the cove got covered in the shadows and her eyes were glowing so she could see in the darkness. Alyssa giggled happily at the sudden change of light. Instead of being afraid of the dark like most children were when they were young, Alyssa would hide in her closet even though it was pitch black;she never thought it was black enough inside her home nor outside.

The tugging grew less more persistent as she knew Kai probably could not see as well or at all in the dark. Alyssa pulled him close to her so she could hear his breathing; it relaxed her. "Don't worry..lets go back to the campus...the courtyard maybe.."
