metaljesse 1313.EXE metaljesse I think some of the most powerful newer cards are -Molder Slug -Troll Ascetic -Sakura-Tribe Elder -Wear Away -Umezawa's Jitte -Cranial Extraction -Kiki-Jiki -Kokusho, the Evening Star -Swords of Fire/Ice, and Light/Shadow -Arashi, the Sky Asunder -Nezumi Shortfang and I can give valid reasoning for all the above choices. -i agree on ascetic. 3nodding Yeah, especially when I cast it 2nd turn with a Birds, and my opponent has no counterspell mana. Troll Ascetic/Kodama of the North Tree + MUC= Win -well i've seen a decent "rock" deq with 4 ascetic's heh. it was unstopable. 3nodding

Right now I only run metagame and expendable creatures, like Withered Wretch and Ravenous Baloth. I'm thinking after rotation that the Wretchs can come out for Troll Ascetics. I'm trying to figure out what decks will be big in extended, but I'm thinking Mind's Desire, Goblins, and Affinity (Molder Slug in the sideboard, haha! No more Guilded Lotus, or Artifact Lands!)

1313.EXE -a decent "rock" deq require's: -ascetic -bop -baloth Actually, I've had a very good run with my old Rock deck without any Ascetics. Goblins is going to make it a necessity to have, though, as well as black control. Baloth I agree with, as well as birds. I hate the fact that I'm loosing Yavimaya Elder, but Sakura fullfills the slot enough to be used. Also, I'm gonna miss having Diabolic Edict, but I'll deal.

wellwisher Warrior X I can't really say because they sent me to Iraq so anything after Darksteel I haven't been able to get yet crying , so you guys gotta let me know which blocks to buy booster boxs of xd umm darksteel fifth dawn and anything that came before Kamigawa. (i know ppl will hate me for this opinion but i personally hate kamigawa. it doens't have anything special about it except for samurai, ninja, and loads of spirits. no other advantages. Kamigawa decks get eaten alive from old-school decks) id have to agree with you there. there were only a few good combos that came from kamigawa and even fewer good cards.9th editions gonna be alot better i hope.

well the skullclamp and the jette are bolth way up there when it comes to kicking @$$. also the crainial extraction/shurestrike trident combo is more then something to be sad about. it is a cheap way to win. but it works...also Uuo. the blue critter that can copy spells is a bit over the top.

I had bought 2 packs and managed to get a jitte in each of them, one foil and one normal. They're definitly the best out of betrayers.
