I see Goku only makeing alot of unnecissary movements in a futile attempt to out manuever Superman. Goku flips around alot but that does't meen he'd be able to out manuever him.

I did some research on what I know to anwser your question. Superman held up a Jumbo Jet flew around with it and then set it down on an air strip now empty Jumbo jets wiegh 180.638 tons Now we factor in the fact that that their where people on this jet. Now if you factor in that about 10% of the wieght provided by the people on that plane you get Superman strength being [Edit] 1806.38 Scratch that. It seems a bit much now that I really look at it. Until further notice I'll say that Superman's strength is 180.638 tons. [End Edit]

Can you give me a clocked speed on Goku's punches?

Then in that case, Goku outmatches Superman in strength. Refer to the concluded decision made by Pym and I at the top of my Goku Write-Up.

And no, I can't give a specific definition of Goku's punching speed. That's incredibly difficult.

EDIT: Wait, I just remembered a scene from Dragonball. Goku delivered 2 punches and a kick in a fraction of a second, according to Master Roshi who was the only person able to see what happened. Keep in mind that this is Dragonball Goku we're talking about, and considering all the intense gravity training Goku underwent, and general training, his punches would be excessively faster.

In fact, I think I could work it out with a mathematical equation . . .

Let's say that before Goku underwent his 150x gravity training, he improved to being able to do 5 punches in the same fraction of a second. That would technically make him able to do 750 punches in a fraction of a second. It seems like a bit much, and considering that there are more factors to consider, I'd say that he could deliver anywhere from a maximum of 100-200 punches per second. And that's always a possibility, seeing as how most of the time his rapid punches are shown in a large blur due to the speed.

That descision seems more than alittle biased to be... But whatever. Mind you Superman stated that he was always holding back his strength. That plain could have easily been ripped apart in his hands like a tissue if he did't have his level of concentration and self control. Thats just Superman's flying around speed he's in fact far more powerful than that seeing as he always has to vastly limit his strength.

Orly? Can you anwser to be why hes never done it before then? I've never seen or even seen it hinted that Goku could deliver than many punches in a second.

You taking about the pamput battle? I thought it's was 16 punches. Ah well, itt's been a long time. And yes, Goku certanly punches faster than that. He and other characters have been known to perform several blows within a fraction of a second without any non fighters being able to see it. During the very first turnament Krillen and master Roshi extangeded several blows within a second, and to the people watching it looked like they were in one position one second and in another the next. And this is very early DB mind you. In DBZ they never even bring up punching speed, so your preobably just supposed to assume that for every bluow they seem to land they're actualy hitting their opponent multipul times.

You'd have to wait untill friday when I have a chance to go to the Libary and pick up some Dragon ball manga to scan, assuming it's still there. Unless of course Sajin Master Vageta has the manga in question?

Yeah, just tell me what scenes you're looking for and I'll see if I can track them down sooner or later.

Um, even say, 50 punches, in half a second is fast. And that is an unbiased opinion.
Now, after SSJ, and all the training. stressed
Ouch.

Goku vs. Pamput(I think that's his name, the actur dude) in the second world tournament, and the part of the Jacky Chun vs. Krillen fight in the first world tournament where tthey explain the set of blows and dodges they just performed that the audience couldn't see.

I can probably hunt it down sometime today.

And just for clarification (seeing as how I'm more in-tune with Dragonball Z), is the Goku vs Pamput match in the same tournament as the Krillin vs Jackie Chun match?

Nope, it's in the second tournamt, the one where Tien and Chazu first appeared. First round, final(fourth) fight.

Enigma Master Andrew
** Growing impatient...**

My apologies. Today was busier than I anticipated. I'll have one up either later tonight or tomorrow.

EDIT: It's about 12:00 pm where I live. And I've got 90% of the scans I need, plus a few extras. They'll most definitely be up by tomorrow. There's alot of helpful scans I'll have ready to submit.

EDIT: Should have them up within an hour or two (1:30 pm here). The Krillin vs Jackie Chun fight will be very interesting to some biggrin
