Duke sat down at the table with the others, he was not hungry so he just sat quietly and watched the others eat. After a while he began to relax a bit, Lexi did not seem to be doing anything suspiscious.
He was still pondering though, because Lexi was such a strange person. He leaned forward in his chair and closed his eyes, assuming an unorthodoxed meditative position. He decided to take some time for deep thought and reflection, maby his judgement of Lexi was not entirely correct...

Chii smiled, and sat down with a bright smile on her face. With a small giggle, she took a sip of her coke. She picked up a fork and began to take small bites. She smiled, with a small blush. "Thank you, Nagi..." She said, taking a bite of some of the other things.
Lexi merely propped her chin up in her hand, and pouted. She was severely irritated right now, and wasn't in the mood for all of this. "For gods sake," she finally said looking at Chii hard. "Chii, can't you eat your food without getting all giddy?" She smirked, chuckling to herself then turned to gaze to the other people.
Chii nearly choked, as she stared at Lexi hard. "H-How, do you know...my name? I've never told anyone..." Lexi just shrugged, and smiled. "Well you apparently forgot..., you told me a very long time ago...Heh, stupid.." She smiled her sarcastic tone ringing through Chii's ears.

Nagi tilted his head, Chii? He had guessed that the name he was given was not real, but he had hoped to find out in a different way then through the ramblings of some silly spirit. It was too late now, he would just continue calling her what he would.
"So which would you like me to call you? Chii or Moe? It is your choice, and I guess you have reasons for it too. Does not matter, anyways, you like the food?"
Nagi then looked at Lexy the girl was now being annoying on purpose. He had hoped that he would not have to do this but he guessed he had no choice. He first sent a telepathic message to Lexy knowing she would pick it up. Look I am telling you this once, the thing I planned to tell you earlier was this: I have a single spell that I know, Infernus Scholacticus. If you force me to use it returning back into the girls body will be the least of your worries, and I bet that if I tried hard enough I could still cast it while you were inside her. He hated having to threaten a girl, even if she deserved it, but he would have to make an exception for this case hoping that it would get Lexy's attention long enough for her to understand that she could not do as she please all the time. There was something else he could do too but that was more of a long shot.
"Hey Duke, tell me would you be interested in say, the ability to access some magical abilities in order to accomplish your goal of helping others?"

Nagi's proposal stirred Duke from his meditative state, he sat up and looked at Nagi, at first he was unsure how to respond.
"I...I dont know...I do admit that the prospect of harnessing other types of abilities is tempting, but all my life I have trained to be better, to gain new abilities through strength and perservearance, to accept your proposal may contradict my very life style...so I am afraid that I must decline, but I thank you for your generous offer."
He gave Nagi a small bow, along with a brief smile, showing his grattitude.

Chii just shrugged, keeping her eyes down because she kind of felt bad about not telling him her real name. "I don't like my name, its a tad too girly for me..." When he changed the subject she merely, got rid of the uneasy feeling she had in the pit of her stomach. "The food is excellent, thank you so much" She smiled, as she started finishing it off.
Lexi on the other hand just frowned listening to Seth's message in her head. 'I'm not afraid of you...Do as you wish, but as of now you will stay out of my business...' She told him telepathically.

Nagi sighed, what was he doing threatening some one with a spell that could go horribly wrong if even one circumstance was not met? He sent another message to Lexy. Sorry, I got carried away there, what I did was out of line, and not like me at all. I just feel on edge since this is the first situation of your kind that I have seen. Maybe if I knew more it would be easier. He then turned to hear Duke's response, it was to be expected, and it probably would have been a faster answer if the guy knew exactly what the proposal has entailed. Chii, or Moe as she preferred, finished off her food, he was glad that she liked it since the first time he had tried Greek it had taken some time for him to get used to it.
"Well now that we have eaten, why don't we go and have some fun, this is a big place and I believe we could find something to do, an arcade or something would be nice right?"

"An arcade sounds alright to me. Actually I've been meaning to check out Time Crisis 4, it just came out a few months ago, but I havent had the opportunity to give it a try."
Duke stood, and with a casual stretch he removed his Katana and sheath from his belt and rested it leisurely across his shoulders.
"Does anyone know where the arcade is?"

Lexi rolled her eyes with her arms crossed, and just stared straight ahead into nothing. 'Yeah whatever...I'm keeping an eye on you now though...' She thought, looking at him from the corner of her eye.
Chii smiled, clapping her hands together lightly. "I'd love to! Of course, I've never been very good at games..." She said meekly, staring at the floor between words. "As for where one is...I'mnot exactally sure.."

Nagi looked around, there were a ton of stores that seemed to all look similar to him, but no way to tell where there would be an arcade. He then noticed a directory nearby and went to check it out. He looked and saw that there was a giant arcade just below the food court. He laughed guessing he should have realized that from the sounds he heard from the escalator.
"Come on follow me, it looks like it is just downstairs. From the map it seems big. Should be fun. Oh and Duke, care to double team on that Time Crisis game, I have heard that this one has multi-player."
With that found Nagi rushed over to the escalator, but since it was a bit crowded he decided to speed his process up and just jump down the ledge using some wind to soften his fall.

Chii smiled, and walked behind Nagi. Though she was a bit frightened when he jumped down to teh floor below. Scared that he had hurt himself, she darted over to the edge and bent over. Unfortunately, she ran up to the edge too fast and threw herself off balance..With a small scream, she fell over the edge to the ground below.
Lexi immediately reacted as her eyes glowed a bright green, and darted fast as lightening over the edge after Chii. As they both fell, Lexi reached out and grabbed Chii in her arms. Her eyes glowed again, as a faint green circle of light appeared under her feet for a moment. It had slowed down the fall, as she dived headfirst towards the ground. Then with a swift movement she caught herself in a one-handed hand stand then front flipped forward. She hadn't even appeared to have broken a sweat as she pushed a peice of hair out from her face. Its was incredible for someone like Lexi to just run off and save someone like that...She frowned down at Chii, with a snicker. "Damn you Chii...Always getting yourself into trouble.."
Chii thought she had died, but soon realized otherwise when she heard Lexi's voice. It was harsh, as she peeked open her eyes to look at her. She didn't know what had happened because she had her eyes closed the whole time..."What...Happened?" She asked in a bewildered tone, as Lexi set Chii on her feet.

Droping to the ground from above, in a low open leg stance, Duke looked up at Chii, and responded to her question.
"You lost your balance, and tripped over the ledge, Lexi here just demonstrated quite an impressive skill in saving you."
Turning to Lexi he asked her, "Now where did you learn to do that might I ask?

Nagi eyes Lexi, it seemed that the ghost had a few tricks up her sleeve, not that he minded, she had done a good deed and for now that would be enough to keep her in his good books.
"Ah forget about it Duke, Lexi seems to be the type that is full of surprises, for now lets just be happy that Moe here is okay."
He then turned to Chii who was still getting over the shock of having fallen.
"Sorry about that I probably should have told you that I was going to jump. I was in no danger, I can make a jump five times that height and not get hurt. Are you okay at least?"

Chii nodded with a small blush on her cheeks. "Oh, I'm sorry...I'm a bit clumsy at times..." When Nagi asked if he she was alright she just nodded her head, and smiled shyly at Lexi. "Thanks.."
Lexi just stuck her nose up and acted like she didn't do it because she wanted to. "Whatever..Though I'm not going to save your sorry a** next time, got it?" Chii merely quivered, as a small whimper escaped as she nodded her head. Lexi then shot a hateful look towards Duke, and went back to her snooty attitude. Apparently she had forgotten about being a goody-goody. "Its comes naturally...I'd appreciate it if you would stop being so nosy by the way..." She then turned around, and stormed off towards the arcade without another word.

Unsurprised by her aggressive attitude towards him, Duke simply smiled and shook his head. He walked over to Moe, and as he got close to her, he put his hand lightly on her shoulder.
With a polite smile he said, "You should be more cafeful, someday, there might not be someone around to lend you a hand."
Calmly he began to walk slowly towards the entrance to the arcade.

Nagi let out a nervous chuckle hoping that Chii wouldn't be affected by the comments that were made by Lexi and Duke.
"Grim bunch of people we've met up with haven't we? But there is no need to worry too much. As a mage it is my duty to lend a hand to people that needed, so as long as I can, I will help in what ever way you need if you get into trouble."
Nagi was certain he could keep his word, it was his job to help others and part of that was of course gaining there trust, he just hope he could do some good in his new home.
