Well I got a Spyder Electra '05 for Christmas along with a Egg2(Y-Board). Well I went out in my backyard to shoot it. I test fired it a couple till I was comfortable. Well after I fired it a couple of times I started to go all out on Semi. After a second or two I noticed that the accuracy was horrible. So I put the safety on and looked at the barrel. It looked like I had broke 2 or three balls inside of the barrel. I then noticed that I had a ball broke inside of the hopper. I was kind of annoyed that this happened but I went and cleaned the gun and the hopper.(The gun was really easy to clean but the hopper was a pain) After I cleaned it out I decided to go and shoot again. It was shooting good for a while but then the balls started to swerve to the side and the accuracy was horrible. So I looked at the barrel and of course another ball was broken. I cleaned it out and then put it away until I could find out why it was breaking balls. It could be because the FPS was set high(A ball went through a peice of plywood on my first shot.... neutral ). I think the paint might have been old or I could have been outshooting the hopper. Now I thought the ACS Bolt was supposed to eliminate chops? Or Did I read wrong? Anyways if you guys can figure out why Ive been chopping balls I would greatly appreciate it.

1. Check your velocity before you got play. Fatory set velocitys can be very high.
2.I'm doubting you are out shooting the hopper.
3.As long as that gun don't have A.C.E you can expect chops.
4.Is there paint in the breech after you chop or just barrel. If it's just barrel it's chopping in barrel if it's in breech then it's your bolt. Also the Scorch paint your using is cruddy paint. Scorch and other paintball that come from Wal-Mart/Other Supermarkets. has been sitting in storeage for who knows how long and usally is terrible by it hits the self.

1. Yes I know factory velocity is set high when I got my Xtra last year it was set at 320. When I go to the field this Sunday Im going to adjust my velocity.
2.I might not be outshooting it but its a possibility.
3.Well I didnt expect it to eliminate all chops but I was hoping I wouldnt get a chop so soon.
4. There was paint almost leaking out of the barrel and paint was on the back of the gun near the bolt and there was paint coming out of the front of the gun. I actually thought the Scorch paint was fine. When I bought it worked fine but that was last April so it has been sitting around for a long time. It was the only paint I had because I had used up all my Draxxus playing at my local field(Can only use the paint you buy from them).

for only $60 this gun rules I can shoot like 10bps. And I bought a Halo TSA form a guy for $15 so I'm set.

Sorry for the awkward angle, but you all know what an 05' Imagine looks like.
