I know how that feels. Yeah the only thing that I think is more cost effective than a Talos is a Wraithlord. They are quite amazing.

Yes but Wraithlords have something that Talos' do. FAST, that and if I remember right a Talos is a Fast Attack Choice, not a Heavy Support like a Wraithlord.

Okay that's good. I remember one Talos taking out an entire city of 500 points of IQ men in a game in which their were 8 2,000 point armies on the board.

thats insane, well if the talos has blast weapons, then it could take out more faster... which i'm not sure if they do have...

IG sorry. The Wraithlord CAN have a blast weapon but it's weak and not an ordinance weapon.

well it's better not to have an ordiance weapon, because it can be redirected, just blast is fine for me...

That's why I love Prism Cannons. Instantly kills anything with 4 or less toughness in a blast and allows no regular saves.

well then... that pretty good. My friend keeps on going on and on about how good the dark lance is, the only advantage that is has is the ability to treat an armour value of 14 as 12... so it can penitrate easier...but it still only has 8 str, compared to the 9 str of the lascannon.

Yes but it is also an assault weapon. As it is the same thing for the Brightlance for Eldar. Though I never take any Brighlances they are good for going against say, Monoliths or Land Raiders.

yeah, they are really just an anti-tank weapon, they aren't very good for anything else.
