Uhhh....I seriously think that the vehicle design rules can always be modified when you use house rules. (This is tough, I'm typing with one hand and holding my 8 month old neice in the other...)

Malakym777 DarkElf27 Cagalli Yura Attha DarkElf27 Ever heard of house rules? anyway, the size of the model shouldnt matter, its just a walker with wounds rather than armor. Once again, it isn't legal. As such, it is not useable in even FRIENDLY matches. And size does matter, as only war machines can have structure points and imperial fields. its a stupid rule in my opinion. The thing im making is just a huge warsuit, about 2.8 inches tall, with a dreadnought CCW. Whgats wrong with just having wounds and toughness, like some of the Tau walker/suit guys? Then it would count as an Power Fist can will have to be last. Wraithlords dont.

You can choose between "vehicle" and "combat vehicle" before you start, which defines if it has combat weapons or not (which you add to points cost later) .. this is all in Chapter Approved, i'm surprised you've never taken a look.

I laugh all the time when my guardsmen get torn to shreds by biovores. With thier freakin spore mines. A thousand pieces of biological shrapnel. I think some went in my brain. But seriously, my friend's eldar army was crushed by my leman russ/lascannon team/basilisk combo. My guardies stood there and fired. My tanks stood there and fired. My stormtroopers dropped in from the sky and fell right on his customized fire prism with twin linked, long barreled fire prismic death, while carrying melta bombs. He dies. Quick. Don't get me started on 'nids either.

Im gettin a little bored with my current army (DA all-term deathwing) and i want to construct an imp. guard army...any suggestions on which would be better? superior numbers with a large large number of troops? a well balanced mix of long ranged support with close combat specialists to cut down whats left, or a large number of tanks? (armoured company) any feed back would help, anything but suggesting a whole other army...

An armored company is very hard to beat but I don't think that you can play one in an actual Games Workshop game because they are so unbalanced...
