Victoria was exausted, another farie had been found dead, she didn't know what this rain was, but it had already caused so many deaths and injuries. She was worn out from healing, and she slumped into a delicately carved wooden chair next to her friend Serenity, who was a nymph and had been seriously injured, with burns covering her body that magic couldn't heal.
Serenity stirred. "What is the world coming to V?" She asked tiredly.
"I don't know Ren, I just don't know." Victoria replied. Suddenly Serenity's body jerked, and she grabbed Victoria's hand.
"V, take Daine...Go find help...The Elves...Dying with the forest..." Serenity said as spasms ripped through hr body.
"Don't worry Ren, nothing will happen to you." Victoria said shakily "Someone, I need some help! She's dying!" Victoria yelled. She gathered energy around her and poured it into Serenity.
"No use...Here.." Serenity said, and images flashed through Victoria's mind, making her stumble back, clutching her head.
She was at Serenity's home. She glanced behind her, then moved aside the huge carved rock that stood in the center of he room. A staircase spiraled down to a room filled with light coming from a young sleeping dragon. It opened its eyes and stared at her.
Victoria wimpered in pain.
She saw Molly, The Mystic Queen, sitting on her throne. Victoria heard Serenity's voice the way it used to be, full of life and laughter. "Go to her, V, she's the only one who can help us. She lives somewhere on Dragon Fang Mountain. Oh,and take Daine with you, okay? Daine's the dragon you saw."
Victoria sat up. Serenity was still. Tears flowed down her cheeks, and she walked out. She jumped tree branch to tree branch, then jumped to a lower branch and walked into Serentiy's house. She pushed aside the carved rock, and sure enough, there was the staircase. She carefully walked down, and there the dragon was.
It was awake and watching her.
Hello Victoria. She heard, and she jumped. The dragon continued staring at her.
"Uh..You're Daine, right? I don't know how to say this, but, uh.."Victoria stuttered.
I am Daine. I kno what happened, so when are we going to leave?
"Uh...Now I guess..." Victoria said. Daine sat up and looked hard at the floor. a satchel materialized.
"DearGoddess." Victoria breathed, staring at Daine with amzement.
Well, what are you looking at? Lets go. Daine said impatiently. Victoria walked up the stairs, Daine flying ahead. Victoria was in a daze. Soon enough they were standing at the edge of the forest, looking up at the great mountain Dragon Fang, where the Mystic Queen Molly lived.
"Here goes nothing." Victoria said, and with that she set of in search for the Queen.

Skie turned to Jesse, "Yes but 'twas lonely. 'tis the last of my clan." He came up so that he stood next to her, "Homes do not last forever. Thou dost not need to be sad." He tried to cheer her up, but thought to leave the matter alone for now.

Victoria walked up to the door and knocked.

"Well I am not allowed in my home. All because I wanted to have a dragon. They didn't like Cowleanna so they banned me, not that it is Cowleanna's fault. I regret nothing when it comes to her,sometimes you have to make sacrafices for who you love." Jesse said.

"I agree, i would give my life for Jesse."Cowleanna said.

Skie's face was screwed up from emotion. "They have something against dragons? What did our kind ever do to them to cause them to act this way?" He thought for a moment, "Forgive my questioning. 'Tis a strange thing that."

"Is it our fault we can breathe fire? No,they are just strange."Cowleanna said.

"Breathing fire, or any of the elements. 'Tis the way we were made by the Gods. 'Tis not our fault how we were made to be such. But no not sinners." He gave a slight shrug. "But 'tis not my place to say what people want to believe in."

After Victoria left, Molly layed back down, and soon was asleep.
