After she finished grabbing supplies, she began getting out chopping, slicing and peeling knives. Handing one to each of her assistants for the morning, she intructed them to begin peeling and chopping the mounds of vegetables that had been heaped on the table. Meanwhile, while they were working, she began to set bread to rise- all different kinds, whole wheat, white, rolls, sweet buns.. To the causual observer, it seemed like she was whirling around like dervish in the kitchen, rarely in one spot for more than a minute. With fresh supplies of wood, she fired up the big stove and oven, and began setting the chopped and peeled veggies into pots of water, with stew meats, and spices. Finally, when everything was ready, she heard the Captain's voice from the deck, calling for the stowaway to be brought out. After taking everything off the fire, out of the oven, and in the icebox, she motioned for Jaden to follow her up on deck. " I'll do my best to talk to the Captain. You have been a big help to me this morning, and I would never have gotten the galley clean, and the feast prepared with out your and Quasan's help. That's got to go a long way. Dont be afraid."

*Stops working and looks around, confused. All the activity had happened in such a short time, then there was quiet. The fire crackled and the pots steamed, of course, but the only people were herself and Quasan, both working quietly at their own task.* Does she always do that? It's like she ran in, did battle, then just disappeared. *She returns to cutting, having narrowly avoided severing her own finger.*

"Thats what you can expect from a great chef!" He continued to do the task at hand and whistled a little to himself. "I plan on learning quite a bit from her. I too would like to be a chef. I want to run it by her if she can show me the little tricks she does and become assistant chef."

Destiny walked back into the galley, refreshed by her bath and jaunt ashore. As she observered, only Quasan was still at work.. Where did Lustra go? I thought she was in here helping you and Jaden.. oh well, I'm sure she'll pop up somewhere. Anyway, I heard soemthing being muttered as I came in about you wanting to become assistant chef. I'd be glad of the help and company, and I'll be happy to teach you whatever you need to learn." She walked over, and checked the rolls rising, and the bread, and the sweet rolls. " b]Ah, rising nicely. I tell you, its a trick to get a good yeast going on board a ship. Have to deal with all sorts of factors such as humitidy, temperature, movement... But, once you figure it out, it's not so difficult. Bread making is an art form in itself. I think I have some old recipie books in my cabin, if you want to stop by later and look through them. I tend to take good recipies and change them just a bit from the way they were written, to make them my own. She bustled about the galley, checking pots, puting cassaroles and roasts into the ovens, and mixing some fruit punch-spiked.

"Oh yes! It was I who wish to learn from you, Ms Destiny! I already know how to hunt and fish for a meal, plus I know my way around the kitchen. I could be of some assistance on such an occasion such as today."

-She'd just reached the galley and didn't know what to do. Her face was scrunched up into a sour expression--If looks could kill, everyone would be dead. She detested being below deck, and she still couldn't understand why she'd listened to Ares in the first place. She might've been an officer, and Sparrow had respect for her for that, but she was a pirate! And most pirates didn't give a rat's-a** what anyone said.-
-Even below deck she heard the Cpt's voice, but it ddin't exactly aply to her, seeign as she was already on board. She had just finished swabbing the deck of the galley and gatherign up peelings into a bucket.-

Kauro grimiest at that note the Captain head given him as he made his way in to the galley. " I can't beleave I have to drink this....huh?"Glancing about he notested some faces he hadn't seen in a long while an some he had never even seen on board before...."ACK ITS THE SEA-COW!!!" Said the youth in a bit of a surprised tone as he spotted Sparrow. "I thought you would have been thrown overboard by now."
