John Cleese in a bikini... *shudders*
A lot of my friends like Rocky Horror, but I think it's... whatever. But it's always fun to sing that Timewarp song. Oh, and they ate Meatloaf.

random piece of trivia: the director didn't tell the cast that meatloaf was going to be under the table, they just told tim curry to take the tablecloth off. so all those reactions you see were actually real.
and when frank n furter was whipping riff raff he wasn't supposed to actually hit him. after the take tim curry started crying 'cos he did actually hit him.
sorry, I watched it with someone who knows the audio commentary off by heart.
i walked out during the movie several times. and when they sang "sweet transvestite" sophie was like "do NOT hide away." and I went cry

I had a friend out in the NC mountains who owned an old theater. She was a really nice person & had heard that RHPS was a movie where you got to participate in the audience. She decided this sounded like fun. She got the movie to show, never having seen it herself, on Halloween.
Some of her friends were saying, "Betsy, this is NOT what you think it's going to be...." rolleyes Well, the light finally dawned when "Sweet Transvestite" started & Tim ripped off his lab coat. rofl Betsy's eyes about bugged out of her head! And of course it all just goes on from there.... Betsy groaned, "Oh my Lord, they're going to burn the theater down" (referring to the townsfolk--this being a very quiet, conservative little mountain town).
To make matters worse, nobody really knew the audience script & the vast majority of the crowd were teens who just knew they got to throw things. So they constantly threw EVERYTHING. I finally got bashed in the back of the head with a big ball of ice & Betsy finally stood up & yelled at the lot of them & threatened to shut off the movie if they threw any more ice.
Needless to say, not only was Betsy mortified by the end of the night, but her theater was a wreck. She never ever showed that movie again! mrgreen

in our ep (where i am the 11th doctor) i think it was episode 6 where romana comes back in her 42nd incarnation at the end we say 'let's go poke janet.' and run off into the kitchen and put this ridiculous hat on isi and start poking her.

I don't quite think it's possible to poke me to death anymore.. it is the most ridiculous hat, but what we did to romana 42 today in multimedia was MUCH WORSE!! blaugh rofl rofl

Sepik None of my friends watch Doctor Who... or really any of the shows I watch. :cries: Therefore, none of our jokes have anything to do with it. I envy you. Ditto. Exactly like that. Nobody I'm around (minus my family) has even heard of it. (I'm in the USA). Therefore, me going around saying funny quotes achieves nothing but strange looks from everyone. *sigh* I wanna take a banana to school and just go around saying "Bananas are good!"....and possibly get my dad's tie and use that with some sunglasses....but it would break my evil dresscode..... evil Of course, my dad in restaurants with saltshakers and straw wrappers making 'Daleks' and saying 'exterminate' after the first few times isn't funny anymore.....in public... sweatdrop
