As constructive criticism, I think you should add more depth to his shirt, and his nose is looking pretty flat, too.
If you wanted to get crazy, you could work with two layers:
one for outlines and darker shadows
one for lighter shadowsfer sure, thanks. SOEP was saying that to, its been a while since i've done one with multiple layers. here was the last one i did: http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn132/Livid_Tranquil/DSCN0031.jpg i dont really know what it is... a motorcylce/bug thing.

Your stuff is good. Do you draw all your stencils or do them on the computer?

Your stuff is good. Do you draw all your stencils or do them on the computer?ill use a image from the computer and sort of trace out the contrasted areas on a lightboard, unless im doing more than 1 layer, then ill just use the computer... but ive never just sketched out a drawing and went with it..

All those ones that you saw are 18" x 24".
How big are yours usually?
And do you use anything to hold your stencils down? Some of your pieces look a little sloppy because they don't have that nice finish on them. I mean, all cool if you were going for that. I just use rocks to hold my stencils down, haha.

I just use rocks to hold my stencils down, haha. i've never done one that big, mine are usually around 7" x 9" No, im too lazy to hold it down with anything besides my hand. I'll just use adhesive spray if im doing it on a shirt or something.

LOL
