I've upgraded as well. When do we get a blurb for the storyline? I'd like to better flesh out my character, and I can't really do that until I know what the world's like.

I agree , thas partially myt reason for a lame Background, i didnt wnat to write up one of my own tangent stories just to have it clash totaly with the actual game story

Ok, the Campaign background post is up and I'm writing the 1st Action post now. Let me know if you like/dislike anything or would prefer a different story for your character (see the dark blue text under your character's name in the cast list).
Time for SUPER ACTION!

Alondra Neo wannabes. lol Thank you, Bagel. That was great. Should we be rolling iniative soon? call them how i see them razz initiatives hsoudl only be rolled when all or most members of the fight are aware there is a fight.. so right now.. if i get spotted..adn they decide to engage me..we roll initiative.. other wise they keep doign whatever it is they are doing and i can get in a free attack with them unaware razz (dnd terms..flatfooted razz )

Well, I've done online RP before, forum RP even, chat RPGs, but never an RPG on a forum. It's different, doing an RPG rather than free form. We're dependent upon BOWP more than anyone ne? I'm waiting for BOWP more than anyone for resolution on a few actions : 1) Bagel's attacking the robbers, 2) my shooting the fire sprinkler's, 3) your information search.
You succeeded your check for information, so you should get something, but we don't know quite what. I hit the fire sprinkler's, presumably, since I don't think I'm getting a penalty. It is small, but it's also stationary. They may not spray water as widely as I'd like for me to pull tricks with. The goons need to roll defense verses Bagel's attacks, then take damage. Since one of them wasn't hit, we'll still have to roll initiative to fight with the last one, whether or not we rush to the back.
What are traditionally the rules for a forum RPG, though, regarding posting? Everyone takes one post, then the game master? Auren, are you waiting for BOWP, who is potentially waiting for you?
As for Punk Fox, worst case, we meet someone slightly later into the story, right? It's cooler when you get new people in an RPG, I think, as opposed to everyone getting together at the beginning.

I was actually assuming that we'd stay out of actual initiative rolls, as that would further slow our progress in the game, waiting for whoever's turn it was to act and then for BOWP to respond to them. I'm assuming that each player will say what they're doing, then the GM and her characters will respond. I'm also assuming that we'll move into more fluid freeform-type RP once we're out of this initial combat and have a chance to talk to each other. Megan probably won't hang around long, though, as I RPed her being late for dinner, so she'll grab up her bike and backpack and hightail it home before she gets in trouble. (Though, she'll get in trouble anyway, but all that will come out in RP.)

well i can resolve my attacks very easily for you
they didnt knw i was there.. so they dont get there defensive roll razz
i onlt attacked to dissarm them..so three of them just got thier uzi's shot halfway across the bank
at least i woudl think so
you cant defend from what you dont know is coming razz
thats why my element of surprise was imparative.. i wanted to get in as many free shots as i could razz
