*Forgetting herself, Shalen stuck her tongue out at Lacey when Gray wasn't looking, she wanted to do more, but she knew that it would be a bad idea, especially since Lacey had a sword.*
"Then I guess we should be going then. Thanks anyway miss Lacey." She said and waited for Gray to come.

Lacey chucked a small rock at Shalen's head when Gray wasn't looking, knowing that she could not do anything to retalitate now that sh was with Gray.

"Or not." Shalen said grudgely and began to walk off, glaring back at Lacey for throwing the rock.
*Shalen looked to the bla[nket offered. She took it and smiled. "Thanks Gray, your very kind." And began to walk again after wrapping the blanket around herself.*

As Lacey became more of a dot then a person, the white wall revealed itself to be a roaring snowstorm. The thing inside of Gray's pocket started to warm up, as if it wanted out.

The wind and ice was even more harsh than before the wall. Gray pulled as much of the blankets and coats he had over himself in an effort to keep the heat. He even let the object sit in his pocket for a moment as the heat felt good. Then, finally, he took it out to see what it was, taking care to keep it hidden from Shalen.

As soon as it left his pocket, the picture of a very scantily clad Lacey revealed a flame compass directly above her heart. It pointed the way to where her home was, in Tunk.

Gray's face began burning again and he made an even stronger effort to keep the item hidden. He then pointed in the direction the compass' needle was directing him. "Let's go this way." He then quickly stuffed the compass back into his cloak, hoping that Shalen hadn't noticed.

The flame vanished and the picture stayed warm in his pocket, to keep his hand warm if he chose so. The white started to lose its color, meaning that night was falling. It also meant that Tunk was nearing as well.

*Shalen bundled up as much as she could. it was freezing, but she tried her best to keep as much of her face covered as she could. the snow was pretty deep and her legs were short, so walking through the snow proved difficult. Once she slipped and almost fell face first into the snow, but she managed to catch herself and continue forward.*

Gray held the compass in both hands benieath his cloak, occationally looking at it to make sure they were still headed i the right direction ((and, of course, for another reason)). They had been walking all day through deep snow, and the effort was beginning to wear on him.

*Shalen was starting to get tired, but she didn't want to stop unless Gray wanted to stop. She didn't want to slow him down, plus she was starting to worry that they may get lost and it would be her fault.*

Soon, the storm broke around them, revealing a rather large city. Three temples stood prodominately about the rest of the town, well light with torches. It appears to be alive even in the night hours. The city of Tunk lie not much more then 50 feet away. It appears that their lie a scroll at the gate into Tunk.

*Shalen ears were frozon an dso were her words. She didn't respond, but picked up the scroll with her frozen hands and open it as best she could so she could read it.*
