biggrin "I would hope not. This is something I made myself. All religions have a positive side and a negative side. So one day I decided to create a religion that took only the best ideals and philosophy from each of our known religion and make a single religion out of it. That and it's a symbol for my brothers and people." biggrin As well as our guild, but I don't thing they need to know that.

Caravil looks curious. "Hmm... It appears to have some similarities to my god's symbol, but they are few."

(inspects it more closely) "I see, sounds more scientific than religious (sighs) "then again, what do I know? Im still learning, well, long as its for a GOOD cause (( sense motive , to see if he really is who he seems and what he says to be true, hes questionable about people, remember, hes new to human social life, so no offense ))

Without losing his smile or betray any reaction a normal person would make when faced by an angry orc. Faust just scratches his head a bit, biggrin "Sorry sweatdrop ! My mind isn't very helpful to day sweatdrop . Too many memories. Please excuse me while get some ale and tea while my mind sorts out what information you people are looking for." biggrin
(No offense taken, oh, and you sense nothing because he wasn't lying about anything.)

((Okay, I'm going to give the results for both the Gather Info and Local Knowledge checks.))
The rest of the day (those who made knowledge checks) wander about town, gathering information on only curses and aggresive lizardfolk. Finally, near the end of the day, you find a shy peasant who mentions something about a lighthouse. They tell you that it's about a day's walk from here, and that's where all the ships are expected, but no supplies have arrived from that direction.
As the group travels back to the bar that they started at the previous night, Dr. Faust is able to confirm this information with his knowledge of the local region. He also knows that the lighthouse was built 45 years ago, and that it's run by a family who lives there. He also knows that there are two routes to the lighthouse, one by sea and one by land. He also tells you that a hired guide could take you there or even a druid or ranger, if possible, to take you by land. However, if you wish to go by sea, you can hire a ship to take you to the lighthouse, instead.
Okay, now it's your decision, three main options: Interact with the group of peasants back at the tavern, hire a ship to take you by sea, or try to find a local guide to guide you over land.

Caravil looks at the rest of the group as they enter the tavern talking about what they learned that day. "I'm not a fan of ships... I've always hated not having my feet touching the ground. I say we take the path across the land."
