I have a few songs that I heard about, so they are not from me. I sang these songs on a Bible School Cd. I do not know who created them, either, but these songs are a tremendous blessing to me.
To You, Lord Jesus, All My Life
1. To you Lord Jesus, all my life, I wholly consecrate; Throughout eternity this act to you I demonstrate. Nor Life, nor death, yea nothing Shall ever come between My heart in joyful worship, And you, Lord Christ, my King.
2. With lavish grace you have redeemed me By your precious blood, You healed my wounds and put my hands Into the hand of God. What through beset by Satan, My daily bitter foe; You fight for me, my keeper, Where is a God like you?
3. O help me not to falter in the pledge that I have made, Let me attain my goal and never Turn nor be afraid. Resplendent One, my chosen, My life I fully claim; My life transformed and Oneness, With you I shall attain.
4.My entire self, I now have signed To you and all is well; My spirit, soul, and body, you shall Have, now in me dwell. Take me into your keeping, Your image on me press; Disclose on me, your goings, You, only I, confess.
O Thou God of Grace
1. Come, O Thou God of Grace, Make this a Holy place, Even now descend! Draw every heart to Thee, And may our worship be, Lives offered pure and free, Unto Thee end.
2.Be in each song of praise, Which here thy people raise With our hearts aflame! Let every anthem rise, Like increase to the skies; A joyful sacrifice, To Thy bless name!
3.Speak, O eternal Lord, Out of Thy living word, O give us success! Do Thou the truth impart, Unto each waiting heart; Source of all strength Thou art, To Thy bless name!
4. To the great One-in-Three, Glory and praises be In love now given! Glad songs to Thee, we sing, Glad hearts to Thee, we bring; Till we our God and King Shall praise in Heaven
Who is on the Lord's side
Who is on the Lord's side, Who will serve the King; Who will be His' helpers Other's lives to bring? Who will leave the World's side, Who will face the foe; Who is on the Lord's side, Who for Him may go? By thy call of mercy, By thy grace devine. Chorus We are on the Lord's side, Savior, We are Thine.
For the Praise of God
1. For the praise of God your hearts prepare, Approuch His throne with fear; With all your soul His might declare, And all of the Earth shall hear. Lift up your voice, sing loud your song, The Lord Jehova reigns, The Lord Jehova reigns.
2. Lo all creation, wide and broad, Will join with the Sons of man; As we exalt out sovergn God, and lift His name again. Lift up your voice, sing loud your song, The Lord Jehova reigns, The Lord Jehova reigns.
3. Our sovergn God has stooped to serve, And we are richly bless with gracious we do not deserve, and now He must have our best. Lift up your voice, sing loud your song, The Lord Jehova reigns, The Lord Jehova reigns.

Hey y'all, This is something I wrote just the other night. I copied it into my computer last night and haven't had a chance to edit/work on it at all. So if you have any editing ideas, PLEASE TELL ME!!! I think a lot of it sounds repetitive, but there are only so many synonyms in Word. Anyway, thanks in advance for your input!!! heart
~Cry I watch from the outside looking in. I see your pain, your hurt, your despair. You’re torn to shreds by their heartless judgment, their ignorant contempt. Your eyes dart about searching for freedom. You long for something, anything that can set you free from your cage. Your eyes pass over me, but rush back to stare into my face. I can see in your tears all the damage they’ve caused you. You cry out for my help. But how can a human rescue an angel? How can a mere mortal with no powers whatever deliver a divine creature? I know your spirit screams for me to capture you and take you away from your tormentors. But, my love, I don’t know how to help you. Your eyes pierce into mine, through the windows into the soul. The desperate longing in your cries demand I help you. Alas, dearest treasure, I have no resources to aid your escape. Oh! How I long to secret you away in me and recreate you in a wonderland far from here. I want to help rebuild your life, to heal the wounds and fade the scars they’ve left upon your soul. If only there existed some amulet or spell or potion to make them see the havoc they have wreaked. I would die a thousand deaths just to stop your suffering, But I don’t know where to begin. All I can do is pray. Then maybe, someday, I could find a way to renew you I would hold you in my mind, then dream of you every night and think of you every day until the day you appeared by my side. I would hide you in my heart, then cut you out to lay you next to me. Or I could rebuild you entirely – carry you in my womb, reform your whole existence and utterly erase from your mind all the hurt you received. I would give birth to your fresh innocence and hold you against my breast, listening to you breathing quietly in your sleep. How I wish I could make you forget! It tears my heart to threads when I hear them cut you down. But all I can do is watch and wait, Wait until the day you are truly mine. Then they will have no power over you, no ability to torment your spirit. Patience, my love. That must be the answer for now. Patience.

LittleKuroNeku Haha, how cool. blaugh Drums are such neato instuments. 3nodding Ok, here's one of my poems, really my only good one. sweatdrop Bloodprice
I'd make a fist And cut my wrist And watch the scarlet flow.
A crimson rain To drown the pain Of things that I did know.
How hopeless was I And though I would try I never could get a thing right.
How I was hated And how I was fated To wretchedness day and night.
A cutter was I And so I would cry Not crystal, but cardinal tears.
I'd sit on the floor Behind a locked door Rather than face my fears.
But now the love Of my Father above Has washed all my fears far away.
Only the flood Of Jesus' blood Has made me completed today.
The world is now bright With God's lovely light, And I can now see my way.
I'll never go back For I'll nevermore lack That lovesong that seems to say:
"My Child, My Child, So lovely and mild, I'll love you till eternety's here.
Rest in my arms Away from all harms And I'll cast away all of your fear.
Worry no more, Never cut again for The sacrifice is already made.
Stop the rain. Give up your pain. The bloodprice is already paid."
-© LittleKuroNeku 2003 A small disclaimer: I am not a cutter and I never have been. I've been strongly tempted and even went so far as to do the rubberband thing, but my faith in God has always kept me from crossing that line.
*claps* Great poem! 3nodding Very good...quite encouraging. Would you mind if I print it out and hang it on my little bullitain board in my room? Too remind me that God'll keep me from hurting myself anymore... (I used to cut myself... haven't for over a month now... Which is very good. biggrin ) It's always nice to have reminders that God will help me to not cut myself again...ever. 3nodding Thank you for sharing that poem, Neku. biggrin

2 new (slightly better) ones-- heh, kinda posting a lot here. sweatdrop
God, Don't make wake up today Don't open up my eyes Just let me hide inside myself From the monsters and the lies
I'm too lost to understand And breathing hurts too much Knees weakend by burning words Can't walk without Your crutch This world is all to much to take I'm sick and cold with fear I'm terrified to be alone Oh, please don't leave me here
Now all that I can do is trust That You're doing what is right I need Your guidance here and now To be in Your hands tonight -----------------------------------
I am independent Strong In my belief of what is right I can't give in to evil Won't back down without a fight
This world needs a hero Help And so maybe I'm not it And maybe I am just a kid But the fire has been lit
I am cool and steady Out And always within Attached to dreams of hope And now this will begin
Earth needs saving Lord I raise my voice, my tone I need Your Son, I need Your help This can't be done alone

I dont know why, but i feel i had to write this, i feel the Lord was telling me that someone needs to hear it.
It is Short, but i hope that whoever it was meant to help, will be helped ny it.
Mother
Mother, It has come to pass the end of an age the end of a time yet i never told you. i showed rejection hatred and anger, yet deep inside i felt love kindness and security.
If i could wind back the clocks, what would i do differently, what would i have said? Mother, i caused you pain, i caused you anguish and worry, if i could go back, would i say "I love you"?
It is my fault now, i always blamed you. now i have none to blame, you are here, on this bed because of me, my selfish ways. I drove you to the edge, yet you loved me. You loved me enough to walk, you left to calm down. Now i am here at the side of your bed, you wont wake up, were you not concentrating, was it not your fault? Why did your car not stop?
Mother i know its too late, i know its no use. Mother I Love you. Mother..can you hear me? Over the beeps of these machines feeding your life, Your time here has come to pass, because of me. You are here in this hospital because of me.
Mother, if i had another chance, what would i do different?

Another from me, I am currently having trouble with relationships, i know that i love someone, but i know that unless she follows the Lord, my love can never come to be. I am asking that you will pray for my friend Bex, that she will see the path to the Lord, she doesnt understand love, and she seeks desperatly for a meaning.
This is dedicated to her.
My Love.
My Love, i know how you feel, i know what you think. and i know this is love, from me to you.
My Love, face your fear, seek and find, you do not know love, you only know anger.
My Love, come with me, follow me here, find your love, from our Father above, So you can share in my joy. I know you seek, you are eager to find, but the places you look are wrong. My Love, when your journey ends, when you find what you seek, ill be waiting here till then, Come see me and talk, camo share and explain, what you have found from on high.
I Love you, i want you, yet i know it cant be, not until you finish your search. I hate sitting here, watching you jeer, at the ones you soon will become. The Father above is giving his Love, you just have to accept and believe.
I pray for you now, i pray youll find how, to love and how to be loved. I pray that you see the blossoming tree, that leads to the heavens above, it leads to the lord, it leads to the truth, of the path you are unsure of taking.

Um... This is really really old, but it made a huge difference in my life when I wrote it. I write a lot of poetry, but I read very little of it. There is a lot that is really depressing, because I write when I'm sad. This was written when I was upset at being excluded at school.
Inspiration: DC Talk
People tease you because you're weird, Your books are stained from the mud they've smeared, They call you a weirdo, a jerk, and a freak, It's because of them that you are meek.
Remember that Jesus was just like you, His body bled from the stones they threw, They struck him down from his life with a cross, But for them there's no earning without some loss.
They inspired faith in many people that day, What I have come here to say, Is if people try to make you feel meek, Just tell them, "I guess I'm a Jesus Freak."
