Will/Jack is my favourite pairing, personally.
And the most attractive guy in PotC is of course Jack Sparrow...
He's sooooo awesome!!!!
Hmmm, now that I think of it, Norrington is not bad too, so...
Ha, never mind Will/Jack, I changed my mind!

I must say some of them pairings do feak me out a bit. Especially stuff involving Bootstrap Bill *shivers at the barnicles* I do like Jack/Will though. Is it realy half-canon? Lol!

SPOILER QUESTION AHEAD, YO! :
Kay, so there's been a bit of confusion between my sister and I over the ending of Pirates 3. After Will becomes the new Davy Jones, how come he and the rest of the crew aren't fish (anymore)?
And does anybody else wonder what the heck Elizabeth is going to do alone on a random little spot of land with only Will's heart in a treasure chest to keep her company? That made me giggle a little bit. I mean, honestly.
ASIDE FROM THOSE QUESTIONS --
Ohmygodthemoviewasawesome! I was so thrilled! It was so worth the three hour sitting we did and the ridiculous amount of money it was for two damn tickets!
The beginning scene? Totally took my breath away. I can't even describe how much of an impact it had. And that little boy! So powerful.
My only complant was that they killed off Norrington. I mean, I know it was... nessessary, I guess? But still. I liked him a lot. neutral
And, and, and: The whole wedding was clever and funny and adorable, even if I rather like the idea of GAYFORJACK!Will, it was still really good and I enjoyed it immensely.
Though Elizabeth sure does get around, doesn't she? First she's set to marry Norrington and then she falls in love with Will and then she falls in lust with Jack and then she kisses Norrington and then she marries Will -- she's like one of those heroines from shoujo manga who everybody in the world loves and can't live without. I hated that about her in the second movie, but I actually found she was likable in this one. wink
And finally: Pintel and Ragetti. Holy. Crap.
I always forget about them when I list my favorite pairings, but really, they are on the list. There's an artist on DeviantART, Dark-Persian, who really got me to like them as a pairing. They're not physically appealing, because they are in no way attractive, but they have the sweetest relationship ever. One of my favorite scenes in the movie is when Ragetti is looking up Elizabeth's shirt through the floor boards, and motions Pintel over to look, but when Pintel looks she moved and a big muscle-y guy stands there instead and Pintel gets an eye full, and he looks at Ragetti in horror. xd Ragetti in general is really adorable. When Barbosa spit-cleans his eye for him, and when he does the whole "incantation" thing in Tia's ear in order to free Calypso. I have to say "aww" every time he comes on the screen. heart

@retice: The reason the old Davy Jones & crew were fishy was because they were corrupted. They weren’t doing their job, which was to ferry the souls of the dead at seas to the other side. So when Will took over, they all reverted and probably will still stay human looking as long as WIll sticks to the rules. Which he will. He is a goody-goody.
As for Liz? I don’t think she’s staying on the island. She either went back home, collected her father’s money and went somewhere she could be safe with the heart. Or she went back to the Chinese and continued pirating with them, which is what I think makes more sense for her. After living her life the way she wanted to for so long, how can she honestly go back to the life of a “civilized”, submissive woman?
As for her getting around… I think she uses her sex appeal against all the other men. That is an intelligent thing to do to considering that she’s surrounded by strong, pervy men. ^^; I mean, yeah, she can kick a** like the best of them, but sometimes the path of manipulation is the easiest way to get things. It’s much easier to cuff Jack to a boat about to be eaten by a Kraken while distracting him with a kiss than by trying to beat him up first.What I didn’t like was that she kissed Norrington on the mouth like that. It seemed a little cruel considering she knew how he felt about her. But apparently this is how she likes showing gratitude cause she tried to kiss Jack like that again at the end of the movie. ^^;;;;
I totally agree with you about Pintel and Ragetti. They are so married. <3 Barbossa and Jack’s constant c**k-and-balls arguments were awesome. The telescope, the mental balls Barbossa had hanging between his legs at the council. Genius. That movie was awesome. Oh and Will as Davy Jones… Good lord, I haven’t found Orlando Bloom so hot since he was Legolas. I always thought he was just kind of cute as Will.
