`Two Tone Charlie`

PostPosted: Fri Jan 19, 2007 11:54 pm

Sup?

I am Jason/Charlie. Whatever. I write Thought Crime with the crew PTVK (Peace Through Vandalism Krew). A few other of my buddies are in the crew with me.

I am a 17 year old male in the Southern California. We are mostly getting up in Pomona, LA, and the High Desert.

I recently got with this crew, but I started graffiti on my own about two years ago. I wa doing tattooing when I needed some cash, and a few people I did them for were doing graffiti in their rooms.

What's up everyone?

My name is Brianna, but you guys can call me whatever you want (as long as it's repeatable in polite conversation). I write with Kire and am in the chicagoland suburbs, Illinois. (Livin' in Aurora, but I can get anywhere in the area)

I actually got started in graffiti through an ex boyfriend (who I hate and he hates me now, a'int it all great?) but I don't really do too much tagging of my own. I mostly do my blackbook up and study other graffiti styles. I study a bit of the more famous writers, but I'm more interested in the average writer that's just living around and being themselves without getting a lot of fame.

So expect me to be asking a lot of questions about different things and why you do them. ^.^

Sidnay

PostPosted: Sun Mar 04, 2007 8:50 pm

Ahoy. My name is Sidnay. Im 20, live in Ottawa Canada, I am of Hungarian-Celtic decent, and have been writing for about... a month and a half lol. I personify 'Toy'. But I love doing the Graf. Its fun, exciting, fascinating and to me, its my chosen method of Satygraha (non-violent resistance). I'm actually not sure how I got into it. I remember that my friend Nik converted me into the world of Hip-Hop, and one day I decided I wanted to learn. But I actually started through my friend in my Res who is an artist. Theres not much I dont dig, though particuaraly Im studying classics and history at university and love languages, History, Music, Graffiti (surprise surprise!) and videogames. That describes my life effectively...

Yooo xp , my name is Renee but I go by a bazillion different nicknames as well. I'm turning 17 this year. I live in Mississauga Canada.. which is like 30 minutes away from Toronto. I'm of West Indian decent. I know some french (Duh) and some spanish. uhh.. I've been doing graffiti since 4 year ago when my friend showed me her blackbook and when my HS was all hype about the Hip Hop movement (unfortunetly, it's died down ALOT so all that's left are the spitkickers aka beatboxers). I listen to anykind of music but my top favorite types would be Reggae, Bachata and Underground Hip Hop. I'm working on my portfolio so that I can get into Graphic Design and University (hopefully). I will use stencils, throwups, tags.. anything to get noticed. I love bombing; it's what i do. heart
EDITT: ohh and I love customizing my sneakers and i love those graffiti style toys. Buy me one and I'll be yours forver.. that and art supplies =] haha

I'm Scott and I got started in graffiti because the first time I saw it, I was curious about what it was, why it was there and who did it, most of all. The idea of people coming in the night to paint on my backyard wall was really weird. As the years went on, I met more and more writers, learning more and more about it from each person I met. Plus, I went from like, 8-16/17 years old so, that was neat.

I met these two kids that tagged: Later and Arab. They were my first two friends that were really into graff and got me into, they named me too. After I stopped viewing it as something far off and complex, I started to just do it how I could. This one friend of mine, BUDSROCK, would tell me if I really wanted to paint so bad, pick up a rock and scratch it into anything I could. I started seeing graff as easy and possible in many ways...

I've been on and off with graffiti for about three to four years. I've had different names in the past and I like writing/practicing writing alot of different words. The name I put up has alot of different meanings to me. Pills kill and pills heal. Pills take lives and pills let life go on. Everyone takes pills.

What's up? l live on the east coast, my name (tag name) is Angst, and currently, I'm a toy with a sharpie. biggrin It was really my boyfriend that got me into graff. The way I see it, all government buildings should be open for graffiti, as it was the people's tax dollars that built them, was it not? Anyhow, nice to meet yah all.

[Enu]

PostPosted: Thu Mar 22, 2007 8:46 am

The name is Enu i write SPIN. I got into graffiti because i was raised in New York and then moved to baltimore. The scene in New York was insane and ever since a young age i always thought it was a cool artstyle. While i was there my uncle was into caligraphy and wildstyle and he gave me my name. I didnt start graff until i was in baltimore and met up with the other member of O.W.N.D Krew (Ours With No Delay). My Style is still developing because when it comes to bombing i am definetely still a toy so yea thats me

I'm Billy. Aka, G-Spot.

I'm pretty fresh into the world of graffiti. I've been interested in it, ever since I was 12 and got a hold of Jet Set Radio Future. But the past few monthes is when I have finally got the time and ability to start tagging. I'm still not very good, but I'm making progress.

I got kinda launched into it recently becuase I'm part of a pretty distinct underground seen (at least around here). It has no real major cultural push, it's more of an amalgam of diiferent scenes and cultures. On thing that is pretty strong is the graffiti though, so I started running with the guys who did that, and I've been hooked ever since.

Man, that sounds like a bitchin place to be. I live in a fairly small county. It's about 10 towns, but they are running into eachother, so it's all kinda one big place. The graffiti scene is literally about 50 people strong right now. Were working on it though.
