A sickly, yellowish-green gas engulfs the stretch of forest on the left side of the road, hiding the three hobgoblins that stand there. Two voices can be heard retching and moaning, but none of the three hobgoblins can be seen through the murky cloud.

"Fine!" Gloria replied to Dimitri. "I'll take care of this hellish beast!" Gloria drew her sword once more, turning towards the hound. She seemed a little embarrassed by the situation, but she'd take care of it soon enough. "Back to the Abyss with you!" Gloria cried before stepping closer to the Hellhound, so that it may finally taste the steel of her blade. She swung with a might arc, hoping to hit her target.

((actually you can attack the hell hound.. you were close enough for your movement to count as a five-foot step so you still can make an attack action))

((you got a 23... you forgot to add the bonus to your attack roll from Weapon Focus to your total bonus in your weapon entry. Your total attack bonus should be +9))

As your command massster.... After being placed on the silly holy knights arm, through his stealth Brendon slithered down to her arm, around her wrist, and rested his head on handle of her sword. As strong as the beast was, surely...even on a longshot...I should be able to poison it He watched patiently as the knight slahsed the beast Brendon saw his oppertune moment. POISSSON SSSPRAY!

The tiny construct's poisonous spittle flies towards the hound and lands into the open wound. The poison seeps into the wound, and suddenly the hound staggers a bit. Its breathing becomes more ragged and its black tongue lolls out of its mouth, fiery spittle dripping to the ground.
Despite its apparent weakness, the hound takes a deep breath (though you think you hear it wheezing), and the sound of a roaring furnace fills the hot afternoon air as a plume of fire erupts from its maw towards Gloria (and Brendon).
Gloria and Brendon must now make Reflex saves!
