Matt Kenseth falls back to 8th. Jimmie Johnson regains points lead as a result. Fuel is an issue for all cars. Pit road open, Kenseth is on pit road for fuel

Winner is Jeff Gordon, gets first win ever at Chicagoland, first win ever for Hendrick Motorsports. Matt Kenseth spins out and hits wall at end of race. Fans throw debris on field after win. First win at a non restrictor plate race since Indy at 2004

I think Kenseth probably misfired being so low on fuel and that's why he got spun. He would have run out of fuel anyways. Sucks for Kenseth, but no need to hang Gordon for this one.
And classless these people in the grandstands.
