How many times have I had to repeat myself in the same topic? I honestly lost count. Doesn't anyone read through a thread before posting anymore?

Michael Myers was never intended to be central to the Halloween franchise (in fact, he was supposed to be dead for good at the end of the second installment), and the original idea was to release a completely new, original movie every October with the holiday theme. The only reason Michael was brought back was because the third installment was a box-office flop and Mustapha Akkad wanted more money.

Now, I would really appreciate it if everyone would stop attacking Season of the Witch just because a slasher is not a part of the movie's narrative.

Then why didn't you say that in the first place, instead of " . . . which is nothing to do with the rest of the series"?

Rob Zombie is going to make a Halloween movie.

The original Halloween is an all time classic. It was damn creepy, and the ending was perfect. I wish they would have just left it alone.

The sequels were all second rate, cheap, mindless slasher flicks. Yeah, they can be somewhat entertaining, I guess... but I certainly wouldn't classify them as "good".

Seriously, why are the police so ********' stupid in those movies? If I was in a Halloween sequel, the second that Sam Loomis busted into my house/police station/whatever, I'd be on my way out of town before he even opened his mouth about Michael Myers. I mean, seeing as the last 55 towns Loomis visted, babbling about Myers to a bunch of dumbass police who didn't believe him were completely friggin' stripped of their population.

Loomis: Michael Myers is coming! I shot him 8 billion times!! You have to evacuate the town, now!!!

Dumbass Police Cheif #56: Ohhh, you're just crazy. They killed Micheal Myers in the last movie.

Yeah, and they killed him in the last 54 movies before that. Get it through your head that he don't ********' die! stressed
