Since they were slow to start,Chaleha had moved on ahead of them.Trotting along the path,she pulled up short,There was someone ahead."Hello?" She asked as she saw it was a mare she had seen around,but had not talked to,"How are you this evening?"

hestia turned around and looked at the mare that was talking to her. "hello there" She said looking at her now. "I am good how about you?" She asked then thinking a bit. "Where is my manners, My name is hestia." She said smiling and nodding her head.

"Well Hestia it is very nice to meet you,I am Chaleha." She said,then added,"That is Rahu,and Eloran,though they will introduce themselves when they get here." She smiled,"We are heading to the beach and you may join us if you would like." She hoped Hestia would come along.It would make everything better to have her along.Besides she wanted to know more about her new found friend.The meeting made things even brighter.

"Its nice to meet you." She said looking back at the others she pointed out. "Oh, okay I see them." She added as she looked back at chaleha. " I would love to join you if you don't think that I would be a berdon." She said with her eyes looking into hers for a response. She hated to be in the way. She liked her though, She didn't have many friends if at all. She smiled and then looked back at the others.

Chaleha saw the feeling was mutual and warmed to her even more."Oh you are no burden,we were looking for something to do because we were bored."She paused as they trotted along,"I am very happy you will join us,they will be too."She thought for a moment,"They are friends of mine,but I have not known them very long.Rahu,I have known longer than Eloran.Rahu is the black and Eloran is the brown." She kept her pace to macth that of Hestia.

Eloran was pleased with the new arrangement and moved slowly after Chaleha. It also had pleased him when she had liked his gesture with the flower. His face heated a bit as he thought of it. It had been done on impulse, but he also had never flirted with a mare before. He realized belatedly that that was what he had done, just now.
He wasn't sure how he felt about it, and so he moved only slowly after her, his eyes downcast and reserved. But hearing her talking to someone up ahead, he raised his eyes to realize she'd gotten farther along than he'd thought. He sped up a trifle to catch up with her and whomever she had found along their way.
He slowed to walk quietly behind the two mares. He whickered a quiet greeting to the newcomer, but said little else. He was going through a very unusual case of shyness. He was never shy, though one wouldn't call him bold either. Ah, what a twisted up mess this was to him! He snorted to himself and tried to shake away these odd feelings and just be HIMSELF.

Rahu only nodded to the mare that just arrived. he had kept only slitly back and did not bother to say anything yet unless asked something. still following the three he still wondered how the beach would be, as he had never been there.

She walked along with the flower in her mane.She had quite forgotten it in the excitement of meeting Hestia.And she had decided to travel along with them.Behind her a few paces came Eloran and behind him,was Rahu."I wonder how much further it is to the beach." Chaleha asked quite loudly,in hopes of another in the party coming into the conversation.

" i would not know as i never been." Rahu shruged and picked up his pace a little to catch up more. he wasn't the type to like being with in groups, which is why he only lagged far enough behind to be by himself but not too far as not to hear any of them.

Samus your post was not there before,where Rahu asked about the distance of the beach,so that is why my post is so strange.wonder why it did not show up for me?
Chaleha thought of Rahu,and hoped he would enjoy himself with the little group that had suddenly sprung up around them.
She felt largely responsibile,but it was not good to be alone all the time,and he was interested in the beach.In fact it was quite clear they were all interested in the journey's end.Which she suspected played the major role in why they were going to begin with.Still she stopped trying to reason it all out,and decided to enjoy herself.
"Oh,I want to see the moon on the big water!" She giggled excitedly!

Rahu only shook his head and continued to follow them. though he thought it might beamusing to see the moon light on the big water. not minding the group for now he flicked his tail and thought of how the beach might be. he had heared from Dyami there was sand and a huge amount of endless wate.

they were getting closer.She could smell the salt water all the time,not just the little hints that were once upon the breeze.And without warning she broke into a canter,racing ahead of Hestia who had been in the lead.She was ready to roll in the sand and wade the torrential salty surf.

Hestia looked at chaleha as she raced past her. She then looked above the ground and noticed that something was coming up. They were getting close and chaleha racing past her confermed it. She then looked behind her, then back and raced along side chaleha. She giggled as she raced to the finish.

They had entered the salt marshes and were not far from the beach now.The smell of the salty air was very invigorating.Chaleha remembered the place where the artisian spring bubbled out from the ground and provided fresh clear drinking water,so she followed the side trail to the little lake made by the spring and drank her some water.Just over the dunes lay the big water,but you could not drink it.Then she thought of Rahu,and announced,"Don't drink the water in the ocean,this is better for you."

" thanks for the warning." was all rahu said back in return to her saying that. Rahu could smell the salt in the air and gave a small snort as he had came throw the trail not far behind the two mares. " interest place this is though." he pawed a little at the sand and then sniffed at it in courioustiy really.
