I hear it doesn't have Allstar and company in it any more, which makes me want it less because I'm a shameless fan of that game's characters...

I would have liked Professor Io to show up sometime too, even if he was from an old game. Scientist who's a bit crazy and can mess with Zoid genetics? Surely there's a place for the guy.

Okay, he appears to die, but considering you can fight the end battle as many times as you want he must be able to clone himself or something...

Are their any other platforms that Zoids games are out for?

Once you start getting into older games I start to forget, Tilly knows them much better but there's quite a few of them. GBC had Genobreaker's Story, Silver Liger Zero, PSX had a few games too...

Wikipedia says you should mostly be okay with imports:

And I know Dash and Saga DS work on US models from what others have said...

Keep in mind that working on any region DS doesn't mean the text will show up in English. May seem obvious to some but experience has shown that to some it isn't....

If they had translation software that perfect I'd be very happy and very out of a possible future job...but 'tis impossible. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

Ah, they're talking about various Zoids games. XD I'm confused by now.

I never got to play Battle Legends, just Legacy. Didn't seem like they tried to make them the best English adaptions ever. XD poor games...

Forget Wikipedia, I could tell you from experience that DS is region free. However, it's just like MystickSkye said: if you can play a Japanese game on a US or UK DS, it is still a Japanese game and will be exactly as it is in Japan, language and everything.
