[Stormy.Addiction] yuffie_rp Um...Kakashi and Sakura?
I kinda think Kakashi-Sensei is to old for Sakura.
Kakashi-Sensei is 26, and Sakura is 12 ro 13...
But I guess age doesn't matter.
They both seem to get along pretty well...
So yeah, I think they should be together! ^_^ Yeah, the age difference is a bit off (in canon, at least) which doesn't really give many points for the couple being canon. However -- picture it about 3 years down the road from the time skip, and you've got yourself a liable match. 3nodding Anything's possible in the world of Kishimoto-sensei. Especially if he can put his own plant on Kakashi's windowsill. . . XD

I think that a difference in age doesn't make KakaSaku a bad pairing. Does it make it unlikely to be canon? I think so. However, 14 years isn't really that bad.

My grandfather and grandmother were eighteen years apart before my grandmother died. *Cough* That's four more years age difference between Kakashi and Sakura. Who cares about the age difference? Society these days -- thinking that age makes it wrong. They've brainwashed the world into thinking that you need to be one year older or the same age as your significant other in order for it to work out. Well, they're wrong. I'll hand you another example, and I'm sure you've heard of/seen this anime. Inuyasha and Kagome -- remember them? Inuyasha's like what 500 years older than Kagome if you think about it rationally, plus the other 50 years he was sealed to the tree, then the seventeen years he was really alive as a half-demon. That's 567 years old, dude. Compared to Kagome's 15. And it IS canon. Also -- Sesshoumaru and Rin? That's like one of the hugest pairings out there for the series -- and it technically is canon, seeing as Sesshoumaru cares for her, and she follows him and stays by his side. He's like 200 something years old (being a demon and all) and she's only eight years old. I'm not proposing THAT'S canon, but people actually accept that and then they don't accept KakaSaku. Something wrong with that? Oh, and it's not the fact of being a demon that makes you live longer and stuff, making the age difference -- blah, blah, blah. Also -- watching this movie on TBS as a matter of fact -- Something's Gotta Give. You know, with Jack Nicholson, Diane Keaton? In the beginning, he's dating Diane Keaton's daughter who is in her twenties while Jack Nicholson's character is sixty-three. Now, society embraced THAT. Why can't they embrace the age difference in KakaSaku? . . . Gracious, the world today. IT'S NOT ABOUT AGE, PEOPLE. IT'S ABOUT LOVE! *Shakes fist* evil

Teachers and students can be just as good friends as student/student relationship. And I know this because I can totally relate. Seriously, in my old school I used to be such great friends with my teachers; almost just as much as my normal friends. Heck, I even had a freaking crush on one of them, but that's not the point... the point is, yes, they are teachers... they do infact teach people... but when you think about it, so do your normal friends. I've learned SO much by just my friends alone that probably almost match up to how much i've learnt from teachers. People (mostly students) usually just cease to realize because teachers tend to be older and it would just feel awkward to be more than a friend with them. But when you think about it.. there really isn't that much of a difference. Except age. But guess what... AGE DOESN'T ******** MATTER! now i'm not going to go into a super-long essay discussing age-gaps in relationships (since stormy practically already did that xD), but i'm just going to say that it's true... there are a TON of relathionships (fiction or real) out there. My best friend's parents for example.. they're like 10 years apart. So.... really, age is not an issue at all.
Also, if you happen to believe that their relationship would be some sort of *****... then you're wrong. First of all, through us fans' eyes, Kakashi would not perv on Sakura as if she's just some sort of toy and that he is just desperate for sex or whatever... he would never do that; their relationship would be more like them both falling in love with eachother... so in that case, Sakura would actually WANT to love him/ have sex with him/ be with him... all that stuff; therefore not making it rape or whatever.

That's MORE than 14 years right there. 17 or more, in fact. And still, he's one of my mentors, like most of my friends are. Especially at my school (since it's a Christian school), we're taught to think of our teachers as friends -- and basically, all of them are. I trust and confide in them like I do friends my own age, and as if they're my own age, anyway. Plus, you can't say -- boom, they're a couple. Notice now that Sakura confides in Kakashi anyway, and in turn, he treats her like a daughter or something by telling her everything's alright whenever she worries. Their confiding, in that sense, is like friends do anyway. Alright, this is totally. . . not what you all expect. But I drew it tonight. And it's KakaSaku. MIND YOU, THIS IS JUST A SKETCH I DID IN MY SKETCHBOOK. >_< IT'S NO CG MASTERPIECE! JUST A SKETCH! First -- you're thinking. Wtf, this isn't them. Well it is -- just ask Super Pantless Girl. It's from an AU (alternate universe) roleplay we're in. I play Sakura, who is around 23. Kakashi is 37. (SO IT'S NOT *****. >_>) Anyway. In our AU, we have cars, guns, great stuff like technology and what not. Sakura /has/ a gun, but she doesn't know how to use it. That is until Kakashi offers to teach her. So, this was my ideal scene of him teaching her how to use a gun. (By the way -- Kakashi doesn't have a mask (YAY), but he's emotionally attached to his fedora, or hat, instead -- as shown.)  Sakura: Are you screwing with me? Kakashi: . . . Hahaha, no. Hence the smirking Sakura and the laughing Kakashi. Enjoy (even though it sucks)! ;D
