Whats wrong with independent study? biggrin I used to be homeschooled. And though in some ways i regret it, it still helped me be more mature and advanced then most people my age at my highschool. But compared to otheres i'm a bit on the slow side especially in math but engluish is my good subject...and you know i'm just going to shutup now...

I liked th Count of Monte Cristo. Though the book had a much more tragic ending than the movie. crying

And yes, the Three Musketeers is a must-read. That goes without saying.

Everyone's gotta read the classics, right? wink

((Nothing's wrong with Independent study/Homeschool. Except that I was a hermit. eek wait a sec . . . I still am. sweatdrop ))

Haven't you read Abhorson or Laralel(sp) Yet? How about the seventh tower? What about Earagon? If that's all you've read in the past year, you're probably falling behind. I can't count how many I've read last summer alone!!(I haven't read much lately, but still.....)

my dad bought me a church-related book for my b-day. It's a new series called "The Brothers". The first one is the "prologue", and the only one i've read. It's a series about the preexistence and the war in heaven. It's really interesting and cool. I believe he got it at Deseret Book.

Orson Scott Card.

He wrote the Ender saga. But he also wrote a cool sci-fi/fantasy novel based on the Book of Mormon. eek

Mind you, it's just based on the BoM. It's not supposed to be a parallel. sweatdrop
