OH, another incident I forgot to add from last night. Cause what is MS without oddness? Was in the first Warning Street at Henesys heading back when someone passed and said hi. They they asked if I could hold something for a couple minutes for them and immediately dropped it (50 charms of undead.) I was like yeah... sure just let me know when you want it back. He was I think lvl 26, like a mage or theif or something, named crazyjesus. So it seemed a bit odd to me that he had them in the first place, I havn't fought undead shrooms yet, but I figured he probably had another higher level account or had been given em.
Time passed. Kinda monitored where he was. Ended up getting kicked off, and MS crashed rather than closing out properly so took a lot of extra time to get back on. I was kinda afraid he though I'd made off with them, but he wasn't logged on anymore.
Went off and did stuff for a while and later on checked and he was back. Whispered him asking if he wanted me to come give them back and he was like 'oh those were for you.' sweatdrop Um okay. Then he asked if I needed money and I said 'sure I always do' so he said to meet him and he gave me 1k and some arrows biggrin So that was rather nice of him even though the situation was odd. I NPCed the charms just because I don't have the space to spare and I don't have any quests coming up soon with them.

That was probably just a little test 3nodding
I do that sometimes too just to see how people are. If they pass (whisper or give back the stuff) then I give them something they need. Otherwise I just lose something that I find while lvling normally.

That's cool 3nodding I was kinda wondering if it was something like that, he didn't seem very concerned about getting them back. Ah one day I'll be high enough level to be able to randomly give cooler stuff. I can't really afford to pass on decent equip drops since I need the mesos. But I drop low-level quest items around a lot.
Well, about Mapling time! Need to get my warrior over to Victoria and pass some stuff, then get back to leveling my archer and snag those lvl 25 quests.

Last night was nothing terribly exciting. Spent a bit transferring items to my warrior, wow its so nice to have actual space in my inventory! I kept checking it to see if it was full and I'd still have slots left! I picked up all kinds of crap even though I didn't need it and would NPC is periodically to add to my meso stash. Just spent a lot of time solo leveling around. Went over to Ellenia to pick up Arwen's quest. Leveled a bit with the green mushies. Went back to the Harbor to pick up Jane's quest and randomly gave some n00bs some pots and made em happy 3nodding I guess there are no more true n00bs right now since its been a while since the last open sign-ups, so most people who signed up already have an account a decent ways along and the low level characters are secondary characters. But its still fun to help people. Stopped at pig beach a bit and worked my way over to Perion before I called it a night. I *finally* got Nella to give me the second citizens request! I think whoever said if someone else is talking to her she won't do it, its true! I tried twice with no luck, but saw someone standing like they were talking with her so waited a bit and tried a 3rd time and bingo she gave it to me! I'll have to remember to only try with nobody else near to her in the future. So... anyone want to sell me some screws for that quest? I know I can get them from the jump quest but I simply think I'm not going to be able to complete it sweatdrop I may have to beg Emi to do it for me or something. If I'm reading things right, there's a total of 5 jump quests in the game so far? I tried the Shumi's coin one and totally gave up there too... crying *sigh*
I didn't level like I wanted to last night, got kicked a couple times which is rather slow to relaunch and got tired. I got to 90% though so I should be able to level tonight. I plan to probably stay around Perion fighting stumps and boars. Maybe will head to Ant Tunnel to fight some horny shrooms, I don't like the setup in the trees since most platforms I can't shoot them from a distance well.
Oh yes and last I checked they were still giving out cakes. What towns have NPC maple moderators or whatever? I can't seem to find one in each town, other than Henesys and the one on Maple Island. I have noticed some other changes since the patch though... some NPCs that didn't talk say things. And there's talk about this game event with a list of games and a possible demon type item reward?? I screencapped what I saw but I'm sure someone else has by now. If you click on each game it just says 'description' instead of a real description so obviously its not done yet. I assume this will have to do with minigames.

I have 5 spare screws. Leftovers from making my Orange Goldrunners.

Kit, I don't know if it's true that Nella won't give you the quest if someone else is talking with her, 'cuz several times, it was pretty empty around her (I'm on GMT+1 and many times MS is quite empty when I play XD) but I still couldn't get the quest. The only way for me is to repeatedly double-click on Nella and hit enter, double-click, enter, etc. etc. xp

Aww I don't know what I'd do without you guys from the guild helping me out heart A moment of thanks for Finalecho, Naehev, and Savante whose names I can now finally remember most of the time. Got my screws, and now I have a white Pieterra (sp?) eek
Overall a good Mapling day last night. Wasn't on that long, but did what I wanted to get finished. Got to lvl 26 (yay!). Wow this level really made a big difference. I feel like, so much stronger. I was afraid I was going to have to wait until lvl 27 for that one more point in DEX, but Naehev helped me understand how you can use item stat bonuses to make up for it, so I'm wearing all my new equipemnt even though my raw score is one short! xd This is excellent, I can deal with only needing one additional level. I had been seeing all these lvl 25 bowmen around with the new equips and it depressed me a little. Someone in the dungeon road was like 'get a better bow!!' and I was like 'working on the stats for it! crying ' Mmmm, much faster shoes, and a bow that's fast. I can actually run away from stuff more and then turn and shoot! I don't look that great, but good stuff. The hat for this level makes it look like I have no hair so I've taken to wearing the star bandanna, the def bonus is the same though the archer had gives +5 hp which isn't that big of a deal, I don't think 5hp are going to save me.
I finally reached 100k for the first time! I know its not much in the grand scheme of things, but it feels like a lot. I'm always dumping mesos in storage so they don't tempt me, I only keep about 5k on myself at a time for pots. Since I won't have new equips coming up for 4 more levels I should be able to keep saving decently, fire boars drop well sometimes. LOL I've never reached 100k on Gaia, I think the most I had was like 80k and that was a while ago, most of its gone now. Finished Nella's second quest, and am going to click on her till she gives me the third! Cause technically I should be able to be doing the second set of quests from her. I guess maybe it just takes a lot of persistance then? Maybe its some kind of glitch since no other NPCs give you a hard time about giving you their quests. Or is there some kind of waiting time between? Because usually the other ones you have to wait about 5-10 levels between their quests, but Nella's aren't really like that depending when you get them.
Partied with a friend for a little bit. Mostly stuck around Perion, whee bringing down some boars so long as they don't mob me. Found a spot in the first dungeon road where you can kinda lure a couple up at a time onto the platform and kill them if there's too many below. Hunting below is good when a high-level person comes by and clears the place.
Only downside, I was on my little warrior for a little bit at first, since I wanted to get her to lvl 10 and get a job. I was pretty close, but not quite there. Woo its hard to get that last 20% around Perion, I had wanted to check the stat requirements before my last level. I had several people randomly start trades with me. The first wanted to sell me 3 red pots for 400 mesos. I was reluctant, I told him I only have 1000 mesos (which is true for that character) and he threw in an orange and wanted that much then! Then he backed to 500 but that's still a rip. Another person wanted to trade me a so-so item for a bunch of ores. Geez I didn't think people tried to rip off n00bs that much!! I'm debating how much archer money to use on my warrior equips since I really wante better archer stuff but can't do much with my warrior until she gets equips. Hopefully after the first round she can support herself.

OH yeah, Party Quests...
I think I'm of a good level to attempt it. I assume you can only do it up to level 30? I'd like to do one once just for fun, to have tried it. Erm, I don't really know what I'm doing, though I did read over the info a bit on a site. Also, I'm not really sure what the big deal about having someone with tracking is sweatdrop
But if anyone would like to do one, let me know. I'd like to go with 2-3 other people, preferably one who has done it before?

Party quests are from level 21-30. Getting a track is important to the leader because then they'd know when they have to start clicking like a madperson xd
I think I might know someone who'd like to 3nodding I'll get her to message you when she gets on =3

Haha, me and my friend, we went to lith harbor to get some new hot clothes. We bought ourselves some noob clothes and asked "higher levels" (10-15) if they had some spare mesos. If they gave us mesos (probably around 100-1k), we gave them 15k back. ^^

Eeee more I don't know what I'd do without you guys gushing! Thanks hetabruden for hooking me up with lvl 30 equips! I had just added that to my front page list of stuff I wanted to get. And you had Brown Markers!!! Yay now I can stop worrying about getting the materials to synth them! Going to see if I can still get the emeralds to change them.
(Note to self: Dropped by: Stump, Green Mushroom, Zombie Mushroom, Nependeath, Dark Yeti)

Had mucho help getting the octo legs to finish Nella's quest (thanks!), and picked up the next. Got an extra pair of Blue Diros gloves (lvl 20) from it, so if anyone needs LMK. I just like doing quests and wanted to get to doing the rest of hers 3nodding Hehe I understand when you're higher level its fun to get easy items for others when you don't have anything much else to do and leveling gets a bit tiring.

Now working on the Jane Boar quest (wild boar teeth and horney mushie tops) and the one with the stirge wings and lots of jr necki skins. I've seen a couple Stirges in the Subway but they vanish before I can shoot at them, I assume they're hard to get? Are they tougher than the jr wraiths? I can't kill those very well at all but I can take down the jr neckis half-decently.

Hmm, am I missing anything? Can't think of anything else to add.
Unfortunately late night is probably the best time for me to PQ, I don't have a single day off this week (going to b***h at management about that) so if I'm on during the day its usually for an hour or so at most. Weekends are usually particularly busy for me. I felt bad, a lot of people I knew were on yesturday! But I had plans to see a friend and we don't get time off together that often. Had a lot of fun though, climbed trees, ate pizza, and played Zelda Four Swords which rocks with four people. heart

So its so they know everyone is in position? Is it hard to get all the puzzles done in time? The last couple seem like they could take a while in particular. I'd kinda want to do the first time with friends in case I screw up nobody will be mad sweatdrop
I think my friend iRain would probably also be intersted in a PQ though I'm not sure if she really knows what all is involved.

Played for about an hour before work... met a nice person, karamite or kalamite, something like that. Level 31 spearman. Was hanging out around the area you get the warrior job advancement killing boars and stumps. We talked a bit, she's from Europe. Ended up randomly giving her my Blue Diros for the archer she's working on 3nodding But if someone had wanted it you can have the one I'm using when I hit lvl 30.
I don't know why, but several lupins popped up in that area which was rather annoying. Two on the bottom, and later two on the top. Tried to hit the bottom ones just to see, I miss a lot but I can actually hit them here and there, but between them and the boars they were hurting me too much and it wasn't worth dying over. The ones on the top though, I stood a platform away and plinked at them till they finally keeled over xd Mwa ha ha! Yeah I have a grudge against lupins. They laugh at you and knock you off ropes with bananas that hurt a lot. So it is pretty cool being an archer and having the high accuracy so you can hit things several levels earlier than everyone else even if you aren't doing as much damage as them 3nodding The two other warriors there couldn't hit them at all.

Oh yeah, before I forget, two quick questions~
Why when talking about skill advancement do they sometimes say to save like 10 points and spend them all at once? What difference does it make?
And aren't you supossed to get 3 skill points when you get your first job? My warrior only got one and I couldn't remember.

No, only one party can be in party quest at one time in one channel. Keeping a track of the other party gives you a rough estimate of when you should start clicking to get back in.

The saving 10 points is generally to save the amount of mp pots that you use ^^;;. Sometimes it's not worth it to put more into a skill if it doubles the mp cost until it makes a significant increase. You only get 1 point at job change so there's nothing wrong there ^^;;;
