Kami slashed at the rock, but the fire didn't penetrate it, the claws merely dissappered in a small puff of smoke. She sighed. It was worth a try. She didn't get how she could do that, though she had figured out how to cross a river without swimming (all fire benders hated swimming). She brought the fire back around to in front of her. She made a halo of fire around her head, so she could feel the hear on her ears.

Kami did something similar with the halo like she had with the wings. She put her hands up, and gradually threw small amounts of flame at the invisible enemy. She then created one last ball of fire. She made it was large as she could. She made it about as big as herself, sweat pouring from her forehead. She threw the ball at a tree, which was instantly inceneratied. She wiped her brow, and turned back towards the town.
