Hi! I'm Phoenix_Blue. I turned 18 about two months ago. I've been into Laurell K Hamilton books for about 4 years, I started reading them when I was in grade nine. Soon after starting to read them she became my favorite author, and that is where a large portion of my money, as a poor university student, has gone ever since, to buying her books.

Hello, I am Aersiroth the Fallen. I myself turned 17 on June 29th. I am a Junior in high school, I started on the Anita Blake series last year, and have not yet read Cerulien Sins (SP?), sadly... I am a big fan of the Lycanthrope world, but I cannot STAND Richard, I hate Jean Claude too... Hate 'em both... Anyway. I run my own Guild called Bloody Indulgence, which our dear D.Monica, is a member and Moderator, of. If you want to check it out, search it up, or ask Monica or myself for a link. Whoops, I probably should of done this before my 19 posts...erm...anyhoo! My nickname is Mienai, I'm a girl, and I'm 14 years old. I got into the Anita Blake series by looking for some vampire books to read in 7th grade. Narcissus in Chains was the first book to come into the library, so that's what I read. These books have gotten me to start reading; I hated it before. I'm currently reading Incubus dreams, and I'm over half-way done. I recently met Laurell, and I think she is one of the most wonderful people I have ever met. Jonathan is awesome too. Hmmm...anything else? Since it's been a while since I've checked this thread I'll use this post to say Welcome to those I've yet to meet =] Thanks, and she's on tour now...you should check the dates and places on her website...atleast I think they're on her website..maybe she's not on tour...I duno anymore...

*waves* Hi! I'm new to the guild. I've only recently come to know and love this series. Actually, this part summer my English Professor lent me quite a few books, and I got hooked. The story lines are essentially independant from one-another, which I find a refreshing change from other fantasy books I read. The character development is what keeps me coming back for more, and I really like that you can see Hamilton's writing improve as the series progresses. biggrin

I am Lisette. I am 24 years old and have read the entire Anita Blake Series in the past year. I am waiting for my fiance to finish "Incubus Dreams." He is not sure I will like it; apparently Anita changes quite a bit in this book as the power of the Triumvirate increases and changes. We will see. I am interested in how Laurel K. Hamilton will evolve the story and the characters. It has been facinating to see how her writing style has changed through the books.
Anyway, more about me. I am a college senior going for my Bachelor's degree in Anthropology. I should be finished by the end of the Spring next year. biggrin I am divorced and have a 5 year old child. I am engaged to a fellow student, a Computer Science major. I am a pagan, a worshipper of the Earth, Sun, and Moon. I am open-minded and tolerant of all beliefs and feelings, so long as others treat me accordingly. I am new to Gaia, and look forward to having many interesting adventures here.

Opps, I got so caught up lurking yesturday that I posted before I introduced myself. Sorry about that.
My name is Mayhem, and I am 25-years-old. I discovered Anita two years ago and immediatly purchased every single book I could. I worship the series, and can't wait until she writes a new one.
I am a heretic, as I don't particularly like Anita. I love the secondary characters, such as Damian, Jason, Marianne, I loved Leonora from OB, Edward is my baby!!!! So many more, from the Lamia to the Swans...
Raina and Gabriel were my favorites. I know, I know, they were both really bad. And I have on more then one occasion been accused of being mentally insane because of my love of them. Seriously, it was recently used agianst me in an argument to try and prove that I'm crazy.
Out of every male in Antia's books, Gabriel is the one I'd love to "date."
I am an Anita addict, even if I don't like Anita herself I still love her world, and the books that host her.

Hi! My name is Angie and I am 23... my friend got me hooked on Anita back in 2000. She gave me Guilty Pleasures during one of our Psych classes. I would sit in class during lecture and read it. stressed I then borrowed everything up until NC... I met Laurell at a book signing outside of Philly. She is so cool! And her hubby is the greatest! Yes, very nice pictures, but does anyone know why she wear sunglasses all the time...? I guess it's because of the flash of the camera....10,000 flashes in 1 hour can't be good for the eyes... 3nodding
