"Oh really?" Gwynna questioned. idly scratching Nusa behind the ears. "Have they anything good to say?" She shifted towards Caroline, awaiting an explanation.
Suddenly remembering her manners, she said, "I'm Gwynna, and the little one here is Nusa." Gwynna smiled and the little creature crawled across her lap to sniff at Caroline.

"Welcome," she says, scritching Nusa behind the ears. "Aye, the Banyas always have something good to say. It's best to heed their advice, ye ken? They know things--they're in touch with the Meij."

It took a moment to understand Caroline's speech, but soon enough Gwynna caught the rhythm. She nodded; growing up in a gypsy caravan, she was familiar with the banyas, although she didn't have one for herself.
"Yes, of course," Gwynna agreed. "I take it there's been.. news, then, of sorts?" The woman glanced around the fireside at the other caravan-members gathered there.
Nusa held Caroline's hand carefully between her paws, sniffing at her skirts and skin. Talking was just noise; having her ears scritched was much more interesting.

Kala had seen another arrive, with her she had a red panda. Her eyes narrowed slightly and she licked her lips, rearragning her body and shifting her weight about.
Amkia sitting next to her suddenly started shivering and sniffling, not letting out a proper cry but it was enough to alert Heather that something was wrong. She walked over and picked up Amkia and grabbed Kala by the scruff of the neck. "Sorry everyone, I need to get Kala home, I don't want her to hurt anyone." She gave an apologetic smile and started to drag Kala back home, which the jaguar was obviously not happy about.

Lorelei rose as well, lifting Vanna from Ro's lap as the little girl reached after Amkia. "I think I'll follow suit. It's getting rather late, anyway... I wish you all luck in deciphering our riddles!" Lorelei hurried after Heather, as their wagons were right next to one another, ready to offer help if help was needed.

Heather turned and saw Lorelei following. She smiled and while in a strange position holding baby and jaguar she looked grateful that if anything went wrong someone would be around to help. "Can you take Amkia? Just till we are closer to the caravans. Kala is horribly strong." She smiled looking hopeful.

Lorelei took Amkia as well, carrying one babe in each arm. "Of course," she said happily as they walked into the dusk. "Neither of us is used to dealing with much more than a tiny bird, mm?"

Heather smiled thankfully and nodded her head as she went back to her caravan to find a way of tieing up Kala and getting some nice rest!

Kale's smiled returned, glad to see that the concern in Ro's face was trivial. He hummed a little to himself, taking the coins draped across Ro's skirt and tapping them together in a simple rythm.

Rojiza smiles and giggles a bit at the amusement Kale had found in her skirt. She hums a counterpart melody to his little tune.

Kale tries to continue his song, but it's hard through the laughter that he's begun to spout. It's lalala, giggle, lala, giggle. He clicks the coins faster.

Rojiza continues to hum, because that's all she can contribute short of making her own rhythm. But her slapping her own thighs for a beat would dislodge Kale, which would bring the whole sonata out of balance.

The little song continues, Kale's contribution to the overall sound being not much. He was too little to understand the concept of harmonies and rythm, so his tune was wonky and awkward, but he was enjoying himself immensly. He continued until..
"ACHOO." Kale sneezed, loud, and nearly fell off of Ro's lap.

Kale looks surprised, but smiles, sniffing. It's getting late, and his eyes begin to droop. He leans heavily against Rojiza, no longer willing to support his own weight.
