Peaseblossom nodded, " Romeo and Julliet sounds nice, I'll go upstairs to the Libary and see if I can find it."

Akuma approached the door to the laboratory, and knocked firmly, but gently. Felling slightly happy becasue she had been summoned earlier by Doc, and she was desperately hoping that it was for that adorable little chip, that she had set her eyes on a few days ago.

Doc looked down at the newest file on his desk. It was just one of the typical manilla folders, but he was fairly happy to finally be delivering this chip. It was the last of the Pirate generation, and he was thrilled to finally have them off his hands so he could get on with the desperately-needed remodeling around the lab.
He heard the knock on the door and gave the folder a last look before getting up to answer it.
"Hello?"

"Hello, Doc. I'm here to pick up the little guy," said Akuma as she tried to keep her excitement under control.

Doc had to admit he liked the enthusiasm, but he had a few things to discuss first. "Before we get to that," he stated, "I'd like to know if you have any questions about the project? Or the children?"

"Nope, no questions. You made everything clear enough a few days ago," replied Akuma.

Doc frowned. But he liked to talk about the genius (if he did say so himself) engineering behind the bodies of Kybernetiks. "So you know about their energy systems?" he asked, not totally hiding his dismay in being able to play know-it-all.

"Huh. Energy Systems were never mentioned in anything you showed or told me about," said Akuma. "So then could you tell me about the energy systems, found in the chips and other stages."

Even though he hid it well, Doc was elated. Here was something he knew about! He could talk about metabolisms! It was his patented system, after all.
"I've worked it out so they can get energy from food once they have shapes. It's rather complicated, but basically carbohydrates are converted by their bodies into electricty, which is stored in the internal battery. But... Proteins and fats do nothing for them, so they're best avoided. Stick to fruit, chocolate, grains... that kind of thing."
"They need to sleep for it to work, though," he added, almost as an afterthought. "Otherwise they'll slip into the mechanical equivalent of a diabetic coma."

"So just like a normal child, except for the proteins part," said Akuma after she listened to Doc Albert explain the Energy Systems.

"No high-fat foots, either," Doc re-stated. "Their bodies can't break it down."
That said, he reached into the folder and drew out a computer chip. There was an amulet on a chain wrapped around it, but Doc removed it and dropped it back into the folder. "He'll get this back later," he added, holding the chip out for Akuma to take.

Akuma reached out and gently took the chip from Doc. And gently set it on the palm of ner hand, and began to admire the markings on the chip. "Wow. Thank you so much Doc," said Akuma as she bowed her head in a respectful Thank You way, and then looked back up. "Is there anything you didn't mention I should know about," asked Akuma before she left.

Akuma didn't even make a comment to that her look said it all, it was the greatest WTF look the world you had ever seen. eek and at the same time thinking "What a nut."

After a very exciting time with the the little chip, Akuma was returing to the lab because of a summance from Doc. Akuma approached the huge doors to the laboratory and knocked, waiting for an answer.
