"Trick shots? Sure, I'd love to see them." D grinned, a bit of showing off for entertainment value was perfectly fine with her.
Removing the rack and then going over to take the first shot. Sighting along her cue and then hitting the white ball rather hard. It rolled smooth and fast along the velvet table and hit the triangle of balls just off center. Still, it had the same effect and the balls scattered everywhere, none sinking however.
"Right, your turn now is it? Oh and which do you want to sink? The big ones or the little ones?" She asked Tenez, stepping out of the way so he could take his shot.
(( Whee! whee Power chaos in the pool! ))
Sidney looked up in amasement as Erae disappeared ino darkness, only to reappear on the other side of the room. What the? He didn't know he could do that!
Glancing over at Acia, the only other velvet still in the water with him, he wondered if he should show off something of his own too. Why not? Swiming over and circling her, he concentrated on the water near him. Making it turn decidedly colder than it was before, then heating it up to a pleasant warmer-than-luke-warm temperature.

((Eck, sorry... I'm so behind x.x Been busy...))
Acia was extremely relieved when her head broke surface, and she immediately swam after Erae towards the shore. However, it was much harder for her to climb out than him, due to her size and 'wings'. When she was about halfway out, Sid's splash caught her full across the back, and she toppled back into the pool. But this time she managed to regain the surface easily, treading water as best she could. It really wasn't bad, swimming... She'd just have to be careful not to get too tired.
The glider watched curiously as Sid circled her, a slight chill running through her as the water suddenly grew colder, a second shiver running down her spine when it turned warm. She chittered softly, her own version of a laugh, then decided to show off her own talent a bit. Within seconds a light breeze was running through the pool room, brushing ripples over the water and growing in strength as it neared the glider. Acia directed the gust into the water, and soon a stream of bubbles could be seen, moving up beneath her and lifting her from the water, guiding it to set her on the side of the pool.
Grinning cheekily, she shook her fur as dry as possible, chittering out towards Sid. Swimming was fun, but she would wait until she was a child to try it again. Water was thick, and wet, and made her fur stick together. She much preferred air.

Padding over to LP, Erae tugged on her arm. "C'mon, let's go swimming! You look so sad... you need to cheer up!" He exclaimed, putting on his best happy face.
"I don't knooowww. If I knew, I'd tell you!" Erae said to Anastasia, flailing as he hung onto LP. "Maybe it's because... you're ... you? And I'm me?" He scratched his head; it made no sense to him after he said it, but he thought he knew what it meant.

*LP chuckles* alright *she waves of the sad* nah not sad just in thought and I kinda don't normally smile to much. *her eyes were about all one needed to pay attion to. They really showed how she felt.*
Hrmm it seems to me kinda like the err 'dissapering trick' I can do but mine's not as talented as eraes. Cause I don't really dissaper. *she nods as he says the last part* Hai that's right erae everyone's different and everyone has something neat or strange they can do and it's just their talent. *she snickered having a feeling he had confused himself she hoped he understood that*
*a thought floated thru her mind on how nice it would be to have her demonic powers back. Atleast it'd be back to the good ol' life but she knew that people wouldn't trust her again, thou she didn't know how many really trusted her now. Her eyes seemed to reflect two emtions at the same time, happiness and a sad wondering.*
Anyhow *she snaped herself outa her thought and looks at the veletes* we gonna go swim or we gonna just stand around?

((Well... this thread seems to have been murdered... And we still have six days to go?))
Anastasia sighed at the realization that she might not be able to do what Erae could do. "But," she protested, "I want to do it... I want to be able to do everything!"
Then, at LP's interrogative, she flounced out onto the surface of the pool once more, and said, "Oh, all right. We'll swim. C'mon, Erae, I'll keep you on toppa the water this time!"

Erae nodded to Anastasia, smiling. "What if you can't do everything?" He grinned and sat on the edge of the pool. "All you gotta do is follow the trends, and you'll be alright." He splashed a small bit with his feet, seeming to think a little.

Sidney watch Acia lift herself out of the water. Impressed with the wind that was obviously under her control. In that short period he had seen all the other velvets in the room do something odd. Maybe they all had some sort of strange talent?
Ah but Acia was out of the pool now, no more swimming for her. Yet the others were making to get in and swim some more.... He weighed up the options.... he'd already had a bit of a swim and the house still needed exploring further, so he decided to get out of the water too and go with Acia. Swimming up to the edge and hauling himself out, his wet scales shining as he moves.

Anastasia bounced idly on the surface of the water, using it like a trampoline. The surface near where the little jack-booted darling danced was thick enough to support a body, but as one got further away, her power waned and the water's surface thinned back to ordinary.
If one of the others so desired, it would be possible for them to join her, so long as they were willing to bounce with her.
"He says that if I can learn enough, I can do anything!" Anastasia informed Erae, "then I can make my own trend! ... What's a trend, anyway?"
She stopped her bouncing long enough to scurry along the edge of the pool to where Erae sat, and scooped up a ball of water in her hands. Stepping out of the pool, she let the surface fall back to normal as she concentrated on the orb held between her blunt-fingered hands. "What're you gonna do when you grow up, Erae?" she asked, "I wanna be able to do anything I want to."

*LP walked to the deep end of the pool to see how deep it really was* hrmmm *looking at it her head tilted she pondered how long it would take her to get to the shallow end if she dove into the depths of the pool, or even if it was deep enough to do so. Looking for how many feet the water was on this end she pondered it still unsure if she would try or not. Listening to the veletes comments slightly echo thru the room*

Erae stared at the water, thinking over Anastasia's question. "A trend is... something cool. Like, a fashion in clothing, that everyone else wants to be like you, I think. I like starting trends." He scrunched up his face, splashing water on it, as he was beginning to grow tired. He didn't want to sleep now!
"I want to... enjoy what I'm doing now. I like being who I am..." He trailed off, feeling slightly guilty. It was true, he would go along with whatever other people were doing, just to be their friends... but would they still accept him, even if he did that? It was all so confusing.

Anastasia thought about that, then asked, "But you said you would go WITH the trends... what trends have you made?"
As she thought, she lost track of the water for a moment, and it splashed between her fingers onto the surface of the pool deck. Hesitently, she asked, "Hey, Erae? I'm kinda tired... umm... wherem'I sp'osed to sleep?"

Standing up, Erae smiled. "There are lots of rooms upstairs. Kanthy showed me one day, and they're all themed differently. Do you care which one you get? I can show you all of them if you'd like."

*LP sat at the eadge of hte pool watching the two veletes, her head titlted, and then looks back down at the water* hrmm *not really sure if she wanted to dive in this but hey it was deep enough to....*
