"Whoever doesn't keep up gets left behind. If they have a problem with us, thy get left behind." Hykoshi said stiffly. "We need cooperation, and though my troops are free-willed they follow my orders to an unparellelled(sp?)) level. If anyone is to be subordinate, they will be."

"I see..." Issildia replied in a doubtful manner as she averted her gaze from his. "Grant your trust to those you see fit Hykoshi but know that the potential for treachery exists within the hearts of all. I have watched entire armies be destroyed because a supposed ally betrayed their word..." she concluded grimly; distant memories of an age long past surfacing briefly in her thoughts before she quickly disregarded them as she noticed Kyrion's attention turn to a figure garbed in the style of a citizen of this city who was standing some distance away outside of a dusty inn that had probably seen better days.
Without a word Issildia nodded to Kyrion who immediately disappeared into the city once again, quickly making his way to the figure at the inn. The two of them briefly disappeared around the corner before Kyrion reappeared and approached the group once again, though now dangling from his right hand was a small cloth satchel that more no identifying features upon it.
As he silently handed the bag to Issildia it became apparent that the figure at the inn was simply one of the Iliriya.
Slowly she opened the satchel and emptied the contents into her gloved left hand. It was then that both she and Kyrion froze upon recognizing the contents of the bag.
"Impossible..." The azerian said darkly, finally breaking the silence.
Issildia made no comment as she looked down at the silver and onyx pendant that now rested in her hand.
"It must be a forgery..." she muttered finally, before quickly handing the now empty bag to Kyrion and using her now free hand to draw forth a similar pendant of silver and onyx that she always wore beneath her clothes.
Silently she held the two amulets side by side, her own hung from her right hand and the second identical one hung from her left.
"Where was it found?" she asked Kyrion.
"Natori." he replied grimly.
"Darsha's remains were never recovered...there is a chance..." Kyrion stated before Issildia cut him off.
"There can not be two Nevar crests in existence, it has been over two millennia...if Darsha survived then he would not have waited until now to show himself." she said before returning her own amulet to her neck. "Kyrion...return to the keep...I want any and all still stationed there without assignments to investigate this matter. Return to me when you have news." "Issildia if it is him...and this is nothing more than a clever trap to draw you out..." Kyrion said as he turned to leave.
"If it is him." she said with persistence. "Then we shall award him the honor of experiencing death a second time." she uttered; a tone of warning etching into her words. At this Kyrion stepped back frowning slightly before he leapt into the air and took to the sky, white wings fanning out to catch the air currents that would take him back to Llewellyn.
Without speaking she tossed the newly acquired Nevar crest to Azure.
"Do you think it is possible...?" Issildia questioned as she finally looked at Azure, a faint strain of doubt apparent in her voice. "That...any of them could still be alive...?"

~Azure only raised a hand to catch the pendant once it was tossed to him. He looked at it, and glared. He could smell a very foul stench on its metal. Although the others would not have been able to detect such a stench, he knew it all to well. He replied in the same subtle manner that he usually used, but his words were those of which he knew she would not want to hear.~
I do not think it is possible for them to have survived their executions...however, I do belive that it would be possible for someone to revive them....just as I did two of my subordinates. They would need the assistance of either one such as myself, or a very powerful necromancer.

Issildia looked at him gravely. "Ryera..."
Turning away slightly she lowered her gaze, "Damien was the only of that line that was unaccounted for at the beginning of the Reclamation, after my father's death...as well as Darsha's. When the regent took control of Larovia, all traces of Damien vanished...Keirdon was restored and the Aldrene desert was reclaimed by the people." Issildia crossed her arms stiffly. "If it is him...then he will have had two thousand years to perfect his art...resurrecting one of my blood will have been barely a show of his power...making him far more dangerous than his brother ever was."

~Azure listened to her words intentively. He knew the truth behind what she spoke. Unfortunately the probabilities of these events were higher than he cared to let on.~
Indeed. And if he has aligned himself with the Infinitus...the situation will have grown worse long before we arrive.

Issildia bowed her heard slightly, knowing well the accuracy of his prediction. "By dawn tomorrow my people will be spread across the entirety of the four realms...if it is Damien and the worst has come to pass...we will know of it in time enough to hopefully counter whatever he has planned." Finally she leveled her gaze. "We dealt with his brother...we can most certainly deal with Damien." she concluded, though she silently doubted her own words knowing well that after all this time, Damien Ryera would no longer be the person he once was.

Before they had started speaking, Hykoshi had said, "Anyone who betrays me shall taste my steel." Jinzo seemed slightly unnerved at this, but said nothing. As the conversation unfolded, Hykoshi listened, "Is he related to the long-dead Reinsen Nevar? Demon of Larovia?"

"Not quite a demon..." Issildia replied in a low tone. "Reinsen was my father..." she uttered in a grave tone.
Issildia fell silent for a moment as she glanced away briefly before continuing.
"But yes Reinsen was Darsha's brother...Issildia said, finally turning back to face Hykoshi.
"During the time that Darsha met his end, the beginnings of the Reclamation of the three kingdoms began...at that time things were chaotic to say the least and Darsha's remains were never found. Speculations have been made that suggest that he survived, and still lives...but even if he was indeed slain...a necromancer of sufficient power could resurrect him. If the Infinitus are allied with the last necromancer of the Ryera as well as Darsha Nevar...then I fear that Azure is right, the situation will have grown worse long before we arrive."

"I see. all we can do is prepare for the worst. A Ryeran, you say? Where does he hail from?" He had heard mention of the far away Reinsen Nevar, and a few stories of his downfall, but not many, as it was quite a long distance to the places it occured.

~As Issiildia went on to explain the situation to Hikoshi, Azure had his attention focused on other matters. He had cuaght a glimpse of someone watching them from a distance. He did not know who he was, but he was sure that he was a hostile presence. He continued to stare at this man, who seemed overly interested in their conversation, and unfolded his arms, slowly moving away from the group. Once the man took notice of Azure's movements, he quickly turned around and beguna to flee in the opposite direction. Without saying a word, Azure took off after him, leaping over the group and sprinting into the crowded streets of the city. The spy took to the higher grounds of the city, leaping onto to the rooftops, and Azure followed suit. Their path clear of any obstacles, Azure began to close the gap between them as he continued to give chase. He would not allow this man, whomever he was to leave this place without questioning him first...and the answers he provided would determine whether he survived this encounter or not.~

Issildia regarded Azure's departure with merely a glance before her attention returned to Hykoshi. She knew well that Azure was more than capable to deal with the situation, a half trained spy would barely even be considered a threat to him, if indeed that was what they were dealing with.
"The Ryera are a prominent bloodline of necromancers that hail from Keirdon. Though their power diminished greatly after their attempts to alter the balance between the realms of Life and Death. But nonetheless they are still something of a threat..."
Issildia then glanced back to Azure in pursuit of the spy over the rooftops.
"Now if you would excuse me." she said distantly as she turned towards the pursuit at hand, leaving Hykoshi behind.

~It did not take long for Azure to close the gaps between the two of them. He ran alondside of him for a bit taking a moment to study the man. He was fast, but that was the only apparent skill he posessed. The man then looked off to his right, and took notice of Azure's pursuit. Once he reached the East wall of the city, both he and Azure leapt over its structure landing just outside. It was then that Azure drew a single knife from his belt and hurled it at the man's ankle.
The knife indeed met its mark, as Azure was proven to be an astounding marksman causing the man to fall to the ground. As he struggled to pull the knife from his flesh, Azure approaced him and drew his blade, Dark Sentinel, holding it to the man's throat. He tilted his head a bit before he began his interrogation. His eyes flashed to give him a sense of how dangerous the ground he tread upon would be at this point.~
You should already know why I'm here, therefore I will not entertain this matter. You have a choice to make. Answer my questions and live....or refuse and I draw the answers I desire from your blood.

Issildia's cloaked form dropped down soundlessly from the wall above as she approached the spy that Azure had managed to capture.
"Bydradel..." Issildia said with disdain, speaking in the common tounge of the lands that both she and Azure hailed from. "Y bedo ra teth'd keja y paddan lryca" she added with a slight smirk as she looked down at the spy.
"Who sent you...where are you from?" She questioned in a grim tone accented by the sound of her own blade being drawn, only to be leveled at the spy's neck as well.
(Celtarie translations~ "Bydradel..." = "Pathetic" "Y bedo ra teth'd keja y paddan lryca"= "A pity he didn't give a better chase")

Hykoshi saw Issildia jumped, and wondered why she needed to help Azure. He seemed more than capable, even to Hykoshi who didn't know him. "Jinzo!" He called. His second hand man came to him. "Yes, Hykoshi?" He asked quickly. "Make a note of the Ryeras, and then keep it in the logs for further record, I have a feeling ehy'll be important to us soon enough." He waved Jinzo away, and started talking to his wife in a hushed voice. "Of course, Hykoshi." Jinzo said angrily, andslid back to the behind of the group.

~When Issildia began to interrogate the spy he remained silent as he stared at the two who now threatened him. His hand still fixated on the blade in his ankle. Azure could only wonder who it was that this pathetic peon had been working for, but it seemed that their answers would not come as easily as he had hoped. Azure only sheathed his blade, and kneeled down next to the spy. He then delivered a powerful punch to the man's jaw, cauing him to fall to the side, rippig the knife out of his flesh and worsenning his wound at the same time. He then lifted the spy up by the collar and held him level to his own gaze. HIs eyes had faded into a solid green as he spoke.~
The lady has asked you a question. It would besuit you to answer. evil
~The man's grip had not left the dagger as he looked back up at Azure. He did not show any sense of fear nor was he ready to give in to the interrogation. The blow to his face was only a warning. It was obvious that the pain inflicted upon his body would only worsen should he choose disobedience over survival. Making a choice he suddenly lunged forward, driving the knife deep into Azure's chest, a few drops of crimson staining the ground.~
You insolent.....
~Azure's hold on this spy suddenly shifted to his throat as he stood from his position. He lifted the spy off of the ground, and tightened his grip, his claws sinking into his flesh drawing blood, but avoiding the kill. Azure was obviously not impressed by his attempted attack. He reached up and pulled the knife from his flesh, shaking the blood off of its metal and placing it back in the holster at his waist. He then raised his left fist and drove it deep into the spy's abdomen, forcing the air out of his body. In the next split second, with a blur of a motion Azure released his grasp on thr spy's throat and struck him with a blow to his windpipe, preventing any air to enter his body. The pain would have been great, but the very agony of suffocation was more than enough to strike a fear within the heart of this particular man.~
Shall we try this once more? From what lands do you hail? Answer less you'd rather have the use of your tongue removed...permanently.
