Snickering to himself, Timon swayed jauntily on his branch, then bounced away into the foliage. So, there were other beings in the jungle..! That might be helpful one day. He tucked this information into the back of his mind, ducking under a rather large vine as he did. He'd have to find Pumbaa and tell him, else the warthog might find himself in a pit-load of trouble soon enough...
Oho, little did Timon know. So very little.

Alas, the other cub's flirtations brushed upon Kitambi's flaw of conscience- his ego. Puffing his chest out proudly as the words 'strong and handsome' made their way over his much inflamed self opinion, the young leopard padded softly after Tamani. "Well, a great adventurer like myself has to take some risks, you know!" Ah yes, Kitambi's great adventurers, the hardest of which consisted of leaving a load of lions to come to this jungle, not exactly the stuff of legends.

Tamani smirked. Oh yes, this cub she'd encountered could be of use, even if he didn't ask to enter her jungle. That could be overlooked though. A little bit of company, even of his sort, could come in very useful. A plan formed within her head. Perhaps this...scrap of a cub could help her snag that little weasel. She'd have to share the booty, but it would be worth it, to have an extra set of paws and teeth to grab hold of that skinny little rat.
"Well, a lady such as myself could stand to have a brave adventurer at her side. Would you care to stay within my jungle? I'm sure there's more than enough room for the two of us in the vastness here..." Oh how her words continued to drip with the essence of honey. Sitting down upon her haunches, Tamani bent her head down to lap at the cool sweet water. When she'd had her fill, she turned her head, licking her lips daintily. "Come, join me. The water is quite sweet right now....more so than usual..." The black leopardess purred invitingly, again batting her eyes at Kitambi. Oh yes. Trouble at its finest moment.. Who knew what other plans she might have for the poor soul of Kitambi, who knew what that twisted little mind of hers was capable of dreaming and scheming up. Regardless of what it was, it was obvious that it probably wouldn't be all that....nice.

"PUMBAAAAAAAAAA!" Timon called out, cupping his paws around his mouth. The meercat was getting bored, and his feet were rather sore. Rubbing his back, he grunted, then reached up and swung himself onto a higher branch. There, he stretched, then flopped onto his back and stared up through the branches at the sky above. Even though he was tired and lost, it was still a Hakuna Matata sort of place, and Timon revelled in it. He wouldn't bother calling again; If Pumbaa was around, the warthog would have heard him and come running by now. Nothing to do but sit and wait.

A huge black crow landed above Timon and then looked at the meerkat, it then cawed angrily and covered her invisble ears as the rodent yelled out. "Good gods man...do you have a death wish cuz I'll fullfill it!" The crow rolled her eyes and then looked at the meerkat.

"Bah, bug off, birdy. You didn't have to come and hear!" Timon growled, sitting up to get a better look at the crow. He waved his front paws towards it, snickering. "Shoo! Go eat something dead or steal shiny stuff. There's nothing around here for you but a fat upper lip!"

With that she gently pecked his head and then hopped of through the forest.

A deep humming came from the large warthog as he came into veiw below the tree that Timon and the Black Crow now argued. He had heard his buddys shout and quickly left from where he was, hunting for a new buggy snack of course, and began his treck to where his little Meerkat friend was. His tail was erect as usual, but in the short tassle of black hair he had on his rather large head, was leaf litter and sticks, along with the occasional insect, which he was oblivious of, of course. "Timon?" He grunted, looking around for his compadre'. "TTIIIMMOOOOOONNNN! Where are you?" He continued to shout. He began to spin franticly in circles.

The crow blinked at the warthog before turning to the annoying meerkat and blinking, a small sadistic smirk laced her long beak before she gracefully flkew down and placed a soft smile on her beak this time. "Why who ever are you searching for?" She stopped her sentence when she smelt the air and nearly choked if it weren't for her over nice attitude...to people she didn't see as an ignoramus.

Lounging upon a low branch of a large tree, a dark form rests while her senses do not. Dark spots anoint her slightly lighter fur, from the tip of her ears to the tip of her tail, which is idling swishing behind her. Almost every time a good wind blows through the lower canopy of the jungle, Usiku closes her eyes to appreciate the freshness.
After having first come to the Jungle, the panther had immediatly wanted to explore. So many wonderful sights and sounds, and most of them new to her completely!
For now, she rested from her exploits and just basked in the heat of the jungle.

Saddened by the absence of his newly aquired friend, Msuko, he left the uninviting Mistweaver Lands to seek new friends, and mentors. He traveled for days, lonely, desperatlely trying to find someone to talk to besides the voices in his head.
He had been walking for three days staight without stopping for rest. Occasionly he would stop at a water hole for a cool drink, but beside that he could not give up the search, he was going mad and he was very exhausted. He saw a patch of foliage along the horizon. "A jungle.." Urari said to himself. He traveled towards the promising rest spot. "I can't take this anymore..I need to stop." He didn't realize how his walking began to slow over the last day of his journey till he noticed how long it was taking him to reach the mouth of the jungle.
Once inside, Urari found a nearby trunk of a tree and collapsed. He didn't notice the panther resting on a low branch right above him. But, he didn't care, he didn't care if any kind of predatory animal bothered him, nothing really seemed to matter except for how tired he was.

Usiku had been in the process of closeing her eyes once more when she heard something...a noise that had been made by an animal and not the wind. Her eyes immediatly snapped open and she scanned the nearby area for any sign of a threat.
It wasn't hard to miss the black and white figure coming towards the tree that she currently inhabited. Her shackles rose as she watched the young lion approach, but something was itching at the back of her mind....something familiar. Then it hit her so suddenly that she almost fell off of the branch and into the unexpecting lap of the lion.
It was Urari! A friend she had made awhile back. She immediatly leapt from the branch and clawed her way down the trunk until finally jumping the last few feet and landing right next to him.
"Urari!" She called, not realizing that she might have actually startled him.

((Stupid Gaia...))
"You must behave now Urari. I'm leaving now and I do not know when I will be returning. We've been enduring hard times and it's time to do something about it before everyone starves. I will come back for you." Malaika said, consoling her son. She walked away from him, joining the other female lions preparing to go on their long hunt. The pride was starving and the animals were becoming more and more scarce with everyday. "M-m..." Urari tried to call out to his mother, but the tears encompassed him and wouldn't let him speak. Tears began to fall...
Urari leaped off the ground, scared trying to find his mom along the horizon. But, all that stood there was a shadowed creature in front of him. He looked around, confused. He had just seen his mom right in front of him! The it hit him..he was dreaming. He looked to the figure before him and saw that it was a leopard that he had encountered before. "Usiku!" Urari cried out. The tears were still rolling down his cheek. Still exhausted, he sat down on the jungle floor. "I thought I'd never see you again!" He was excited that he found one of his old friends. The lonliness he had felt earlier seemed to drain out of him at the site of Usiku.

The female panther had been quite suprised by the emotion flowing from not only Urari's voice, but also from his eyes. Her friend, albeit an older version than she had last seen, was crying.
Usiku took a step foreward. "Urari..." she said tentativly. "What's wrong?" She honestly hoped she wasn't prying, but it hurt her to see a friend so broken up on the inside that it spilled into the outside.
