Anguria has a taste for bloody things. She loves the sound and feel of an ultra-sharp knife cutting through flesh. Ever hear of Mrs. Lovett's meat pies? Well... uh... I said nothing. When she isn't er, working, she keeps herself spotless. Even white clothing has not a stain on it. She is a bit obsessive that way; her room and her office are all s**c-n-span. (creepy girl) She also likes contrasting color, which is probably why she likes the sight of bloodsplatter on her hands (she never shows anyone this, of course, and not so much as a speck of blood can be seen under her nails). But her favorite contrasting colors are red and green (she loves her green shoes!), and particularly likes to wear green shoes to work...

Gauze is a demure little lady with perfect etiquette and a gracious attitude. However, she always seems distant somehow, and people cannot quite put their finger on how. Her desire for privacy leads few to see her home, or know anything about her, really. She has an excellent sense of design, and a keen dislike for social norms coupled with a tendency for violence. Call her "goth lolita" and she will do physical harm to her offender.

Once, long ago, Gauze was kept locked up in a basement by highly disturbed parents. She had what they believed to be an allergy to the sun and took their protectiveness to jealous extremes. She longed for freedom and longed just to be alone.
Long story short, she removed the problem people from her life and discovered she had no allergy to sun at all; it was merely a sensitivity. She disliked the way it burned her skin and eyes anyway, and discovered that the night actually suited her best.
In the meantime, she decided to make her home more comfortable and fun to inhabit than any other Koshi's. Since her well-to-do parents were no longer in the picture, she had plenty to work with. Any who visit her home would be awed by the use of color and design to make it perfectly her own. And always, always, her windows and doors have creative and beautiful wrought-iron bars. But nobody seems to notice as it goes so well with the gate and fence outside, and the banister that curves so gracefully down the stairs. But they never see what is up those stairs, or below. They only see the receiving rooms; if they were to see any more they would begin to think that maybe her disturbed past had truly affected her. After all, her inner doors, and even her bed are secured with bars. Not to keep her in, but to keep everyone else out.

Yseult and Egilny came to the Haven under hushed circumstances. No one is sure why they were so secretive, or if that was even the intention. For that matter, it is unclear if they knew one another, for they have almost seemed to avoided each other since.
She is quiet and even chilly about her past. She rarely speaks with anyone, though she does seem interested in Taiyou. They are like night and day, to coin a phrase, though Yseult's abilities are tied with ice. When questioned, she will say that she is a warrior mage, though no one has asked her to spar, yet.

Maryanne is a neurotic little kitty. Happy one moment and scared the next, she is likely to make a decision spur-of-the-moment then change her mind a moment or a day later. She will chock that up to the phrase, "ladies are entitled to change their mind!" Let her say that. She also has few of the normal social inhibitions. She will not think twice about switching lovers (first attached, quick and heated break-up, hooked-up again) in one night. She will not think twice about quickly shedding her clothing -- good thing she wears a bathing suit instead of underwear, just in case there's a large body of water. There is speculation that she is either part tiger, or part Turkish Van.

Little is really known about Maryanne. She just sort of showed up one day, rubbing up against Blake's leg. Ashlyn put an end to that, prying her loose and shooing her away. Later she was found curled up near Logan and he told everyone her name was Maryanne and she needed a home.
