Gabriel paced up and down his room, the malaise which had taken him over not long ago now rapidly changed into boundless anxiety. This woman was fascinating him; he had only ever sensed her and heard her mentioned by Rosiel, and yet something drew him to her. Perhaps it was his longing for some reminder of Faye? No, his mind said; some cheap imitation would be a scandal to her memory.

But still...why did he obsess over her so? He must confront her, he concluded. He would meet her and know the woman herself; it had been many years since he had allowed himself company of more than just a fleeting encounter, and he felt the time was right to remind himself that he was, in his heart, human still.

Leaving his room (and sparing a lingering glance at the room where Josephine now slept), Gabriel trod down the stairs and seated himself by the window in the bar, gazing at the moon. The only sounds to be heard were the whistling wind and Zanzen's furious tidying. Eventually, Gabriel lost control of his consciousness and slipped back into sleep...

*blinks and looks up from his cleaning and watches Gabriel for a few minutes and notices that he fell asleep.*
Umm...
*goes and grabs a blanket and gently puts it over Gabriel so he doesn't get cold and goes back to cleaning*

Stefan opens the door, very surprised that it's unlocked.

"Hello..? Is anyone here? Rosiel..?"

He stops, seeing a man's body on the ground, covered with a blanket. His brow furrows, and then he sees an empty Vodka bottle that Zanzen forgot to clean up, though he doesn't know that Zanzen is even there yet. All he knows that if there's an empty Vodka bottle, that means there are about a dozen more of them somewhere, and a very drunk Rosiel on the floor, probably behind the counter.

"Damnit, Rosiel!"

*blinks and looks up from cleaning and looks at Stefan*
Rosiel is sleeping.
And I'm here.
*smiles at Stefan and notices the empty Vodka bottle*
Oops.
*grabs it and throws it away*

Faye pulled her knees up to her chest as she sat in the bed that occupied one corner of the room Rosiel had directed her to. She was thinking as she had been all night. Completely lost in thought and worry about what this morning could bring. After a few years of having no word from Gabriel and only the sparce contact from Mystical, she had given up hope of ever truely being in contact with the man who she was once inseperable from and the woman who had been the best friend she could ask for.
They had been more then the people she was closest to, apart from Keovari. They had protected her, cared for her, and supported her as she could never have expected. Mystical had also begun to build a strong relationship with Keovari. A relationship for who's loss he had suffered. When the four had to split apart after the castle, Faye had hoped against hope for them all to reunite. Her solice in staying with Keovari was small. He would have to stay with her and though she was thankful, she knew that it hurt him to be away from the Lady just after he'd begun to know her more closely. It made Faye feel guilty for breaking apart that relationship because of Alyria.
After the long years that had stretched between the good-byes, Faye had learned to accept that things had changed and it was unlikely that she would ever have either person's companionship again. However, most difficult to accept for her was the loss of Gabriel. Every morning she woke up and wished that he would be there asleep as he had been once. Every day at dinner she imagined that he'd come down from his room to join her as he had when their relationship was young. Every night she would close her eyes as she brushed her hair, trying to convince herself that tomorrow they would meet again.

"Faye... We should go down for breakfast." Keovari knew that his dearest ward had needed the time she took to think. To prepare herself for meeting the man who was most likely Gabriel. He knew that it would have been difficult enough for her to meet him under any circumstances, but more so when she would have to blatently deny being herself to him.
In the back of his mind, Keovari was imagining having to do the same to the Lady. Although it would be more difficult to convince her that there could be a spirit exactly like him yet not him, the idea of lying to her at all was depressing. A waste to think about. You are not likely to ever meet her again.

The girl pushed herself off the bed and resituated the underskirt and loose shirt that she wore beneath her clothes. The unsleep of the night had led her to refuse to change into her night things. She didn't want to invite sleep.
When Faye had dressed and worried about her hair in the mirror across from the bed, the two moved to the door. She glanced down at Keovari's now cat-like again form. He moved slowly but surely and she tried to pull strength from his surety.
They moved from the door and stepped down the stairs they had followed Rosiel up the night before. Faye's softly clicking steps were dulled as she tried to conceal her enterence. The white cat moved ahead of her and twisted around the legs of the chairs, finally moving over to rub against Zanzen's leg, purring.
Faye smiled at him and laughed softly, the mask of smiles swamping her face in cheer. Her heart pounded.
"Hello, pardon my intrusion I am Josephine, a friend of Rosiel's," Faye paused at her introduction and curtised, "I am sorry for asking your help, but I have just come for a visit and do not yet know how things work. Is there any way for me to find myself a meal here? If not, could you perhaps suggest a place in the area?" She smiled at each in turn.

Stefan is about to greet Zanzen and inquire as to where Rosiel was when he heard the soft click of heels on the wooden staircase that led up to several rooms. A young woman decended it, followed by a white cat, which had twined itself around Zanzen's legs, and started to purr. He was taken aback by the woman, not expecting Rosiel to have let in guests. When she asked where she could get something to eat, Stefan scratched his head.

"Well, misses... Josephine? Lovely name, you have there... Well, I suppose I could make you something to eat. You and your cat, as well? What will you have? I'm not much of a cook, but I'm sure I know well enough to make breakfast. Although, if you want a feast, you should find my brother, Rosiel. He's around here somewhere. Where there's empty Vodka bottles, you'll find my brother, unfortunately. Do you happen to know where he is?

Rosiel opened his eyes to find himself in a dimly lit room. He sat up, groaning, and rubbing his temple, where a headache was already starting to creep up. When the room stopped being so blurry, he realized he was in his back room. He thought that he had left Zanzen there, once Zanzen had fallen asleep. He was very confused.

Shaking his head, he pushed the blanket off of himself, and got out of the bed. He was about to open the door and go out of the room when he heard Faye's voice, along with Stefan's. He assumed Zanzen to be out there, as well. Remembering that he had decided to have himself a little drink, he blew on his hand, then smelled it, to check his breath.

It made him cringe. The only problem was that any bathroom was outside of his little backroom. He would have to excuse himself. His hair was an absolute mess, and there were bags under his golden eyes, giving him the look of a professional boozehound. Some of the buttons of his shirt were unbuttoned, even. He buttoned them, while checking his clothes for any stains. When he couldn't find any, he opened the door and went out of his room.

The sudden brightness hurt his eyes, and he stood there, probably looking rather stupid, trying to regain his composure.

*smiles*
Hello, Miss Josephine.
*giggles and scratches behind the cat's ears lightly. Smiling over at Stefan and giggles*
I'm sure I can cook something. And Stefan can come help.
And there's probably some cat food for the cute little kitty too.
*looks back as Rosiel comes out of his room*
And there's Rosiel. He was sleeping back there...
*smiles lightly at Rosiel*
Goodmorning sleepy head. o.o
You look horrible. ><
Would you like some...water? And maybe some breakfast?

Gabriel felt the cloud of sleep around him lift slowly, as he slowly regained some semblence of lucidity. The moon sank low to the horizon, and golden glow was beginning to seep into the world. Daybreak was close, and this would not be a good position for him to be in. Fighting his way out of the blanket placed around him, he staggered across the bar to a secluded, dark corner. As he slumped into the bench by a table, shielded from all light, he saw a woman with a familiar silhouette standing across the way from him. Could it be...?

"Fa..." He began; the woman wheeled about to him immediately, but this was not the dear girl he loved so. He was, again, mistaken. "...I'm so sorry, I...I thought you were someone else." Gabriel apologised smoothly. He inclined his head and said, "Gabriel Valessar."

Rosiel blinks once, then turns to face Zanzen.

"Yeah, water," he croaked. "That would be really good... some medicine, too... headache. I gotta go wash up.. then... while I wash.. Stefan, you get them some food. I need to take Josephine to town... her present, I'll buy her a pretty dress... or something..."

He was vaguely annoyed by how his voice still seemed slurred. His head ache had now grown considerably worse, thanks to the light, and everyone's voices seemed way too loud. He could hear the water dripping in the washroom, and it crashed like thunder with each drop. He went to go to the washroom, however, turned to go behind the bar, instead, and grabbed another bottle of Vodka. Rosiel unscrewed the cap, and was about to drink it when he groaned and put the bottle down on the counter with a loud thud, hard enough to make the bottle crack. He cursed under his breath, screwed the cap back on and then threw the bottle in the container that Zanzen had all of the empty ones.

A faint blush crept up in his cheeks as he realized that his guests were all down here. He mumbled an apology, and went into the wash room, quickly.

Faye turned between the man she did not know and Zanzen.
"I am able to cook if needed, I simply don't know where I should be." She smiled slightly. The windows let light slide into the room gently, diffuse enough for her comfort. Faye pulled her hands together before her as Rosiel came out.
"Is there anything I could do for you, Rosiel?" Keovari moved to twist around her feet suddenly, "People have always said I am proficient at healings."
Without warning, she heard him.
She turned instantly and her heart dropped.
"No appology needed, sir. My name is Josephine Kaller." She curtied to him, watching him in the corner. She allowed her eyes to soak his image up.
And then she looked away again to Rosiel.
"Oh, no. Not today at least. You must rest if you are feeling so... ill."

Raymond the mixed-breed walks in, his dark, keen eyes rather yellow today and his canine fangs seemingly protruding with power for some carnal reason. His quickly observant eyes dart about the carve of the doorframe, picking up all the details of the entry way.

He plunks in a vote for 'Rum', flipping the bar's vote tab his once allotted vote. He smirks softly, thinking of how much Rosiel loved Vodka, and though, as much as he admired his father, he could never acquire a taste to favor that particular drink. Though beer was his most often ordered and often his drink of choice, which he drank like carbonated beverage, Rum was really his favorite.

He read down the list, running his finger down it, falling on 'champagne' and darting an eye back up to wine. Those were his brother's favorites if he knew him, which he well did.

He slid his hand down off the vote board and meandered over to the plaque bar description. Stephan. Really? ...and Rosiel not drinking? He laughed softly at this, the laugh pulling a small smirk on his lips. It wasn't that he didn't believe him capable of it, but just that the concept was so weird to him!

He gazed about the bar over his shoulder and then back at the line about employment. He was interested, but still being co-owner and bouncer of another bar, he wasn't all that sure he'd give in the time needed. ...nor did he know a thing about the bar. Maybe he'd apply later.

He let his finger slide off the board as he turned towards the open room, his legs heading him towards a table.

*nods lightly at Rosiel, and goes to get a bottle of water and some medicine for his headache. Noticing Rosiel went to the washroom, he places the water and medicine on the counter for Rosiel to get when he comes back out. Goes to where Rosiel threw the bottle of Vodka, seeing that it still wasn't broken, takes it out of the container*
... He'd probably be pissed if he wasted any Vodka...
*puts the bottle to a safe spot where it wont be messed with*
I'll have to do something with this later... the bottle would break soon... ><;
*looking at Gabriel and noticing he is awake and in a different area and the blanket left in his old spot, Zanzen goes and grabs the blanket and folds it up.*
I suddenly feel like a maid...
*blinking lightly and shrugging, he goes to put the blanket away.
Coming back to see Raymond walk in he blinks again*
Ah...hello!
*stares at his stomach as it grumbles, he blushes lightly and smiles at everyone*
Okay, what would everyone like for breakfast?

While in the washroom, Rosiel stared at himself in the mirror. There were indeed bags under his eyes. His hair was matted and tangled, and he had stubble on his chin. Scowling at his reflection, he took the silver dagger that he always kept out of his belt loop, and unsheathed the small thing. He had some shaving cream ready for some of the guests, whic he lathered onto his face, and then used the dagger to get the stubble off.

He turned the knob on the sink, making the water flow, then washed his face, his skin stinging slightly. He had his own brush, but that was in his back room. Instead, he wet his hair with the water so that it would be easier to comb through, later. Turning the knob on the sink again, making the water stop, he thought he could probably use a quick bath.

Rosiel stripped himself of his clothing, then stepped into the bathtub, and found that if he were to lay down, he'd probably fall asleep again. His headache was steadily becoming more worse. Right now if felt like there was a drum pounding away in his head, and he could feel the veins pulsing. He turned the knob that released the cold water, then quickly turned the knob that released hot water. Forgetting that it took a bit for the water to get warm, he gasped loudly at the shock of the cold water touching his feet.

Once the water began to feel warm, he plugged the drain, and sat down, getting soup, and lathering up his body with it. He had his wings semi-folded to keep them from getting wet. Once the water was at waist level, he pulled the plug out of the drain, so that it wouldn't spill over the tub.

When he had gotten his body clean, and not smelling of alcohol, Rosiel began on the tedious task of cleaning his wings. He groaned and started picking lint, and anything else, from each of the feathers, then splashed some water on them, to help wash it out. And repeated the process.

As the tub wasn't designed for Angels, he was rather uncomfortable, and could be heard cursing and muttering about his wings by those on the outside of the washroom.

A mess of a man he was, traveling for days, only able to bathe in rivers and springs he passed. As he came upon a bar, his eyes lit up with hope to have a decent drink for once.

He stepped into the bar and looked around, seeing a large variety in the other occupants of the bar. He walked over and took a seat as far away from other people as he could and watched them silently, wondering if he could still get a drink from here, even though he was short on money.
